    My order never came

    This company is absolutely terrible! I ordered a magazine and it never showed up. When I tried to get in touch with them, all they did was send me some generic response that didn't even address my question. I had to keep pestering them for updates, and it was really frustrating!

    I just bought a subscription and honestly, it was such a pain. The website was a nightmare to get around and I couldn't find the subscription I was looking for. The checkout was a mess and kept giving me errors. It was all so confusing and made me feel like they didn't really know what they were doing.     May edition of Gardeners World magazine

    I'm a customer with Magazines Direct and I need to say I'm not happy with how the whole buying thing went down. I decided to get the May edition of Gardeners World back on March 9th, and even though they took my cash on March 11th, I didn't actually get the magazine until April 9th. This has meant I missed out on some good two for one deals, which really annoys me. Trying to reach their customer service has made things even worse - all the phone numbers I've tried have been wrong, making me even more frustrated. I feel like I've been tricked and I'm starting to think this company might be up to no good. I wish I'd checked Trustpilot before I bought anything, maybe I could've avoided all of this. Now, I want my money back, £9.99, so I can try to get the magazine somewhere else, if there are any copies still available.

    I will never purchase from this place again, it was the worst experience I have ever had. The service team is completely clueless, it feels like they have no idea what they are doing. It's as if I am talking to a brick wall. Their incompetence is so shocking, I can hardly believe it.

    Wrong magazines sent twice

    They sent me the wrong magazine twice! When I contacted the people at the store, they were not helpful at all. I mean, how difficult is it to send the correct magazines? I just wanted to read about my favourite celebrities, but instead, I received magazines about fishing or something. It's not cool at all.

    My subscription mess-up

    So, I went ahead and bought a 6-month subscription online in December for £21.99. However, I started receiving these letters claiming my payment hadn't gone through, even though the money had been taken from my card. Then, before I even received my first magazine in February, they decided to charge my card THREE times without my consent! They did refund me for the initial extra charge pretty quickly, which was a relief. But now I'm really struggling to get the second refund sorted out. Honestly, I'd recommend steering clear of this company - they're so underhand and their subscription system is just a mess.

    Overcharged subscription

    My experience with this company has been a total nightmare. They've overcharged me twice for my subscription and when I contacted customer service for a refund, they were no help at all. Instead of sorting it out, they kept asking for vague information from some mysterious department. I'm really disappointed with the lack of honesty and transparency from the company.

    Long wait, wrong order

    So, I decided to treat myself to a magazine subscription and they said it would arrive in 5 weeks. Can you believe it? I ended up waiting a whole 10 weeks, only for the wrong magazine to turn up! Now, I'm trying to get a refund but they're being incredibly unhelpful and just not cooperating at all. It's so frustrating!

    Magazine subscription

    I was really let down by this company. I ordered some magazine subscriptions but never got any of them. When I tried to get help from customer service, they were so rude and not helpful at all. And to top it off, I never got the refunds they promised for the magazines that never arrived. I feel really frustrated and upset about the lack of honesty and bad service from this company. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use them.

    Subscription issue with missing Christmas SFX magazine

    I've had quite a few bad experiences with this company, especially when it comes to missing subscription problems. For example, I was supposed to get the Christmas issue of SFX magazine but it never turned up. I got in touch with customer service and they told me there was a technical issue holding up subscription copies. They said they'd send me a replacement, but it never showed up. Even after chasing them up, I still haven't got the magazine, and it's already April. It's really disappointing because the whole point of subscribing is to make sure you never miss an issue. Another problem I had was when I ordered some bookazines and only got part of my order. At first, they blamed my credit card company, but later they admitted that their computer system only lets you order two items at a time. These delays and errors have been really frustrating and have made my overall experience with this company pretty negative.

    I had a frustrating experience with my subscription to a magazine recently. I kept getting emails saying there were payment problems, but every time I phoned customer service, they said everything was okay. It was really annoying because I couldn't speak to anyone in the UK, so talking to them was tough and not very trustworthy. Even after they missed call me, they still didn't understand the problem.     I recently bought an issue of Metal Hammer from a website for the first time. It took about 4 weeks for the delivery to Germany, which was a bit longer than I thought. The package only had some plastic wrapping, but luckily the item was not damaged when it arrived. One thing I think they could do better is to send more email updates about the shipping process, as I wasn't sure if my order had been sent or not. Overall though, I don't have any big complaints and would be happy to order from them again in the future.

    Difficult subscription cancellation process

    Trying to cancel my subscription with this company has been a total nightmare. It's so difficult to do, and the only way I managed was to cancel my card. I've attempted to log in to my account on their website, but every time I hit a brick wall. The phone numbers they give don't even work. Don't be deceived by their appealing starting price - it's just not worth the hassle.

    I can't believe it, this company has gone and messed up my subscriptions! I've had them for years and now they've just disappeared. I tried to get in touch with customer service, but they were absolutely useless. They completely ignored all of my emails and couldn't even explain why they were still taking money from my account. I definitely wouldn't advise anyone to use this company, go and find yourself another magazine subscription service instead!

    I have been subscribing to TV...Satellite Week for a long time and then things started going wrong the last thing was in March where I was charged twice and then sent out two copies of the above magazine. I complained back then why was I getting two copies every week and I had been charged twice. I phoned and was told that they extra copies would stop and that I would not be charged until August. The second copies kept coming and I kept phoning several times saying that the second copies would be stopped but that never happened and was promised I would not be charged until August. Well, a DD payment is due to go out tomorrow and I started getting one copy
    last week.

    I phoned today furious and told them I want a refund as they had not kept their promises and never did anything about stopping the second copies being sent out.

    3 Issues for $1 offer

    Do not, do not, do not use this company for any subscription services.

    I have been battling with them for almost 3 months now. When I initially ordered my subscription, I received the offer of 3 issues for £1 and then a rolling payment of £24.99 every 6 months. This is what is on my booking statement and was the advertised price at the time.

    After my issues took ages to arrive I phoned up to find out what was going on. In doing this, I discovered that my fee was in fact £23.99 every 3 months, meaning I would have been paying almost double what I was expecting.

    I have been calling and emailing for weeks now trying to resolve this issue. Every time I phone, I receive different information and now I have phoned and been told my subscription was canceled. When I explicitly told them to not cancel it over the phone, and that any actions must be sent by email so I had proof of what was occurring.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS JOKE COMPANY. Complete scam.

    When i asked for my refund all I got was £4 from £31 spent . They say they have sent my refund , like my mags i don't think it will arrive.
