    Large group retreat at the spa

    Me and my friends had a brilliant time at the spa for a big group retreat! Drew was absolutely fantastic and really helpful, he made sure we had all we needed and even went the extra mile to ensure we had a great visit. The spa facilities were top-notch and we had a lovely time relaxing and treating ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a fun and relaxing getaway with friends.

    Spa break gift for wife's birthday

    I treated my wife to a spa break for her birthday. We stayed at a hotel that wasn't great, but the staff at the front desk were friendly. The room we had was really small and old, so we kept rolling into the middle of the bed. The changing rooms at the spa were awful, like really dirty public toilets. The pool area floors were also dirty. Then some workmen came in with muddy boots and took over the sauna, they were loud and drunk, which made it impossible for anyone else to use. The only good thing was the food, it was delicious. Overall, it was a waste of money and spoiled my wife's birthday. I won't be going back there, and I won't recommend it to my friends.

    COVID Amendments

    My daughter and I ended up catching COVID, so we were unable to make it to the spa as planned. Luckily, we managed to get in touch with Lucia through the live chat, and she kindly assisted us in rescheduling our booking for a different date. She was really pleasant! Following that, Bianka phoned the hotel and efficiently sorted out all the details for us. Both of them were incredibly helpful and delightful - big thanks to them!!

    Birthday SPA day gift

    Oh my goodness, I received a spa day gift for my birthday and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were really friendly and professional. The food they provided was delicious, and the atmosphere was super relaxed and calming. I had a full-body massage, facial, and pedicure, and they were all amazing! I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a pampering experience!

    Birthday surprise booking cancellation

    I recently booked a surprise massage and afternoon tea for a birthday at a particular hotel, only to get a call saying they were fully booked and had to cancel. What a letdown! It was supposed to be a special treat, and now we're stuck with no other plans. The lack of thoughtfulness and lack of other options is really annoying.

    The website's venue layout was a bit tricky to get around, especially on a phone. Even though the details were clear, it was hard to see which deals each venue had. It might help to have a grid layout with titles and prices for each offer so you can compare them easily on one page before you have to scroll down. This would make it easier for customers to browse and book a spa break.

The spa itself didn't quite live up to my expectations in terms of luxury, but Barry, the staff member, was actually pretty cool and took the time to listen to my feedback. I reckon I might consider giving them another shot down the line.

    Itā€™s NO stars from us! Voucher they wonā€™t honour

    My colleague received a voucher from her child who had saved ... minimum wage to give her the gift. 3 months later covid struck and she was unable to use the voucher for almost all of the 12 months it was valid for. As spas began to open up one of her partner became seriously ill which was a great worry and she had to shield him. In her distress she did ask and was told that due to the pandemic the company can extend the voucher for another year. We, her colleagues have tried to book a works spa experience and chose SpaBreaks.com to make the group booking so we could deduct her Ā£30 voucher from her full payment. The voucher isnā€™t valid at all it seems! We have telephoned to speak on the subject but got nowhere, we have emailed the voucher department to stress that she had no way of using it due to government restrictions for at least 9 months of the voucher time. That her husband was so ill she hadnā€™t realised she had to get her voucher extension on paper. If she had done she could have used it. I am sad that they canā€™t make a good will gesture.
    Itā€™s a shame as as a works group we are so cross we have decided to avoid SpaBreaks.com from now on and cannot recommend them, in fact I would warn people that they seem to have no empathy at all.
