    Difficult subscription cancellation process

    Trying to cancel my subscription with this company has been a total nightmare. It's so difficult to do, and the only way I managed was to cancel my card. I've attempted to log in to my account on their website, but every time I hit a brick wall. The phone numbers they give don't even work. Don't be deceived by their appealing starting price - it's just not worth the hassle.

    I can't believe it, this company has gone and messed up my subscriptions! I've had them for years and now they've just disappeared. I tried to get in touch with customer service, but they were absolutely useless. They completely ignored all of my emails and couldn't even explain why they were still taking money from my account. I definitely wouldn't advise anyone to use this company, go and find yourself another magazine subscription service instead!

    I have been subscribing to TV...Satellite Week for a long time and then things started going wrong the last thing was in March where I was charged twice and then sent out two copies of the above magazine. I complained back then why was I getting two copies every week and I had been charged twice. I phoned and was told that they extra copies would stop and that I would not be charged until August. The second copies kept coming and I kept phoning several times saying that the second copies would be stopped but that never happened and was promised I would not be charged until August. Well, a DD payment is due to go out tomorrow and I started getting one copy
    last week.

    I phoned today furious and told them I want a refund as they had not kept their promises and never did anything about stopping the second copies being sent out.

    3 Issues for $1 offer

    Do not, do not, do not use this company for any subscription services.

    I have been battling with them for almost 3 months now. When I initially ordered my subscription, I received the offer of 3 issues for £1 and then a rolling payment of £24.99 every 6 months. This is what is on my booking statement and was the advertised price at the time.

    After my issues took ages to arrive I phoned up to find out what was going on. In doing this, I discovered that my fee was in fact £23.99 every 3 months, meaning I would have been paying almost double what I was expecting.

    I have been calling and emailing for weeks now trying to resolve this issue. Every time I phone, I receive different information and now I have phoned and been told my subscription was canceled. When I explicitly told them to not cancel it over the phone, and that any actions must be sent by email so I had proof of what was occurring.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS JOKE COMPANY. Complete scam.

    I purchased 4 mags which never arrived (twice) because I suspect they where never sent.
    When i asked for my refund all I got was £4 from £31 spent . They say they have sent my refund , like my mags i don't think it will arrive.
    Never use this company

    I decided to get my magazine delivered as I could not go to the shops to buy it, got the first couple then nothing I phoned them and they said they had problems with direct debit but they were fixing it, got a magazine about two weeks later then nothing again, phoned again got a magazine for another week or two now nothing again, so I am about to phone again but this time to cancel. I talked my friend into subscribing she also had the same problem but she cancelled after her second call to them, wish I had followed her then. I have never known a company that can not deliver a magazine weekly as ordered. All I can say is they better not take any money out of my account for such bad service.

    Been getting my magazine regularly for a couple of years and had no problems until December 2019. From then till now the magazine is arriving 5 weeks behind time.
    I've called Magazines Direct, was assured all were sent out, told to check my own postal office, they say there is no delay on delivery of items.
    I won't be renewing my subscription and am disappointed

    How did you manage to cancell the magazine. I am having difficulty.

    My partner got me a subscription to a magazine as a present, using Magazines Direct. For the first few months the issues turned up regularly, but latterly there are huge gaps in delivery and several months can be missed at a time. Ringing them is hopeless - we have spent far too much time trying to get missed issues sent. The person on the other end of the line agrees we are due, but nothing arrives. Total farce of a company. Will never, ever use again.

    I was bought a magazine subscription for Xmas. Despite calling and confirming email address they never sent download details. And when eventually gave up trying only refunded 50% of subscription saying I was eligible and it wasn’t their fault if I didn’t get the download link. Would never trust them. Beware

    I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY COPY OF TV TIMES 2ND MAY TO 9TH MAYTHIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME AS I HAVE BEEN A CUSTERMER FOR MANY A YEAR.

    On 2 separate occasions( April 2020 and today 5/8/2020 I have completed the online application form to receive Womans Weekly. Used info from WW magazine I purchased. No email received to say it was accepted. Contacted Customer service and they cannot find my detail. Hopeless.

    DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, I ordered regular deliveries of the TV Times to my mother in a nursing home, they have been regular and then stopped twice, with no explanation, their help line says they are having a new system put in and cant' check for a week, they will refer you to magazines.com where oddly the subscription number cannot be found. You may as well throw your money down the drain.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. On 7 July I renewed my annual subscription (£97.40) for the TV Times with Magazines Direct. On 17 July I received an email from them thanking me for subscribing to Woman & Home magazine. I emailed them to say that this was incorrect and that I'd renewed the TV Times subscription. I emailed a copy of the TV Times renewal letter. I was asked to phone them and they said I needed to provide proof of payment which I got from my bank and sent them. Despite them having copies of their renewal letter and my proof of payment and despite innumerable weekly emails they seem incapable of resolving the issue. I have emailed them today to say that if I do not get resolution of the issue within the next week I want my money back.

    I’m guessing you’ve been getting my woman and home magazine ???? they’ve taken payment every month for over two years now without supplying the magazine. After too many emails to count they agreed to their mistake and promised to refund my money. Despite numerous chase ups from me, I’m still waiting for my refund over over £110 . Good luck ????

    A Scam company period. Payment received but not a single issue of Decanter received yet status is indicated as "delivered" in the portal. Zero response to emails
