happy experience shopping with Wilfred
I drive to work daily or sometimes uses the cab which has become boring and stressful. I have been told about using a train as a means of relaxation and fun but I have always kicked against it. The thought of me using a train gives me goosebumps. Sometimes I wish to try using the train though just for fun but I didn't know how to do it not until I overheard some people talking about Caledonian Sleeper a nightly train service company. I signed up for their services and the experience was bliss. The journey was unwinding, relaxing and magical. They also offer food and drinks so you don't have to worry about getting hungry. I will always sign up for their service. I recommend Caledonian Sleepers for all those who want to have a train experience of a life time.
Train journey
I recently took a train journey from Scotland to England and it was brilliant! The sleeper beds were really comfortable, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast, had a great night's sleep, and even had my own shower and toilet. Overall, it was a super fun experience and I would definitely do it again. My only small suggestion would be that they should remove the ladder if you're travelling alone. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and the train itself was well-kept and tidy.
Overnight train journey London to Scotland
I had a fantastic overnight train trip from London to Scotland recently. The train was on time, the sleeper carriage was really comfy with all the things you need, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food in the club coach was top-notch. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it for a special treat or a quick getaway. I'd definitely suggest giving this train service a go if you want a special and unforgettable journey.
Overnight train journey experience
My first time on an overnight train was really good. The staff were all so nice and made me feel really welcome and looked after. The bed in the sleeper carriage was surprisingly comfy, and I managed to get a decent night's sleep without any interruptions. The shower facilities were better than I thought they'd be, and it was nice to freshen up before we got to where we were going.
Double room on the sleeper
I really enjoyed our trip on the sleeper train! My partner and I had a double room all to ourselves, going from London to Aberdeen. It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the privacy. The heating and air conditioning made it really comfortable, and having breakfast delivered right to our room in the morning was fantastic.

In general, my experience on the overnight train journey was rather disappointing. The seating cabin turned out to be much worse than I had imagined - it was dirty, uncomfortable, and the lighting was harsh and bright all night long. I could definitely feel the lack of fresh air circulating through the cabin, and whenever we stopped, it felt stuffy and hot inside, making it quite uncomfortable. Despite the website's claims of luxury, the actual reality was completely different. It's not an experience I would want to go through again, that's for sure.

I had such great customer service! They really went above and beyond to help me with my ticket and kept me updated on any delays on the day of my travel. The seat and cabin were so comfy and nice – even better than we expected, although it was a bit expensive for us. The trip from Edinburgh to London was really pleasant and relaxing.
Travel experience
I once went on this massive train with beds, and let me tell you, those mattresses were as comfy as a hard floor. If you're someone who needs to go to the loo often, definitely opt for the bottom bunk. The top bunk feels like attempting a gymnastics routine just to climb down the ladder. And once you're up there, forget about sitting up straight – you're basically twisting around like you're in a coffin. The ladder steps are so small that you have to wear shoes just to climb down.
Experience on Caledonian Sleeper journey
My recent trip on the Caledonian Sleeper was a bit of a letdown, to be honest. I thought I'd give the sleeper train a go for my business trip, thinking it would be a nice and easy way to travel. But, boy, was I wrong. The sleeper seat was terrible - so hard and uncomfortable. It hardly reclined at all, so I was fidgeting and adjusting the whole time, trying to get comfy. And to make matters worse, there was hardly any room for my feet and knees, making the whole night pretty uncomfortable.

The cancellation because of the "extreme weather" was so annoying - there was hardly any communication about what was going on, and it was unclear what to do with the tickets that weren't used until the next day. But, I've got to say, I was glad they tried to arrange some places to stay on the train at Euston, so at least we didn't have to try and find somewhere in zone 1. I got in touch with the guest service centre, they sorted everything out really quickly, and I got my refund without any problems.

It was really awful! The train was so noisy, the rooms were really small, and the toilets were absolutely filthy! They even ran out of water so we couldn't even flush the toilet properly! The food was terrible and all the utensils were really cheap plastic. I was really looking forward to this trip but it was a huge disappointment! The only positive thing was that the staff were kind of nice.
Experience as a disabled customer
Being a disabled customer, our train experience was far from good. Right from the beginning, we faced a bunch of problems - a wet bed in our cramped room and no way for my husband to get his wheelchair through. It was a real hassle moving five carriages down, and being stuck in our room for food and drinks just added to the inconvenience. All in all, it was a really disappointing and tough journey for us.

So, I hopped on this overnight train journey and to be honest, it was absolutely terrible. The air conditioning was on full blast all night and it was so noisy, I couldn't get any sleep. On top of that, the lights stayed on the whole time, even though they said we had individual reading lights. And let's not even get into how late the train was in both directions, with no updates for us. Some of the seats didn't even recline, can you believe that? Overall, it was just a horrific experience. My advice? Avoid it. If you're looking to save money, just take the bus instead.
Luxury reclining chair
Don't bother splashing out on that fancy reclining chair they call luxury - it's pretty much the same as the regular seats. You'll struggle to get any shut-eye in it as it only reclines a tiny bit, plus the lights stay on the whole time for "safety". It's not a great choice if you've got stuff to do in London other than nap when you arrive. I'd suggest checking out different travel choices instead.

I had a pretty comfy trip on the sleeper train, and the service was alright, but it took way too long at 12.5 hours with some really long stops. I hopped on the train at Stonehaven after a funeral in Forfar, hoping for a smooth and speedy ride to where I was going.
Expensive twin/double cabins
We spent a good amount of cash on our twin/double cabins, only to realise that we couldn't even access the lounge at one end! So there we were, stuck in Glasgow without the lounge we were promised. When we raised our concerns, they pretty much just brushed us off with a "too bad!" Not cool. To top it off, when we arrived at Euston, we had no clue where the lounge was. We were so exhausted that we just headed straight to our hotel early. The cabin itself was cramped, noisy, and not very comfy, but the staff were friendly at least. Probably wouldn't bother doing it again.
