    The wall-mounted electric fireplace I bought is absolutely gorgeous and really catches the eye - everyone who sees it loves it.     Insurance purchase gone wrong

    I've never had such a bad experience with an insurance company before. It was such a hassle going back and forth with emails, only to end up being sent to their recommended hospital for a scan that turned out to be a waste of time. I waited all day for them to send proof of payment, and I ended up feeling frustrated and let down. On top of that, I had to buy my own crutches and now they want me to pay my excess for a doctor's appointment to get a fit to fly certificate so I can come back to the UK for NHS services and avoid medical fees. The service was absolutely terrible, I'd advise you to avoid this company.

    Why has my driver been stationed in the same place for over 20 mins, really not happy with service, the driver got the order ages ago but hasn't moved positions in ages

    Twice I have watched the driver who accepted my order straight away, sat in the same place for over an hour! The customer service did nothing and on the order yesterday tried to tell me the driver was on his way and she could see him moving but it was 2 hours later he turned up from what would be a 15 minute drive.

    I have ordered about 10 times through these and most of the time got the same delivery driver who was really friendly, always quick and would contact if anything was missing to ask for possible substitutes. However the last 2 times I've ordered I have had 2 different drivers. The first was late, rude and almost caused a serious crash in my street. The other took almost 3 hours to get here as he aparently had car trouble but never informed me even though he had my phone number. Both times I complained to customer service (Email and facebook as they are so hard to get hold of) and both times I was met with basic answers, I was called Laura every time on my email and my name is Lauren! On email I was offered £5 off my next order (The cost of delivery and service charge) which is insulting considering I have spent hundreds with them and I can guarantee they would take the money off the driver and knowing my luck it would be one of the good ones.
    My conclusion is that this would be amazing idea but the customer service is absolutely horrendous which massively lets it down.

    Ordered my plants on 13th April. They arrived 3 months later, the magnolia tree in terrible condition and apple tree not much better. Have tried to revive it, but almost has no root system. No progress on my 100s of email messages. I receive regular messages trying to sell more but nothing about resolution. I am disgusted by this company. I wish a dissatisfied customer with expertise and time would suggest a group action.

    Unbelievable. I thought I had seen the last of this terrible company, I ordered in May, eventually after months of being ignored by then, got a refund from my bank via cashback. Now the bank has contacted me to say GE is disputing the refund saying it's a fair charge!!! Gobsmacking. No way are they stealing my money a second time. I have sent the bank evidence (which I thankfully saved from the ticket before they deleted it) so they can refuse their request. Just shocking. Avoid avoid avoid. Will I ever be free of aggravation from this terrible organisation??

    I got a cease and desist letter from them as they didn't like the support I was giving to the 130 people on Facebook that were trying to get money back for dead, damaged and undelivered plants and trees.

    Awful awful awful wish I read reviews before I bought. WONT EVER use them again. They have asked for feedback which I have given, no one replied to my emails, no number to call. Absolutely joke

    I also received a bunch of dead plants that this company seems to specialise in and after no response from their useless ticket system, I submitted a chargeback claim via my credit card. It has taken them a few months to deal with my claim but I finally got my money back. Please submit a chargeback claim via your credit card and hopefully if enough people are given there money back this despicable company will start to feel it where it hurts and stop treating their customers with such contempt.

    I think they are actually criminals and we should get together and launch a class action against them. I ordered two identical bamboos to create a short hedge. After a long wait just one arrived which was no good to me. They then argued that they'd delivered 2 as that's what it said on the delivery note. I waited a few weeks for the other to arrive and then demanded my money back in full. But they've got a rule saying things must be returned in 14 days - very clever ploy.

    Another unsatisfied customer response from me too. I paid £14 for 2 dead white Poinsettias that have just gone in the bin.     This company bulk buys reviews so you cannot trust any positive review. On Trustpilot the positive reviews all have 'invited' next to them. In other words, bought and paid for. I am going to follow advice and claim back from my credit card company but I'm still going to leave negative reviews anywhere that I can. People need to know just how bad this company is. They should not be still operating.

    Ordered an item specifically for next day delivery. 4 days later it arrived. Asked for refund of postage aswell as item due to it not being next day and had the rudest customer service I have ever encountered. Implying I was lying about ordering next day. Then some very rude responses to my emails asking where it says my post code is excluded from next day. Turns out this information is under the “help” section and not the delivery information where it should be. The clothes look nice but will not use again due to rude and poor customer service.

    Ordered my plants on 13th April. They arrived 3 months later, the magnolia tree in terrible condition and apple tree not much better. Have tried to revive it, but almost has no root system. No progress on my 100s of email messages. I receive regular messages trying to sell more but nothing about resolution. I am disgusted by this company. I wish a dissatisfied customer with expertise and time would suggest a group action.

    Quite shocking that this company are still trading , they took million of pounds from people then sent dead plants .
    They did not give refunds either when requested .

    I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered my two non matching bay trees that were sold as a pair to look the same! For over two months I have been waiting for a reply after I sent photos of the plants and was assured my "Victor" my case was being looked into! There is no way to contact the company except fill in Support Tickets and wait!!! For Christmas maybe??

    Unbelievable. I thought I had seen the last of this terrible company, I ordered in May, eventually after months of being ignored by then, got a refund from my bank via cashback. Now the bank has contacted me to say GE is disputing the refund saying it's a fair charge!!! Gobsmacking. No way are they stealing my money a second time. I have sent the bank evidence (which I thankfully saved from the ticket before they deleted it) so they can refuse their request. Just shocking. Avoid avoid avoid. Will I ever be free of aggravation from this terrible organisation??

    I got a cease and desist letter from them as they didn't like the support I was giving to the 130 people on Facebook that were trying to get money back for dead, damaged and undelivered plants and trees.

    I also received a bunch of dead plants that this company seems to specialise in and after no response from their useless ticket system, I submitted a chargeback claim via my credit card. It has taken them a few months to deal with my claim but I finally got my money back. Please submit a chargeback claim via your credit card and hopefully if enough people are given there money back this despicable company will start to feel it where it hurts and stop treating their customers with such contempt.

    I think they are actually criminals and we should get together and launch a class action against them. I ordered two identical bamboos to create a short hedge. After a long wait just one arrived which was no good to me. They then argued that they'd delivered 2 as that's what it said on the delivery note. I waited a few weeks for the other to arrive and then demanded my money back in full. But they've got a rule saying things must be returned in 14 days - very clever ploy.

    Another unsatisfied customer response from me too. I paid £14 for 2 dead white Poinsettias that have just gone in the bin.     Should be totally free, also very very disappointing that you can not speak to your tutor on the phone so they know if you have any mental health issues so they can work with you to ensure you can pass. I feel at times I have been ripped off by this company as all the help you get is via messaging whereas I prefer to speak to someone over the phone or face to face. Also testing centres are out of my area not good.

    This is a bizarrely self-centred review. Should be totally free? How would they pay their tutors if it was free? What kind of business model is that? Utter nonsense.

    What a strange review, it's clear that the tutors are accessed via messaging. Perhaps you'd like Cloudlearn to helicopter tutors directly to you at your convenience also - completely free of charge of course ;)

    It seems like cloudlearn have sent people to defend their terrible website. It should be totally free because they have just copied links from Youtube and their content is written with many errors, which I have noticed. They charge over £200 from channels that are already on Youtube and claim that youtube is an excellent 'resource' when its literally already FREE, and they should instead use their own content.

    The content is great, and I like being able to choose my schedule. The only reason it doesn’t get a full 5 stars is because their communication is kind of spammy. I signed up on a Friday and schedule my first class for the following Monday evening. During that time I received numerous emails to buy a certificate and/or diploma, and as I got closer to Monday, the emails became more frequent. On the day of my first class (scheduled for 9pm), I received multiple emails and 4 automated phone calls which my carrier had marked as spam so I didn’t even answer but my VM picked up the recording. There are no settings to be able to adjust the frequency of emails or even opt out of phone calls which is ridiculous. It’s also funny because I’m the first lesson, communication is discussed, yet it seems this is an area where Shaw falls flat. Bottom line: be less spammy.

    Smartphone Photography

    I love taking pictures with my smartphone, but I really wanted to excel my knowledge in smartphone photography. I have attended 2 classes so far, but they are immensely informative. During the first 2 classes I attended I understood smartphone camera hardware specifications and different terminologies related to smartphone camera. I look forward to complete my course, and in future would love to enroll for a new course.

    During this lockdown period, one needs to be busy in order to maintain sanity. What better way then, to stay busy by indulging in learning something new. That's what I did. And since Shawacademy has magnanimously offered a free course in photography, I jumped at it. I have attended one class so far and am keen on completing the course. There's lots to learn, and practice. My husband has a Sony DSLR (though he is an amateur photographer), I intend to use it too.

    I'm taking up Sports Nutrition class. The class is very informative. Lessons are explained well and in a concise manner. Plus, visuals are great and really help you to understand the topic given the short amount of time. Will definitely recommend this to everyone. Looking forward to more lessons in the future!

    The webinar was very good, simple and to the point which suits my needs perfectly. First time to study about graphic design and the lecturers way of teaching is clear and easy to understand.

    The only comment I would offer to improve the learning method via these online line courses is to allow moments in the course to jot down notes. As to pause the course means you will miss a nugget of information and will in turn need to rewatch the course in the recordings. Thank you for the opportunity to provide this feedback.

    To be honest, I never knew cryptocurency lessons would be as intriguing as it is.
    The first class I had was a thorough eye opener and for the most part, I was very well able to comprehend those technical terms with ease.

    Web Designer Course - Novice!
    This is the first time I have used Shaw Academy introduced by a free 4 week trial and then will decide if I wish to continue with the learning. At the moment just completed 2 lessons and was very surprised and impressed by the way the class was run. It certainly felt I was genuinely in the class room and Kate (the tutor) was very good. Kate conducted the class in very calm and professional manner and is extremely passionate about learning with a likeable personality! She is very encouraging and for someone like myself who is complete novice to Web Design this does help and motivate you to continue with the lessons. Her motto is:- 'Do not give up!'

    I just finished my third class in personal beauty. I have attended modeling school and have written for cosmetic/beauty websites for years, but I am a bit surprised at just how much information has been crammed into three classes! The extra materials made available are enormously helpful. I am happier than I thought I would be and greatly look forward to the rest of my classes!

    Actually is a very good platform. I just have one problem with it, and it's that just to give you a reminder that you have class it fires you a bunch of notifications from the app, to the email, through SMS, and the last time I even received a phone call to remind me that I had a class which I was already in, but in the perspective of the content of the class and the platform it's really great.

    Diversity of knowledge. Instructors are really genuine and kind. Good price for value of education. Truly a platform to invest in yourself for now and for the future.

    I was curious about how 4 weeks classes would make a different in my career so I gave it a try. After the first class I was impressed how organise and efficient it was from content delivery, solving questions instantly using the side bar Morpheus to digital reminder. It takes no hassle to learn something I really wanted to. Definitely a great platform to upgrade yourself.

    So far my experience with Shaw Academy has been very educational and fun. Interestingly enough, the discussion and the way the information is given does keep you engaged throughout the entire session. So far I am very pleased and can’t wait to see what happens next.

    I have attended 3 Excel classes and Even tho in the early stages I am learning so much. I have been using excel since the 80's and surprisingly one gets set in their methods. I am looking at things now that I have skipped over for years. Cant wait to finish this course.

    Really enjoying the courses, Leadership &Management, Cryptocurrency and Project Management so far in progress. All the lesson recordings and materials are really helpful.
    What is less enjoyable is the sheer number of emails that Shaw send - its overkill!
    Email reminders ahead of the lessons are really helpful, however the commercial plug emails are really too much as are the pop ups on the portal. Less is more please!
    Other than that, really enjoying learning again, its been a while since I took lecture notes etc!

    I have been taking the project management course as a refresher course for myself as I am entering a job market in a new place. I was initially a bit skeptical about this course because it is not focused on my subject matter, but honestly I realized that the way it is taught is based on concepts and key words in a way which can be easily be applied in one's own field. Further, I missed a class today and I got a call, email and sms reminder to reschedule!     My family has had this DSLR camera for the longest time, but no one knows how to use it, which is why I looked into taking this course. I have only had 1 class so far, but it looks like it's well organized and I'm excited to learn the more technical parts of using a camera.

    This course is my first experience with Shaw online. They are on time, very thorough, speak in language anyone can understand and give incredible support information in the tool kit. Love them!

    So far the course I am taking is going very well, the only issue I have had is that the video is not running well in Safari, apart of that everything is going well.

    Classes are OK but I found them sometimes a bit boring, I get distracted very easily and sometimes I fell the course I'm taking doesn't really catch me. Also the gigantic amount of emails and messages you get becomes somewhat annoying.

    It was a good introductory course for online marketing. It was a good way to acquaint myself with some basic marketing terms. However, it is a lot of material to be introduced to right off the bat. Also, I would have appreciated some advice for people on a very low (or non-existent) marketing budget.
