    Corporate traveller, frequent guest

    As someone who travels a lot for work, I've stayed in many different hotels, some really fancy and some pretty awful. I have to say, Point A Hotels have really nailed it when it comes to offering a great mix of value and comfort. This is actually my fourth time staying here in the last few months, and every time I'm impressed by how clean, comfortable, and affordable the rooms are. They might be on the smaller side, but they're perfect for a good night's sleep. The fact that I can stay here more often because of the reasonable prices is a big bonus for me, especially with my hectic schedule.

    Emergency situation during stay

    When my daughter collapsed on the first day of our hotel stay, the staff quickly called an ambulance and made sure our room was secure while we figured out our next steps. We ended up staying an extra two days, and it was a huge relief to know we had a safe place to come back to after the hospital visits. The staff were really supportive, checking in on my daughter, arranging taxis, and offering kind words during such a challenging time. This hotel isn't just well-managed, but also shows that human touch that really helped make a tough situation a bit easier to handle.

    Stayed for gig in city

    I booked last minute because the hotel was close to the train station and the price was affordable. The staff were really friendly when I arrived. My room didn't have a window but it was clean and had good amenities, including a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a great shower and lots of fluffy towels. I decided to pay for breakfast and it was delicious and definitely worth the price. The only issue was that the room was too hot, but the air conditioning worked well and wasn't too noisy. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here for a good price.

    Hotela stay - Disappointing room

    My time at the hotel was a letdown. The room they gave me was super small and didn't have all the things you'd expect. No window, hardly any room for my stuff, and just those flimsy plastic shelves. And on top of that, the fan wasn't working right, so the place felt really stuffy. My daughter said it was like being in a coffin, so we decided to leave right away and find another hotel. It was a terrible experience overall, so I'd say you should avoid staying at that place.

    Glasgow night out

    My family and I had a fantastic night out in Glasgow recently. We had dinner at a lovely restaurant, went to the theatre, and stayed at a nice hotel. The hotel we chose was really clean and the beds were super comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast - it was top-notch. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We all had a great time there and I wouldn't think twice about recommending it to anyone I know.

    Great customer service experience

    I had a really good experience with a staff member at the hotel recently. Emma, the lovely staff member, was amazing. She went out of her way to help us with our luggage even after we had checked out. She was very helpful and kind, making sure our request was dealt with quickly. The service at this hotel is excellent, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice stay.

    Stay at trendy hotel

    I had an amazing time at this cool hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. The rooms were comfy and not too expensive. I wasn't going to have breakfast but I'm really pleased I did - it was really good. They even gave us a free coffee while we were waiting at reception. It's definitely one of my favourite hotels now.

    Overpriced, cramped, airless and windowless hotel room

    I stayed at this hotel recently and honestly, it was not great. The room was tiny and felt really stuffy, almost like being in a prison cell! There was no window so it was really dark and I struggled to even catch a breath. The facilities were basic, I mean, where was the TV? And let's not even talk about the price, way too high for what you actually get. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

    Stay at Kings Cross Hotels

    The check-in process went well, and the hosts were really nice and friendly. But, I was really let down by how clean the hotel room was. My sister had an unexpected problem which meant we had to change the sheets, but we couldn't do it ourselves. Then, on our last day there, I saw that my side of the sheet was full of old urine stains, hidden under the pillow. It was disgusting to find out and made me wonder about how clean the hotel really is. I'm sorry to say, I wouldn't suggest staying at Kings Cross Hotels unless you're okay with dirty bed linen.

    Small room, no window, limited breakfast

    The room I stayed in was so tiny, like a cupboard, and there weren't any windows which made it feel really cramped and stuffy. The bed sheets were all stained, and the pillow had this weird smell to it. And let me tell you, the breakfast choices were a joke - they were serving up cold, overcooked eggs. I was first given a room in the basement with no windows, but when I asked for a change, I got moved to a teeny tiny room on the first floor by the lift. And when I tried to get a bigger room with a window, they said nope, those rooms were only for people staying more than one night. Overall, it was a pretty rubbish experience and I definitely won't be going back to that hotel again.

    Disappointing stay

    I stayed at this hotel the other day and it was really not up to scratch. The room was tiny, barely enough space for a double bed squished up against the wall which was hard to get in and out of. The mattress was all lumpy too, just made it worse. When we asked for more pillows on the second night, they first said they had none, which was a bit annoying. Luckily, when we asked someone else, they got us the pillows straight away. It was a shame how inconsistent the service was there.

    I stayed at the hotel for a business trip and I have to say I was really let down by the size of the room they gave me. I paid £225 a night and the room was so small, it just wasn't worth it. I used to stay at this hotel a lot for work when the rates were cheaper, but now they've more than doubled the price which I think is a bit much.

    Booking website dysfunction

    The booking website for this place is just not working properly. It seems like this problem has been going on for a while now, and it's not clear if it's on purpose or if they just haven't fixed it. It's really disappointing that the staff either don't know how to fix it or don't want to. Because of this issue, they've probably missed out on loads of bookings.

    Stay experience

    My stay at this hotel was terrible, really. Stayed for 4 nights and when I got home, I found insect bites all over my body. I contacted customer service, sent them pics of the bites hoping for a solution. But, they seem to have ignored me completely. To top it off, they've been deleting my comments on social media and removing my Google reviews. It feels like they're trying to hide the problem and act like it never occurred. So frustrating to be treated like this after having such a bad experience.

    Booking issue

    I booked to stay at Point A Hotels for an event that ended up being cancelled. I got in touch with the hotel to see about changing the date of my booking, and they said I could do it without any extra costs. So, I went ahead and changed the booking, only to realise later on that they'd actually charged me for both the original booking and the new one. It was really disappointing and felt like a dishonest experience.

    Hotel stay experience

    My recent stay at the hotel was a bit of a letdown. Even though the rooms were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly, there were a few things that were a bit off-putting. Firstly, the lack of a proper breakfast was disappointing as we were only given a voucher for a nearby cafe. Also, the closure of the stairs meant we had to keep using the small lifts which was a pain. The false fire alarms, especially the one in the early hours, were really unsettling. Plus, it was frustrating that the staff couldn't help us extend our stay and told us to do it online because we booked through a third-party. But the worst part was being charged twice for our stay, even though we had proof of payment. Sorting it out with the third-party service was more hassle than we expected.
