occasion wear -green dress
I had a great experience in store recently. I bought a lovely dress for my friends wedding. It was only days away and I left it quire late so as you can imagine I was stressed. however Patrizia In the oxford store took care of me made me feel really welcome. she chose dresses that would suit my figure and colouring. she put my mind at ease and was so friendly it felt like going shopping with a close friend. love it. I'll definitely be back. I also ordered a top online a while back and had no problems. love phase 8. x
Dress for my 70th birthday
I was greeted by sales lady called Pam in the ilkley store who was very friendly. She gave me advice on dresses that suited me l choose a dress and was pleased with outcome . Great experience would definitely return

I have been a long standing customer of Phase Eight, going back to the 90s, as always were good quality clothes, well made; as I trained in Textile Design, I felt they were reliably good and I could trust them. However, I do feel that in the last decade they have gone down. I believe this started when the ownership changed to a large South African corporation that also own Hobbs and Whistles. Corners have obviously been cut, the online service is terrible, unreliable and poor customer service, some of the worst ever encountered. If I want Phase Eight items, I now order via John Lewis, who get the item to me within a week with no hiccups. However, I have to say that ordering any Phase Eight item is now seldom, I believe the quality has gone down, the sizing is all over the place and the styling is quite old fashioned, even for those of us in our sixties, I don't want frumpy, flowery or horrible polyester at what are now quite inflated prices. I am so sorry to see this happen, but feel they have really lost their way and no longer know where they are going style or quality wise or how to get it to the customer, so that they feel efficiently and fairly dealt with - owners please take note, or you will go the way of Debenhams
Emerald Green Bag and Shoes
I needed a bag and shoes to go with a dress for Ascot Ladies Day on 17th June. Found both on the Phase Eight Website on Friday 11th June, ordered, and chose courier 24 hour delivery. Heard nothing until Tuesday 15th when an email was sent saying the shoes had been cancelled "This may be because we're out of stock. . . . and several other reasons. Don't THEY know why they were cancelled?! Also on Tuesday I got an email apologising that the bag had been delayed and saying they'd refunded the cost of speedy delivery. Later the same day another email said the bag had now been sent and included a tracking link which would work the following day. Wednesday morning I pressed the link and the courier had marked it UNDELIVERABLE as they hadn't received it at 6.18 in the morning! Wrote to Phase Eight asking what was happening and got an automated response with a few FAQs about delivery, saying if this didn't help then I was to write again and they'd try to respond within two working days!!!!!!!!! Absolutely useless service!!!!!!!

I had a bad experience with this company. I have placed few orders with them. When i have received first order the item was in very bad condition, i couldn’t believe my eyes. The second order was cancelled after 5 days, when i was expecting item to arrive. As after 5 days they have realised that this item out of stock. This company take too long to process the orders and the quality of the service is very poor.
