Helpful customer service
I had a chat with this guy and he was super lovely and really patient with me. He took the time to answer all my questions and helped me work things out. I was proper impressed and will probably end up becoming a customer because of him. Thanks a lot!
Insurance policy
I just bought an insurance policy from this company and I have to say, I was really impressed. The website was so easy to use, which made it simple for me to find all the information I needed. Delayed flight claim issue
My flight from London got delayed, so I had to spend extra money on hotels, flights in Thailand, and ferries. I sent all the required documents to the claims department, except for a letter from the airline explaining the delay. Even though I provided plenty of evidence of the delay, including emails from the airline and other documents, they still insisted on the letter. This unnecessary demand is slowing down the progress of my rightful claim, which is really frustrating and not okay. It's clear that my flight was delayed, and there should be no argument about that or using it as an excuse to avoid compensating me for my expenses. Overall, I am really disappointed with the poor efficiency and lack of understanding shown by the claims department.

In my opinion, honesty and working together are really important when it comes to insurance claims. You need to give all the info they ask for to make sure your claim goes through. If you feel like you've been treated unfairly by an insurance company, have a think about whether you've been completely honest yourself. I managed to get my claim approved by giving them everything they needed, like receipts and documents. It just shows that it's best to be open and clear when talking to insurance companies.
Gadget cover for iPhone and Apple Watch
I've had this insurance for years now and then my Apple Watch got run over by a car - I was so worried! When I tried to claim it, they took ages to sort it out. I had to wait so long for an update and they even said it could take up to 14 working days to fix it. But, the watch was completely broken, so I was really annoyed. Even after I cancelled my direct debit, it still took them ages to repair it. And to top it off, they didn't even replace it with the same model! So not cool.
Smashed phone replacement
My phone got smashed and I was really upset, but thankfully I had insurance with an amazing company! They were really speedy in responding and gave the go-ahead for my replacement in record time. I posted my phone on a Monday and received a brand new one by Thursday! The only downside was they warned me the colour might not be the same, and I got a white one instead of my lovely hazel one. But it had double the storage, so I can't complain too much about that. I will definitely use them again in the future.
Recent insurance policy purchase.
I bought an insurance policy from this company recently, and I have to say, it was a really disappointing experience. The service was not great, with just one person, 'Poppy', dealing with all the customer calls. Although Poppy was nice, the overall service was not up to scratch. The policy itself didn't make much sense and seemed illogical, which resulted in my claim being unfairly denied. I suggest steering clear of this insurer if you can.
Stolen phone claim
This insurance company is just awful! They've made it so difficult for me to claim for my stolen phone, it's been a nightmare. They keep asking for extra stuff to avoid giving me what I'm owed. The customer service is so bad, especially after I explained about my health issues. It's like they couldn't care less. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this company, they'll only bring you stress and let you down. I won't be renewing my policy with them, that's for sure.

Switched On Travel Insurance firstly said that we were not covered.
Then they said we had to get a letter from the airline confirming that it had been cancelled. There was a major storm that weekend and every flight was cancelled: any decent insurance company would have looked that up!
Then they refused to pay.
We challenged for the third time, and they said we needed another letter from the airline stating there were no other flights within 24 hours.
We challenged again.
They then offered us less than 20% of our claim.
We’re suing them, and will win.
