I recently bought some kids' glasses from Lenskart, and it turned out to be a bit of a let-down. They told me about some offers when I bought them, but they didn't mention that there were no spare parts available for the kids' glasses. Even though they said there was a one-year warranty, when the nosepad broke within a year, I found out that there were no spare parts to fix it. They said I had to buy a whole new set of glasses at full price, which wasn't covered by the warranty. It was annoying because even a small local optician would usually have spare parts like a nosepad. I emailed Lenskart to tell them about the problem, but they didn't offer any solutions or replacements. My child had to put up with the consequences of this bad purchase, and I felt like the glasses were just disposable. It makes you wonder why Lenskart would sell something without spare parts for maintenance. Overall, it was a disappointing and frustrating experience that I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with.
Frame+lens purchase
I purchased this really cool frame and lens from an online store about 3 months ago and it cost me quite a bit. They assured me it was really strong and wouldn't easily get scratched. But you know what? I discovered a tiny scratch on it, and when I brought it to their attention, they basically said it wasn't their problem and that I needed to buy a new one. How frustrating, right? I always make sure to keep my glasses safe in their little box, and yet it still got scratched. It's just not fair! I've had much cheaper glasses that lasted much longer. Next time, I think I'll check out that fancy store everyone's been talking about or just go to a regular shop. They would have sorted me out without any hassle.
Progressive lens purchase
I bought some progressive lenses from this company not long ago, and I must say, I was really let down by the whole experience. I spoke to one of their staff to place the order and made the payment online. But when my order turned up, it was actually bifocal lenses instead of the progressive ones I wanted.
The glasses protect my eyes while I work on my computer
Due to the convid 19 lockdown. Most office workers and business organizations are advised to work from home. I work 16 hours per day with my computer. Even before the locked down this is my working duration with my computer. I discovered recently that my eye itch after each day's work. My wife suggested I buy a blue-light-blocking glass. I immediately ordered one from Lenskart. I got to know about Lenskart from my colleagues at work who uses their glasses. I got my glass delivered. I must confess the itch and eye strain has reduced. I can work more than 16 hours on my computer without being scared of blue light.
