Rang 247 yesterday as tenant had no heating asked for engineer to ring ME so I could attend , didn't,went to property and said there was a leak and turned off the boiler. Rang 247 to get contact details for engineer to find out whats going on and was refused saying they had to wait for the report.
So now I have an irate tenant with no heat or water.
I requested a boiler service Tuesday last week and I was told that an engineer will call me within a week. Today is Wednesday and I have not received any call regarding my boiler service. I have the feeling that what the company promised is too good to be true.

I found signing up for a policy with 247 Home Rescue easy and straight forward.
Come the day you need to use the policy you find out what sort of company they really are! They always try to find a way out, had the experience once and thought it was a one off! It is like most insurance policies/service contracts you don't know how good they are until you need to make a claim!!!
Having spoken to a number of engineers who no longer work for this company they are are less than surprised by my experience!
I can also confirm even though they have stated they have tried to contact me with regard to my complaint in a previous standard response they most definitely haven't! Says it all really.
Good luck if you have just taken out a contract you'll need it!

Have A boiler service with them. Last week i called for an engineer to come look at my programmer as knob had become too big for the prong that fits inside. They made me pay an excess of £95 only for the engineer to turn up and tell me I needed a new programmer that I’d have to pay for. He used a pliers to turn the prong to set the heating but I realised after he left that the settings were wrong. He said the office would call and arrange for a replacement programmer.
Nobody rung afterwards and when I called them on Monday 9th August I was told nobody rung because the engineer marked the job as ”complete”. I asked to speak to a manger and a guy called Lucas calling himself manager rung me. Told me they wouldn’t fix or replace the programmer because that is not covered on the policy. I asked why they charged me £95 excess and send an engineer out he said he would listen to the conversation and get back to me. It has been 4 days he has not rung. In my annoyance i tried to cancel the policy and was put to one guy called Anas who also said he would get back to me after 24 hours but he hasn’t rung either. I have managed to fix the knob myself using pliers after also getting my neighbour plumber to pop over which was ridiculous considering I’d been made to pay for an engineer to come out . I would like a refund and the degree of incompetence at every level has been unprofessional, shocking and disgusting. If the programmer was not covered there was no need for me to be charged the excess and for the engineer to come out. I was also told I cannot cancel the policy as it is due to expire next month. This is my second negreview for these people and I’d never join this company again!!!
I took a policy with 24/7 in feb 2020 I call the to repair my boiler I was told I should called the 5day a go on day 1 now I have to pay £75 call out charge and £240 if I want to cancel my policy I have till feb 2021 £ 14 a month to pay i never made a claim this was first time I made a claim I never had any paper work sent to me but they said
thay have emailed me pls be careful don't trust this company sales people are very nice give you every thing on the phone. I will Never advise any one to use the company 24/7 Home Rescue. Avoid Avoid this company.

Out and service the boiler at the same time. Said the issue was down to the shower mixer valve. Got a second opinion and it’s not the valve at all...now they want a full scale report from the second opinion before they can action the issue! Staff really unhelpful and not willing to send another engineer out when the issues still persist! Cowboys, honestly!! I may not be a boiler engineer but I know low pressure isn’t the mixer value! Oh but the service passed- a service which took all of 20 mins! Stay clear- buy cheap buy twice! Best sticking with the more reputable companies!

Wait until you need them to repair anything. They are a nightmare. Change to a new company now. I too am a landlord and would have said the same as you until recently no how water for over a week and want £200 to come back out as first repair didn’t work. You will be sorry if you don’t change now

I have recently taken out the home cover and when i logged a claim for my radiator not working i was informed that the radiators are not covered only the heating system which is not mentioned anywhere on the policy documents i was provided. My policy also covers for pest control i have an issue with birds in the attic so as the claim information clearly states "flapping sounds can indicate birds have nested in your attic, birds will be most active in the early morning. Bird can cause heavy damage to your property and must be dealt with swiftly" so i made a claim to be told birds are not covered - when i informed the adviser of the above text on the app he said it should not be there and he will speak to the technical team to remove!!!!. due to the incompetency of the advisers and the waiting time in between that was required form the advisers to check information with both claims i called the retention team to cancel the policy . Mr Salman asked me to take a screen shot of the wording on the app for the pest control claim as he also was not aware of the information being provided to customers when making the claim. I informed him he should know his product and should consider downloading the app as a sales representative he should be aware of his product; he told me he didn't appreciate my sarcastic!!!! i was absolutely astounded with his tone and rude mannerism. He made no actions to try and resolve my concern or to keep the business. I am awaiting a call back from a manager which i was informed will be in the next 24 - 48 hrs!!! again very poor standards. This company is definitely a sham and I will be making an official complaint and cancelling my policy. I urge all to be aware.

Very Competitive pricing, my boiler comes up with annual service which is really good. I switched over to them recently and so far experience is really good. 10/10 for their customer services.

These guys are a massive support. We found our boiler is badly broken and BER. They helped us installing a new boiler on fantastic cost. Guy who installed it was very professional. He left the place up and running, neat and tidy! Thumbs up to whole team
