I got a short term policy for going abroad
I got this insurance for my trip to Europe, right? But then my car broke down! So, I rang them up and they reassured me that I was covered. However, they later changed their tune and said I didn't inform them about the trip so I wasn't eligible for assistance! Can you believe it? I was stranded on a motorway in a foreign country with no support. It's been ages now and I still haven't heard back from them. Such a complete scam!

My experience with this company has been totally frustrating. I tried to claim for my gadget recently, and the whole process has been a complete nightmare. It was really hard to even get hold of the claims team because there's no phone number, and they kept asking for things like police reports that don't even exist, and they wanted to blacklist my phone even though other good companies said not to. They even wanted me to get a loss report, and pay for it myself. In the end, they only offered me £75 for my really expensive phone, which is just not on. Honestly, I think this company is a total scam and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
