    Shocking dont do it

    I am angry and annoyed with this company as well. I do not believe the "positive" reviews on this site regarding them. Funny how so many people suddenly sign up on a daily basis. It is all most like they put on positive reviews to cancel out the negative. I have read on other forums and on this one about taking legal action. At first I was not sure, but upon research and the fact I am up at 12:45am being angry with this con of a company i believe I shall be going down the legal route. Along with the person who put a review up about legal action which seems to have got lost. I was also told the following You own the equipment even after you cancel I did not want the "Fog Bomb/ZeroVision smoke barrier" as I do not see the point and secondly I have a health condition which i told the engineer, but he still installed it!!! I told him to take it down and he said "it is free just try it for 6months then they take it back for free at no charge" The engineer did not know how to install the product (stick on) he had to come back the next day with another engineer. I have a "spanish" box with spanish instructions which looks 2nd hand no where does it say in my contract I have to give notice to cancel. I am done with this company. It is not the price I am angry with it is the lies and the rude arrogant customer service. Been two weeks and I have not heard back from them regarding my complaint. They said they have emailed the "engineers" and will get back to be. I know for a fact they have not emailed the "Engineers" When I phoned up to complain but also to resolve the issue. I was jsut shouted at with: "Read the contract, read the contact, read the contract..." Everytime I tried to speak. 2nd time I called I got told the same thing, I then said I have it... and the chap I spoke to was saying somthing completly different to what was on my contract. When I said send me the contract you have he kept dodging the question, When I asked to be put through to the engineer/engineers manager he could not do it. Claimed he emailed them... How can you trust these people when the customer service is really bad, and the engineers are just as bad. They basically sublet the installation to cowboys. Editionally when you check the police/NSI Gold Registered. Verisure are not on there... Worst mistake I did was choose this company. like i said it is the lieing that has really got to me. I could have paid half the price to set up my own system and qualter the price to have it monitored. But it is the lieing and bad customer service. I really wanted to come to a mutual agreement. Also reading reviews that monthly prices rise up and up. The engineer did cocky say after he left they may do that... This is all miss selling. if this is not resolved after I call tomorrow then I am also going down the legal route as well. Judging from over reviews it looks like its hitting a brick wall trying to get any help from Verisure. The staff probably get treated like rubbish which in turn breeds this toxic sales/customer service environment. Seems all to "smash and grab" take youre money and run.

    Verisure enjoy smuthering any negative feedback with glowing what appears to be fake reviews. Why not make your customers genuinely happy instead of faking it...

    Home and business

    Amazing system, worked well when I was broken into a few weeks back actually got them out and protected my wife as I was away with work. I could not recommend highly enough worth every penny, there is something you can’t replace in this world and this protects them. Thank you!

    Smart Alarm

    Very good alarm system for my property, very well explained I have not had any of the problems I have seen on here. I am not contracted I have asked and can cancel any time and have a normal alarm after. Very good company no other comes close to the protection I have at my home

    I too was told the following:
    1. You own all the equipment
    2. The “fog” is free for 6 months, you can then have it taken out free of charge and carry on paying a flat rate of 29.99
    3. I too was told you can cancel the contract anytime with no obligation and no cost involved. You keep the system.
    4. I was also told there is no exit fees (leading from the last point)

    This company lies and sells lies. The support is rubbish when calling up to complain you just get a wall of abuse back.
    So I say lets stand together I am happy to take your accounts and experiences and show this to my legal team. I shall also be contacting the consumer WatchDog and Offcom.

    Email me your details united we shall show this company for what they are.
    A few things:

    1. I do not need to know you’re address. Just an email is fine with details of how you have been misled
    2. I will not be opening attachments or clicking on links (so please do not send these).

    Quick to arrive,lie,sell and even install same day. Price goes from £800 to ,£600,£400 ok buy it now and it's £150!!! Picture the number of vulnerable people who paid £800 or more. Picture the pressure they put you under. Now look at verisure website sale on every day sign up today and get £450 off £400 off the tale and saga goes on........ Alarm devices I heard stuck on stuck on with a sticky pad..lol..... Salespeople are the engineers.. all so you don't cancel what business can sell and install same day or next day..I'll tell you a business with no planning . All got sucked in......

    Verisure Smart Alarms at home

    I am really disappointed with Verisure. I paid £299 + VAT to install the system. it's working fine. I was told I can give only 90 days notice. in June 2020 I gave them 90 days notice. I was told that someone will ring me to confirm. I received a call and I was told ok everything is in order and your last payment should be September 2020. I rang them in September and was told that I have to wait for someone to call me and again they want me to pay for 3 months which I cannot afford. Customer service are no good at all. They are only interested in getting new business but not if you want to cancel. they keep putting you off. I rang few times but every time they give me new excuses. I am fed up and really don't know what to do as I am disabled person and am on critical list.

    Verisure Alarm System

    Our three year contract ended in June 2020. Due to Covid19, and being home bound, we decided this expensive security system was not value for money. Requests to terminate our contract, on phone and emails on several occasions was completely ignored. Eventually their engineer attended to dismantle the alarm system in September. Now, they are claiming payment for the service until the date of dismantling. Their a Customer Services and Finance Department don’t seem to be working in conjunction! You have been warned!

    This company is a scaremongering joke! I live on a newly-built estate in Liverpool. Weeks after we moved in, everyone on the estate received a letter through the post (that looked as though it was written by a toddler) claiming that 3 houses had been burgled on the estate in ONE NIGHT. Neighbors, the housing developers and the Police confirmed this was false.
    Then, months later, a man with grey hair was caught checking car doors all over the estate in the middle of the night. He then ransacked and made a mess of every car that was unlocked. Almost immediately afterwards, a man with grey hair appears everyday on the estate in a Verisure car and knocks on everybodys door trying to sell them alarms. He even mentions that 'there have been reports of thefts from cars' when it was almost certainly him or an accomplice to try and scare everyone into getting an alarm.
    Sadly, a lot of people have fell for this ploy and it sickens me. I hope the Police investigate this and I hope everybody on this estate finds out about this. DO NOT BUY WITH THEM!

    Verisure Alarm

    A postman knocking the door should not trigger an alarm, but this was the case of Verisure alarms, anytime our post man knocks at the door, the alarm goes off, and to make matters worse, when we are out and about, we don't receive notification at the time the alarm goes off,

    I contacted the customer services who showed no understanding or sympathy on this situation.

    When we went out as a family today, we had to turn off the alarm because we know that a knock on the door would trigger a false alarm and there will be no one in the house to switch it off plus the fact that we would not be notified at the time of the trigger. The whole purpose of having an alarm is defeated.

    I requested a cancellation and I was told i had to wait 14days.

    They are quick to install the alarm and collected £397.99 up front, with further monthly cost, but now we are faced with this situation, requested a cancellation and we now have to wait 14days.

    Customer services should not only be about sales and quick collection of money. Customer services should also be about quick response and support in situations like this, when the customer is unhappy and has requested for a cancellation.

    house system

    i have trying to get through to customer services for 2 days , i am fed up listening to crapp music down the phone , i will stop bank payments to this company and cance the contract due to poor performance

    Same thing happened to me. They are slow to respond, if at all for requests of cancellation of contract even after the end of a three year contract. I stopped the direct debit payments to get their attention.

    I tried to contact verisure on Saturday 10.10.20 i held on phone for 30mins and no response. The key-fobs- or panel is not working, so i am unable to cancel siren when i opened exi door. I was then contacted by the centre to inform me of sounding alarm and pass me through to their technical dept. The service to equipment wascarried out three days before. At the time of writing I have been left holding forty minutes/ 40mins then the phone cut off with engaged tone. I am now unable to set or cancel the system however; I shall cancel my direct debit as the above is only a small portion of their extremely poor service.

    Home alarm

    This system was purchased as a gift by my nephew for his grandad. After he had difficulties paying them due to having to leave his job to be his partners full time carer I requested every month from December that the company cancel the contract and remove the system. They still keep charging and refuse to deal with the requests. The only time they actually talk is to say they want money as the account is now in arrears. they are threatening with a debt collection agency. I would never deal with this company again. And if they try to collect money they will have a legal battle ahead of them.

    Smoke alarm system

    JUST BE VERY AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!

    They cold call you to sell the system, Tell you you have no contract and can cancel at any time, but for get to tell you the cancellation period is 6 months minimum, which turns out to be 7 months because they don't get back to you for a month. They promise police call out, but are not even NACOSS approved so I do not know how they can promise that. System fitted by sales men, and are just static cameras. Told me the smoke would fill my unit in 6 seconds when there is not enough smoke to fill the unit in 6 hours.
    Charge more than agreed, sign you up on an Ipad so you don't see the contract, your signing,so do not believe a word the salesman say. Use them at your own peril. Read everything believe nothing

    Gave a secure feeling when working

    Very easy and secure system, but alarm went off early hours of morning, due to faulty part,. There was no response from company, and although I tried to contact the Company for over 6 minutes, at 02:30 AM, I could not get a response.
    After an email, I was contacted by phone, only to be told, when I tried to cancel because of their broken contract, that I was being charged to the end of the contract.
    I am now awaiting them to collect their alarm, that is not working.

    Home Alarm System

    Beware!! Brilliant Sales pitch but as with most companies of this nature fail to advise the small print. Basically had to move house very soon after installation and new house had integrated alarm system so no longer needed. Verisure picked up alarms and sensors, over half still brand new as they had not been installed, chased in May 2018 to advise in this instance was cancellation fee relevant, no one came back. January 2019 chased again still no confirmation. August 2019 received 2 debt recovery letters threatening legal action. Phoned Verisure and can't provide evidence that they had confirmed cancellation fee and keep referring to debt collectors. Bad experience, unprofessional and READ their small print on their contract.
