Window tints for car
My partner was after some window tint to keep the car cool in the summer. In the past, we bought film tint we had to cut and put on ourselves. He found these online and since his birthday was around the corner, I got them for him. The website was user-friendly and I liked that the tints came in sizes ready to fit the car windows. You could also choose how many windows you wanted to tint in one package.
After ordering, I didn't get a confirmation email, so a few days later I used the live chat on their website to sort it out. They quickly resolved the issue and I got the items a week later. Fitting them wasn't as fast as we expected, but we managed to get them on all windows we bought them for. The only downside was that the back passenger windows couldn't open with the tints on, although they were easy to remove if needed. My partner was happy with them!Rear window sunshade
I was really let down by the rear window sunshade I bought. The clips were all wonky and it wasn't at all like what they showed online. Customer service said they'd give me my money back but that never happened. On top of that, when I tried to take the sunshade off, it just fell apart. I honestly think I've wasted £72 on something that's rubbish. I recommend avoiding this company to anyone thinking of buying from them.
Solar window film
I bought this solar window film and it was such a letdown. The cut is all wonky, looks like a child did it, and it doesn't even fit my windows properly. On top of that, the two small back window films I got are different sizes when they're meant to be the same. The quality of the product and customer service were both awful, they're not even responding to my attempts to sort things out.
Tinted windows purchase
I was quite disappointed with the tinted windows I bought, even after using a discount code. They easily scratch and leave marks that won't come off, no matter how careful I am. I think it's better to go for a professional tinting service for a more long-lasting and satisfying outcome. Just be aware that the tinted windows can get scuffed when you roll the rear windows up and down, so it's best to be cautious. If you're only considering tinting the boot glass, that might be okay, but for the side windows, I recommend getting help from a professional. The delivery time of 4 days from Sweden was really good.
My recent purchase
I have to say, I was really let down by the quality of the stuff I got from this company. The things were all broken and didn't do what they were supposed to. When I got in touch with the company, they said they'd send me new ones, but I don't trust their products anymore so I asked for my money back instead. Plus, the window tints I got didn't fit right and weren't any good. I'd suggest sticking to the usual window tinting methods and steering clear of this company.
Small window privacy screens
I tried out the small window privacy screens, and they were okay, but not great. It was a bit of a faff to get them on because they didn't line up perfectly with the holes, but they looked decent once they were in place. However, the tailgate privacy screen was an absolute nightmare. It just didn't fit right and wouldn't stay put when the tailgate was up. The clips were useless and didn't hold it securely at all. Whenever it rained, water would seep between the layers, creating a misty fog on the window that definitely wasn't ideal. I got in touch with the company, and they offered to send some larger pieces and better clips, but I reckon it still won't solve the problem if they can't secure properly. I've asked to return them for a refund so I can go for the more traditional film tint instead, but I haven't heard back from them yet. Feeling pretty let down, to be honest.
Solarplexius rear window tints for Fiesta MK6
The rear quarter panels were a real pain to fit, they just didn't fit properly at all. I had to use four of those ugly clips they gave me just to get them to stay in place. And to top it off, both rear door windows got scratched during the whole installation. If you're thinking about getting these tints, I'd suggest spending a bit more to have them done by a professional. All in all, I wasn't too happy with the product.
