Car rental
Intentionally dishonest. Never even knew I was dealing with them, as they snuck in through the back door once I booked on Skyscanner. Never sent me a confirmation email and added about £70 on the price I agreed on Skyscanner but only knew when I picked the car up and then it was too late.

Normally, when the customer does not receive this document, it is because the email was entered incorrectly.

This message to the public, I want to advise you before you book with Discover Cars, I have booked a trip to Saint Maarten I had paid before I flew when I arrived at the supplier, he said that the card machine was not working and he would not accept AMEX, and he stated that is not my problem and the refund will be back to me within 2 weeks from discover cars as he will inform them I have been trying now to get my refund for 2 months and the customer service is very rude, and they never answer the phone think twice before you book with this company or simply look for the supplier for the country you travel too more cheep I find, and you do not have to pay before you arrive any way this didn't wait at the airport as I requested after long phone calls with both the company and the supplier they send me someone to pick me up with other people to go to the office.

If the customer decides to book directly with the provider, they will only receive a quote from one company.

I have a "small letters" trap that will allow DscoverCar to avoid reimbursement of damages.
There is 28 day time limit for reimbursement claim after the car return. This is shorter than what most rental companies will provide charge request if you were misfortune to have a damage to the car.
I purchased the "Full Coverage" and had an accident which the rental car company provided the claim after 30 days. DicoverCard did not cover it, based on a paragraph in the terms that says that claims must be placed 28 days after the car return, regardless of the time the rental company claimed it.
There are better agents that provide this service without tricking their customer with the "small letter" trap.Dear Meir Bar-Tal ,

I usually don't leave bad reviews but I did have a few problems with discovercars.com
1 - The booking number never worked in My Booking so I could never manage my booking or see the details. I sent an email but it was a long wait before I got a reply.
2 - I paid the full amount for my car booking to discover cars but then I also got charged around £198 by budget when I handed back the car. I looked at the invoice and there was a voucher prepayment of around £468 which got deducted off the total bill from Budget - it appeared budget never received the full funds from discovercars.com so I had to pay the deficit. I then emailed support, only for them to say it will take upto 15 days to respond.
I am absolutely sure it's a great service when it works, but when it goes wrong, you can't get the support from this lot. I would seriously be concerned if there was a ... problem. Book direct to Budget / Avis / Whoever. It won't save you much in the long term.Dear Oli,

Sometimes the customer can't access the reservation page because the registered email address is misspelled or the password is lost. In this case, all we need is the name of the main driver to be able to find the booking. Regarding booking directly with the supplier, we do not recommend it because our prices are always the lowest in the market and so is our coverage. Please send us an email with the name of the main driver to reviews@discovercars.com, and we will investigate why you have paid more than the contracted amount on our website. See beneath my urgent e-mail sent 2 weeks ago as they absolutely do not pick up the phone.
Until today no call, no e-mail or text message whatsoever. Disaster! Do not use this middle man!
I picked up a car yesterday but cannot accept its condition.
It is 6 years old car, 61000 km, literally each part has some demages. It is dirty inside. No position light. Each tyre is different and one is 7 years old. Basically the car does not meet safety standards and I cannot use for transportation of my family.
Of course I pointed at these when picking up but a representative did not have alternative option so I had no choice. She promised to get a better car for me but I am not sure this will happen. Please, help to get it replaced or I refuse to pay and want to terminate the conract immediatelyDear MARIUSZ,

What is important is to separate the company Discover Car Hire from the local service provider. The company is just a website to link the customer and provide additional services such as insurance. What I would like to make the people aware of is the misleading "Full refund" policy for early cancellation. It just happen to me. I booked beginning of June for the period of September. 10 days later, I found another offer and decided to cancel the booking. This company only proposes a voucher for use in future reservations. So BE AWARE that you are stuck with this company if you want to cancel.
