Plants
Absolutely dreadful service and feel very mislead. This is nothing to do with Waitrose as it is Crocus that provide the plants. Inferior quality, long wait time and the worst customer service i have ever known. They wanted me to pay to return their plants. I would rather give them a review to warn others. Avoid at all costs
Plants online
Terrible. Do not order, the plants are delivered in cardboard boxes and have clearly been kept there for too long. So far on;y two of eight i paid for have survived
Fire Pit
When the Fire Pit arrived, it was disappointing, the online photograph was much better than the actual Fire Pit. The problems really began when I tried to return the Fire Pit. Waitrose Garden have a returns policy which requires the customer to sort this out themselves or they arrange it at a huge cost to the customer. The initial delivery was £5.95, return cost £25!
Added to this customer service has been unhelpful and lacking any kind of courtesy. The final straw was when I received an email which had incorrect parcel collection information. If you intend to buy anything from Waitrose Garden check that you are happy with this returns policy before you buy!delphiniums and artichokes
some were damaged and rotting......the response to my complain was unhelpful. I will not use them ever again
Plant
Appalling customer service with delivery promised in 4-5 days actually taking 7-10 days with no updates providing or serious tracking. The products never match website description and illustrations. A total rip off - avoid Waitrose gardens like the plague.
Honeysuckle (Lonicera - heckrotti Gold Flame- 2 litre pot.
This was a birthday present for my daughter. I ordered and paid on 7 June and the plant was delivered on 14 June - missing her birthday by 2 days. What is not made clear on the website , is that the plant is dispatched 3-5 days yes but then delivered by another company which delays arrival by several days. I chose Waitrose over other nurseries as I trusted the good name but feel that they are not being honest about the way Waitrose garden is run. I cannot comment on the plant as my daughter lives 300 miles away. I wont use this website again.
Dead looking plants
I spent £38 on 3 plants 2 of them look dead I would not sell them to any body until they had a bit of life in them I hope they will revive after I’ve potted them up in plant pots . Very disappointing.
At first I thought you d only sent two plants because one of them was so small .if I’d have come across them at the local garden centre I would have expected them to be in the reduced section .Not happen probably won’t use again . Delivery was ok as was the packing .
