Dodgy dealings
I had an absolutely shocking experience with this company. I ordered something five weeks ago and still haven't received it, so I decided to check up on it. Turns out, they're in liquidation! It's crazy because they're still trading online, which is against the law. I got an email from the office manager telling me to contact my bank for a refund. Can you believe it?
Slippers purchase for Christmas gift
So, I bought a pair of slippers from Urban Surfer as a present for my brother-in-law at Christmas. I got a size ten, but it turned out they were too small for him. I got in touch with Urban Surfer to see about swapping them for a bigger size, but I was pretty disappointed with their reply. Even though I told them everything and the slippers were like new, they wouldn't exchange them because I didn't keep the original packaging. I get that you need to return things in the same state, but I wasn't expecting them to be so strict about it.
Sandals
I bought a pair of sandals from Urban Surfer recently and it was a real let down. I placed the order, paid up, and then got an email the next day saying they were out of stock. It was pretty annoying, especially because my mum managed to get the same sandals for £10 cheaper on eBay, and it turns out they were being sold by Urban Surfer’s own shop on there. I felt like it wasn’t right that my order got canceled because they were out of stock, but my mum’s went through just fine.
Overnight delivery chosen
I was really excited to get my order quickly, I chose overnight delivery because I was in a rush. But I was disappointed when it arrived five days later by 2nd class post. This delay meant I had to pay extra to send it to Europe as the person had already left. It was a bit of a letdown overall.
Tax and high shipping cost
I had a really frustrating time dealing with this company. I mean, I'm a Turk living in Turkey and I got hit with domestic tax on an export package – what's that all about? And to make matters worse, the shipping fees for such a small package were just sky-high. It feels like a total rip-off and I'm not pleased with the service one bit.

I loved how they have customized all their products for outing and skating. There are lot of clothing which is best for skating or surfing.
I bought one jacket and shoes. The quality and brand says everything, rest when you actually use it for what you buy it for, one can find how it perfectly fits there. So that's why their products are highly relevant to the sports, especially and mostly skating/surfing.
