    Claimed for the first time

    I made a claim for the first time this week and I have to say, I've been really impressed with how quick and efficient the service has been. After I submitted my claim, they got in touch via email asking for proof of purchase, which I sent over without any issues. The next day, I got another email explaining what happens next. I also had to have a chat with someone on the phone to pay the excess, and she was so helpful and patient, especially when I had some trouble removing my phone from iCloud - totally my fault! The whole claim process has been really smooth and hassle-free so far, and my phone has already been sent off for repair. Fingers crossed the repair goes as smoothly as the claim process. All in all, I'm really happy with the service I've received and I'll definitely be recommending it to others.

    Hi, I am Harris Willson. I bought an insurance policy cover from gadget cover and it's amazing! I looked for several policies for my iPhone but didn't found anything that can suit my budget and requirement. The gadget cover is quite good as they offer services that are not only for saving me from wasting my huge bucks on my iPhone but also they assure to offer services within 24 hours if my iPhone gets lost or even stolen. They cover all losses and damages that I face during losing my iPhone.
    Apart from this, the whole process is easy and simple without wasting time or anything else. Not only that, I can contact them and get my work done. Also, I think, it's my best policy I ever have for my device and I must recommend everyone to try this ! at least for once!!

    Lost phone insurance claim

    I recently had to claim for a lost phone with Gadget Cover and I wanted to share my positive experience. I lost my phone on Friday 10/09 and I reported it to Gadget Cover on the same day. They got back to me quickly, asking for proof of purchase, which I eventually got from Vodafone after a bit of a delay on their part. Once I sent the proof on 14/09, Direct Group got in touch straight away to sort out my excess. I was really impressed when the iPhone arrived at my door just two days later on 16/09, all within a 48-hour window from sending in the proof. In general, I thought their service was quick and reliable, giving me a swift resolution to my claim.

Then, on Monday morning, I decided to contact them straight away. I was pleasantly surprised when they quickly dealt with my claim and sent me a replacement phone.     Lost phone claim

    My husband's phone got nicked while we were on our hols, and we sent off all the bits and bobs needed for the claim. But, it's been a whopping 8 weeks now and we're still twiddling our thumbs waiting for it to get sorted. This hold-up has meant my husband missing out on some bang-up business chances because he can't get into his WhatsApp on a dodgy temporary non-Apple gadget. Right now, I'm in my second hour of being stuck on hold, trying to get through to customer service. It's proper aggravating, to be honest.

    Recently, I bought insurance for my iPhone and had a chat with a lovely customer service rep from the company called Beth. Beth was so helpful, informative, and really patient with me. She not only sorted out my current insurance, but also talked through some potential options for insuring a new Apple MacBook Air I might get later on. Beth even took the time to go on the company website with me to explain all the different coverage plans and costs in detail. I was really impressed with how dedicated she was to helping me find the right insurance for my gadgets.

    I really need to emphasise this - please be very cautious and avoid this insurance company at all costs. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous, I'd rather pay for someone else's insurance than have to deal with Gadget Cover again. They are hands down the worst in the business, and I don't mean to offend anyone by saying that. You'd honestly have a better time getting assistance at a petrol station - that's how bad it is. My experience with them was so awful that I felt I had to write this review to warn others. So, please, do yourself a favour and seek insurance coverage elsewhere.

    iPad Air insurance purchase

    I recently bought insurance from this company for my iPad Air after checking out prices from other providers. The initial price seemed fair, but I was a bit disappointed when I found out about the £75 excess fee, which seems to be pretty standard with insurance companies. Despite that, I went with this company because of their 5-star rating, even though there was a slightly cheaper option available. I made the payment through PayPal, but I didn't get confirmation from Gadget Cover until the next morning at 9 a.m. This made me a bit unsure if my cover was actually in place, especially since PayPal had already confirmed the payment. So far, the service has been okay, and I'm hoping it gets better in the future. Fingers crossed I won't need to make a claim anytime soon.

    I recently tried to make a claim on my policy, but it was denied because the proof of purchase was in my ex-wife's name, not mine. This has left me feeling frustrated and out of pocket. I've been waiting on hold for over an hour several times, just to hear the same irritating recorded message. It's really annoying to think that I've been paying for their services for the last 2 years, only to get this kind of service when I really need help with a claim.     I made a claim for my mobile phone insurance not long ago, and I've been really let down by how slow they've been in dealing with it.     Mobile phone insurance pitfalls

    This insurance company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Making a claim feels like they're grilling you for every little detail imaginable. They want to know when you last used your phone, what you were up to during the accident, who had your phone, the last day it was used, the last number called, where you were at the time of the accident, and more. If you can't prove you purchased the phone, they won't even listen to your claim, even if you can prove you own it and have receipts. Despite paying premiums for four years, they rejected my claim without a decent explanation. It's now clear to me that this company is a scam filled with dodgy people. I recommend steering clear of them. After checking out some reviews, it looks like they make it so complicated and expensive to get any benefits that it's easier to just get your phone fixed at a shop. Definitely a scam, avoid them at all costs.
