Online booking error cost me an extra £300.
An error occurred with Loveholidays 'mybooking' system. My wife and I booked HB at The Navarria Hotel, Cyprus, which some how was altered to B...B when I checked the itinerary prior to going on holiday. The only alteration I amended was the hotel transfer as we had a rental car. I received an email with a £30 refund, which I thought was a generous offer for cancelling the hotel transfer. I contacted an online agent who pointed out the alteration and this is when the agent informed me of the reason for the refund, I explained that I had no idea how the change had occurred and could the hotel booking be changèd back to the original HB. This was going to cost me an extra £200 for the alteration. How does an alteration from HB to B...B produce a refund of £30, yet to revert back it incurs a penalty of £200. Nice little earner for the hotel, yet it cost my wife and I an extra £300 on top of the holiday cost, due to having to eat out every night. On top of that, my wife is disabled, which is the reason we opted for HB in the first place.

Got a text this evening (not even a call) saying they can’t do and to click on link to rebook! Next date was Friday 2nd April at 7pm! I have tenants moving in 1st April!
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BOOK WITH A COMPANY WHO LETS YOU DOWN AT THE LAST MINUTE LIKE THIS?
Now if they can’t do that’s fine. At least call me to discuss. They did not.
Then at least offer me another time same day or day after. No they didn’t. Not even an apologetic call.
They put me in such an awful position that I had no choice but to find someone else within 24 hours! I’m still searching and it’s now gone 10pm!
How dare they do this to me?! They are quick to mention their 48 hour cancellation policy saying if WE cancel we get charged the full amount but it’s ok to cancel the customer the night before!? And then not even call the customer to explain or to at least take a call from them. I can’t get hold of them!
They have taken my money in advance for the booking as well as the 79GBP membership fee for being a VIP customer - REALLY? I wonder how normal customers get treated??!
I have left messages and text them. No one has bothered to call me back and right now I’m the one who has lost out. I entered into this agreement in good faith only to be treated like this and got screwed over.
This is not how a reputable business should be running.

Hotel in Dubai
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
Arrived in Dubai today and landed to an email from destination 2 less then 24 hours before check in stating they have to change our resort hotel. They advised us that they could only offer 3 alternative hotels, all of which were completely substandard to our original booking. We booked Ceasers Palace on blue water island a beach front location and we were offered mediocre city hotels nowhere near the location where we originally booked. Our option was to accept one of these hotels or a refund. As previously mentioned we had already arrived in Dubai with less than 24 hours notice to spend Christmas with our family. This company took our money 4 months previously! I cannot stress enough I would never risk booking with this company to go through what we have had to endure. A faceless company who are impossible to contact, the customer service we received from “Gemma” was the most insincere I have ever received and lacked any compassion. I cannot believe that a company would operate in this way, in times when legitimate companies have ceased trading this company are scamming innocent people and deserve to go out of business. Took over 2 months to arrive and when they did 50% of the plants too diseased to plant. This comoany us the most unprofessional business I gave ever encountered. No proper contact. I gad been trying to cancel my order for a month, no acknowledgement from them. Then the plants arrive. It will cost me £70 to return them, so I cannot afford that. Will have to burn the diseased ones. Honestly it has made me ill with worry. AVOID THIS COMPANY they are charletans.

Absolutely shocking customer service no updates on delivery my order was ordwred on the 27th november 2020 and was supposed to be here by the 2nd december 2020but this is now the 5th of december and nothing at all you cannit contact them to speak to someone thry give u an email to send to tgem if theres a problem on their pafe ive done thst since the 2nd december nothing apart from an automated email which tells u basically nothing again
