Logo design
I'll be honest, I wasn't sure about getting a logo design for my business at first. I had heard some bad things about freelancers not doing a great job. But, I have to admit, the customer support on this platform is really good. Whenever I had a problem with a freelancer not doing a good job, the customer support team sorted it out quickly by giving me a refund. It was nice to know I wouldn't lose out if a freelancer was trying to trick me or did a bad job.
Logo design services purchase
I had a bit of a problem with a seller who was supposed to design a logo for me, but the live support from the platform was so quick at fixing it. The team really knew what was going on and sorted it out fast. Sara and Nash from the support team were especially amazing, they really deserve a shoutout for their great service. It's just a shame that some sellers, like the one I had trouble with, make the platform look bad.
Freelance services
I've been using Fiverr for a few years now as a customer, and I must say, it's a really great platform for finding freelance services. Sure, there may be a few freelancers who don't quite meet expectations, but on the whole, my experience has been positive. I really like the variety of services on offer and how easy it is to communicate with freelancers.
Quick communication
I got in touch with the seller quickly, but the response I got was not at all related to what I asked. Thankfully, once I gave more info, they sorted the problem out fast. It bugs me how sellers are told to reply within 24 hours, but then some of them just ignore you without saying why. It'd be better if they were upfront about whether they can do the job or not.
Freelancer dispute resolution
I've had a bit of trouble with a freelancer I found on this platform. They did a pretty poor job with the work they submitted, and on top of that, they said they were finished and got paid. I was left in a really annoying position where I had to decide whether to just live with the bad work or try and sort it out. Even though it took a lot of effort and time to get the problem sorted out, I eventually managed to get my money back with the help of customer support. It would be really helpful if the platform had better protection for buyers and sellers to stop this kind of thing happening in the future.
SEO content writing services
I recently bought some SEO content writing services from a freelancer on Fiverr. I was really happy with the quality of the work they provided. They were really professional, listened to what I wanted, and got the job done quickly. However, my overall experience was spoiled by Fiverr's poor customer service. They kept sending me loads of sales emails, even after I asked them to stop, which was really annoying. It made me feel like they didn't care about me as a customer, just as money. This lack of respect for what I wanted has left me feeling pretty fed up, and I'm thinking about checking out other platforms for my next projects.
Content writing services
I was really impressed with the content writing services I got. The seller gave me top-notch work that went above and beyond what I was expecting. The communication during the process was great and the final result was spot on. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for professional content writing.
Feedback on my project
I tried to update my review but couldn't figure it out. Those titles can really catch you off guard, can't they?
Finding writers and designers
Great way to find writers and designers for my website. Very easy to use
Gig rejected
I'm really frustrated because my gigs keep getting rejected on Fiverr for some reason and I just can't figure out why. I've been trying to follow all the rules by making edits but it seems like it's never enough. I'm starting to think about looking for other platforms to sell my services.
Website Build Out
I spent so much money on getting a fancy website built, but the person I hired was really rude and never responded to my messages. They even asked for more money even though I had already paid them a lot! I tried to reach out to customer support for help, but there was no phone number available and they weren't very helpful. I'm really disappointed with the whole situation.
Engineering plans, 7-day delivery
I ordered some engineering plans on Fiverr and was told I'd get them within 7 days. But when they arrived, they turned out to be someone else's plans! My money had already been paid out and now I have to wait even longer for the correct ones. I probably should have just gone with a local engineer in the first place.
Small niche gig
The whole experience was so strange. I mean, I was pretty hopeful at the beginning, but it turned out to be really hard to get noticed with all the other people vying for attention. Even though my speciality was quite unique, with only around 20 others doing the same thing, I only got two messages, and neither of them ended up in working together. The app was easy enough to navigate, but it was a bit disheartening not getting more responses.
I ordered a voiceover
I was really looking forward to getting a voiceover for my project, but when I listened to it, it was clear that it was done by a robot! I even mentioned to the Fiverr support that the person in the photo wasn't genuine, but they didn't take any action. I was really let down by that!
Video editing services
I was doing really well on Fiverr until this rude buyer came along and left a stupid review just because they didn't get something that wasn't even possible for me to do! Fiverr's customer service wasn't much help either, and they take a huge chunk of money from both the buyer and the seller, which isn't fair at all.
Additional income from this platform
The new "success score" system is just awful. The feedback given is so vague and cryptic, it's really difficult to know what to do better. Even though I've had lots of five-star reviews, tips, and top buyers, my score is still stuck at 4/10. It's disheartening and feels like a slap in the face not to be recognised for my effort and commitment. Fiverr really needs to sort this system out as soon as possible before they lose all their sellers.
Web design services
I bought some web design services from someone on Fiverr recently and I have to say, I was really disappointed with how it all turned out. At first, the seller seemed like they knew what they were doing, but after a few weeks of chatting back and forth, it became obvious that they couldn't deliver on their promises. The final design was not great - full of mistakes and didn't even meet the basic requirements I had laid out. When I asked for changes, the seller went silent and eventually just stopped responding altogether. I was left with an unfinished project and had to look elsewhere to get it sorted properly. All in all, a really frustrating and time-wasting experience.
Marketplace buying and selling
I've been using Fiverr for more than ten years now and it's always been my go-to marketplace. I find it really handy because you can buy and sell services without all the stress of creating your own website. I like that they take care of things like payment processing and technical stuff, so sellers can just concentrate on their products. However, there are definitely some drawbacks - the customer support isn't great and there's a lack of quality control with some sellers, which can lead to scams. For example, when I had a problem with a payment processor, Fiverr's response was not helpful at all and I was left without a solution.
