Language learning platform switch
I've recently switched from having one-to-one online language lessons to using this language learning platform, and it's made a big difference. The material on the platform is really interesting and interactive, which has made it much easier for me to understand tricky language ideas. The lessons are well organised and have really helped me to get better at the language. The platform is easy to use and navigate, so I can just concentrate on learning without any hassle. All in all, I've had a great experience with this language learning platform and I would definitely suggest it to anyone wanting to improve their language skills.
Language learning app for adults and kids
The language learning app is brilliant for adults and kids alike. I've been using it to pick up Croatian, and my son, born in Croatia, is using it to learn Spanish. The pictures are interesting, the lessons are well organised, and there's plenty of material to keep us interested. But what really makes this app stand out is the amazing customer service. Efrain from the customer support team really went the extra mile to help me with my account, showing patience and attention to detail all the way. I would definitely suggest Mondly to anyone wanting to improve their language skills and broaden their horizons.
Language learning app after completing Duolingo
I've recently started using a language learning app after finishing all the lessons on Duolingo in German. I like how this new app has endless lessons so I can keep improving my language skills over time. However, I have to say that the Duolingo interface was much easier to use compared to this app. One downside of this app is that in some lessons you have to click on every letter of a word instead of typing it out for the program to recognise automatically, which really slows down the learning process. But even with this drawback, I'm glad to have this app as another resource to help me learn languages.
Language learning programme
The customer service from this language learning programme is really top-notch. It's super helpful for folks wanting to boost their language skills, giving a clear sense of moving forward. But, I think the speed can get a bit too quick sometimes, and a bit more practice would be good, especially for newbies. Even with that, I really rate the programme and the work that's gone into it. I'd also recommend thinking about adding Swahili, since it's one of the most widely spoken languages in Africa.
Annual subscription renewal issue
I signed up for a yearly subscription with Mondly but was let down by the app. Even though I turned off the automatic renewal, they still charged me for another year without asking me. When I contacted customer support, they wouldn't give me a refund and only suggested a discount on a lifetime plan, which I'm not interested in. It's really annoying and makes me doubt their trustworthiness. I'd suggest others to be cautious when dealing with their subscription payments.
Subscription renewal issue
I had a bit of trouble getting into my account once I renewed my subscription. I decided to send an email to customer service for help, and Efrain got back to me quickly with simple steps that fixed the problem right away. The customer service was top-notch, being both quick and helpful.
Mondly app for learning Farsi
I've been using the Mondly app to learn Farsi for a while now, and I've come across a few things that bother me. Firstly, some sentences have prepositions that are said aloud but not written down. Secondly, when I write words in Arabic letters, the letters aren't connected as they should be. Lastly, the speaking exercises are tough because I often find it hard to pronounce correctly and get a good score. Overall, I do think the app is useful for learning Farsi, but these issues can be frustrating.
Language learning app
I've been using this language learning app for a while now and I must say, it's been quite enjoyable. The interface looks really good, the content is helpful, and I can see myself getting better at the language. I started off as a complete beginner but now I feel more confident, thanks to this app. The customer support team has been great whenever I needed help, which is always a good thing. All in all, I'd say my experience with this app has been pretty decent.
Language learning app
The language learning app has a great variety of languages to choose from, and it includes helpful vocabulary that you might not find in other language apps. It also has some really cool features and tools that make learning more enjoyable. The design of the app could be better, but the content is excellent for improving your language skills. I would definitely suggest this app to anyone wanting to learn practical vocabulary for their desired language.
My mum got me this language app to help me with my Spanish lessons.
This language app is proper cool innit! The games and activities make learning a right laugh and dead easy. The lessons are dead clear and the voice recognition is proper helpful. I can practice speaking and listening without feeling embarrassed in front of my classmates. Thanks to this app, I'm getting better at Spanish every day! Cheers!
Monthly access purchase
I should have checked the reviews before I bought the monthly access, assuming it was just for one month. Suddenly, I got an email reminding me about the renewal and realised that cancelling the subscription was not an option. It's annoying that there's no way to cancel it on the website or app. It seems like a bit of a con to cash in on people's mistakes. It's really disheartening and not right to keep customers stuck in a subscription they didn't mean to sign up for.
Subscription issue
So, I had a bit of an issue with my subscription, you know? But then this awesome person called Ioana in the chat totally sorted me out super fast. She was really great at her job and super friendly as well! Honestly, it was probably the best customer service experience I've had in ages!!! I would definitely recommend them.
Language learning course review
I thought that the language learning course was really tough, especially for people just starting out like me. The lessons didn't really explain mistakes very well and didn't do a good job of teaching grammar. On top of that, the course was quite pricey and might not be doable for some people, like students. The pronunciation help wasn't as good or thorough as I expected either.
Terrible Mandarin learning experience
I enrolled in some Mandarin language classes and honestly, I was really let down by the stuff they were teaching. It seemed like it was made for people who speak Indo-European languages, and didn't go into enough detail. On top of that, the customer service wasn't much help at all. It took ages for me to even ask for my money back, and even longer to actually get it back. All in all, it was a really bad experience.
Monthly subscription, misleading renewal terms
I must admit, I messed up by buying the monthly access without properly checking the renewal terms. That was on me. But it's really frustrating that there isn't a simple way to cancel the subscription. It seems like they are trying to sneakily keep charging customers without their knowledge. This kind of behaviour is just not right - it's deceitful and leaves a sour taste. If there was a clear and easy way to cancel, I would have been happy with the service overall. But the lack of honesty and the hassle in cancelling has left me feeling annoyed and tricked.
Greek and Albanian language lessons
I was really looking forward to learning Greek and Albanian on this app because I'm currently in Greece for a few months and then I'll be heading to Albania! However, I was disappointed to find out that despite paying a lot of money for it, all I can learn on this app is Chinese and Spanish. I've tried reaching out to them via email for assistance, but all I received were automated responses. It's frustrating that they seem completely unhelpful and show no concern for their customers!
Disappointing experience after 320 days
After using the app for 320 days, the daily lessons just suddenly stopped working and other features were failing too. The speech recognition wasn't working properly after just a few weeks in. So, I've cancelled my subscription today because I'm really disappointed with it all.
Language learning comparison
Personally, I reckon using this platform is tougher compared to the basic one I like. I reckon Duolingo is a superior choice as it's easier to use and more efficient. I'd be grateful if this platform could be taken down as it's not helpful in the slightest.
Cancelled premium subscription
I had a really good premium subscription, you know? And then it got cancelled by mistake! Oh no, such a shame, isn't it? But you know what? The customer service folks were really great about it. I just sent them an email and bam, issue sorted. They sorted everything out really fast and I was back on track in no time.
