The food from this service is always really tasty, I've never had a bad meal yet. But I do wish they would send slightly riper avocados. It's handy that you can customise the meals they choose for you and add any extras you might want. Sometimes the instructions aren't very clear and could do with better proofreading to avoid confusion. However, if you're used to cooking, it's pretty easy to follow and make the meals. As someone with celiac disease, I'm grateful for the wide range of gluten-free options they offer. Plus, I've actually developed a new liking for vegetables thanks to this service.

I've had a really bad experience with this company's subscription service. I've tried many times to sort out the credit card fraud and unauthorised charges on my account, but Green Chef hasn't helped at all. It's worrying and not okay that they've ignored my concerns about customer security. I've had to do a lot, like getting new cards, just to stop more fraud, all because of this company's carelessness.
Dinner box purchase
I wanted to share a recent experience I had when ordering a dinner box - it was not good at all. I paid for four dinners but only got three dinners and a light lunch. Unfortunately, the meals were missing a lot of ingredients, had a couple of rotten ones, and there were four different items from what the recipe said. The quality was low for the price I paid. I thought about cancelling my subscription, but then four more boxes arrived with the same problems. It's been a really bad experience.

Even after eventually managing to cancel, I was shocked to see the food still turning up at my door. I've been on holiday and now I have loads of boxes building up outside, going bad. I'm really let down and unhappy with the service. It's so important for companies to make it simple for customers to postpone or cancel orders, and this service has definitely not got it right.

I thought I'd give a meal delivery service a go after being talked into it by a salesperson at an event. I signed up only to find that the meal choices weren't quite what I had in mind. Dealing with all of that, along with the persuasive sales techniques, really put me off.

The delivery actually arrived on time, and I really enjoyed cooking the meal. The recipes they gave were really tasty, but unfortunately, my first dish was missing the cavalo nero, which was a bit annoying. The flavours were nice, but the portion size was a bit small and left me feeling hungry later on. I had to have a protein shake to feel fully satisfied in the end.

I gave the pork with mushroom sauce meal from this service a go recently, and honestly, it didn't quite meet my expectations. I was looking forward to the Cavolo Nero, but unfortunately, it wasn't included in my delivery. I had to settle for some basic store cupboard vegetables instead, which was a bit of a letdown. On top of that, I couldn't help but notice that the chicken breasts in the meal seemed to be shrinking and were a bit uneven in size. Some of the vegetable portions also seemed a bit on the small side. While I've had good meals from this service before, this particular experience didn't quite hit the mark for me, leaving me feeling a tad disappointed.
Discounted subscription
I signed up for a discount subscription recently and got several boxes from them. The meals they sent were really good, and I didn't miss anything in the deliveries. But when I tried to skip a week, I noticed that the discount offer I had was gone from my account. It was a bummer because then I couldn't afford to keep getting the subscription at the normal price. So, I had to cancel my membership, missing out on the rest of the boxes at the discount.

The variety and quality of ingredients really impressed me, and I liked the fact that I didn't have to worry about portion sizes as the meals were already sorted for me. However, my good vibes were kind of ruined by the rubbish customer service I got. The messages from the company were a bit all over the place, and when I needed help with an issue with my order, the call centre staff in another country just weren't helpful at all. It's a shame that a brilliant product is let down by such poor customer service. I won't be giving them my business again.
