The quality, market relevance of the marketing/ digital marketing courses were higher than expected. Only issue for me was needed to reload page during first three classes, and having ' missed class' alerts, when I attended, despite having no server/ internet issues.
Very well structured & organized class. Only downside is the avalanche of email and text notifications I get reminding me that class starts tomorrow, in an hour, or has just started, or even that I'm late even though I'm on the class in time. I also get emails telling me I missed class when I didn't, which gets annoying. But good quality material

The Illustrator course is very good and I am enjoying it. The website design was terrible with most of it out of focus, needs to be re-done. One thing I do not like is the constant emails, phonecalls and text messages. I know a reminder is good, but that is too much

This website is really good to learn something new. The way of learning on this platform is nice. The classes and the explanation is great.
I found the taught lecture reasonably clear and good, although very short being only 30 mins (excluding the intro and 'lets go over again what we have just gone through'). I don't like the automated purchasing system. I clicked on a link, which I thought would take me to a page to explain what the e-certificate was all about and how much it was, an found that I had purchased it, without having even started the first lecture!!! I clould not get any sound on my second lecture at all and kept receving emails stating that I had missed my firdt lecture and should re-schedule, which I had not missed. Many automated responses, which I find irritating. I also did not request a telephonen call prior to the start of my lectures and do not need reminding to atend my lecture, like a ten year old, as they were in my diary. I still received no explanation as to why they thought I hadn't attended my lecture....especially as the autobot was talking to me during it!

I’m only one lesson in, but the course so far has been extremely well thought through and executed. It’s a crash course in Design but so far the unexpected content has surprised me in a good way.

I'm only 2 courses in, but Shaw Academy does a great job of simplifying the basic principles of Graphic Design. I didn't expect to learn the history of Graphic Design, but I'm glad they included it. Well executed content.
I already had 2 lessons, everything is good, I think in order to improve will be good to have some kind of Flow chart to let the user understand the whole process for each course, including payments, paid assets, diploma, etc.

I took the courses like web designing, graphic design, illustration and digital marketing. I find that i was learning in a good pace with info packed lessons. Just like a crash course but more practical. It doesn't get boring because it's an hour at a time. The lesson plans are great and made in a gradual and easy to understand manner. The end of lessons quiz and assignments are easy to do. There are ample reminders to attend lessons emails, SMS, app notifications, web countdowns which gets a bit tedious sometimes but I don't really mind it. One thing though, there are emails saying I missed lessons but I haven't, I'm sure there are ways to identify attendance or make a better attendance system in the future. What I'm hoping to get out of the lessons are fast tracked skills to be able to start work independently as a freelancer and because of the skills i get and the lessons learned, I feel more confident in my abilities. It's great for people who want to enter a new industry like me, or start a hobby, or have some knowledge but not enough to move ahead. I do recommend these courses and I have nothing but good feedback for Shaw Academy online lessons, its coaches and systems. Thank you.

I'm two lessons in and the course content is good so far.
However the customer service is horrible! I had some questions about my student account and some charges so I sent an email. Twice. No response to date. I joined the free course but it seems to have alot of hidden fees like after every module you have to purchase an certificate for each module before you can unlock assignments or move on to another module. That's not fair. They should state all this inflation before joining so you can know the total cost for joining. Also when I downloaded the app and I sign in, its asking me to set up payment info again, and it was setting me up as a new user. So although I did my lesson on the laptop, my phone app was saying I missed a lesson. So I deleted the app.
I'm not sure but I'm thinking of cancelling if I dont hear from customer service soon.I have been enjoying the class so far right from Module 1 and am very sure it is going to a great class at the end of whole Module. Thanks to shawacademy for this great opportunity.

This is my first time to enroll crash course online because of fear of scams and phishing nowadays. But they are real and I can say reliable. I am so far in my trial phase lesson 3 and because of excitement to learn I bought the toolkit for advanced learning.
I was also able to reschedule the 2 lessons as I missed them and It was an easy click.I had your class for the first time today, and I had a class link because I didn't have the application so I was joined from link. But I observed that here are lots of students whose English is not very good , due to that most of the students are not comfortable so I have request to you please give us subtitle to understand more easily and the one last thing is please focus on a more practical , and make a video on that how to download a editing software. A great program! I'm really excited to keep learning about Graphic Design. The only down-side is when the instructor asks for your opinion, there's no where to give it and not enough time to write in the comments.

Smartphone Photography
I love taking pictures with my smartphone, but I really wanted to excel my knowledge in smartphone photography. I have attended 2 classes so far, but they are immensely informative. During the first 2 classes I attended I understood smartphone camera hardware specifications and different terminologies related to smartphone camera. I look forward to complete my course, and in future would love to enroll for a new course.
During this lockdown period, one needs to be busy in order to maintain sanity. What better way then, to stay busy by indulging in learning something new. That's what I did. And since Shawacademy has magnanimously offered a free course in photography, I jumped at it. I have attended one class so far and am keen on completing the course. There's lots to learn, and practice. My husband has a Sony DSLR (though he is an amateur photographer), I intend to use it too.
I'm taking up Sports Nutrition class. The class is very informative. Lessons are explained well and in a concise manner. Plus, visuals are great and really help you to understand the topic given the short amount of time. Will definitely recommend this to everyone. Looking forward to more lessons in the future!

At the begining itself, a very big thank you to Shaw Academy, which I encountered accidently while browsing facebook and I admit it was a good encounter. Now, coming to course, photography is so talked about these days, anyone and everyone has a camera, i.e., the smartphone camera, and almost everyone loves clicking pictures, weather it is about their trips or food or the most commonly used one- selfie. This course teaches from the basic of cameras till the end. I stared this course and I can vouch that your camera clicks will definetely be improved, and ofcourse as the saying goes, practice will make you perfect.

The only comment I would offer to improve the learning method via these online line courses is to allow moments in the course to jot down notes. I just finished my third class in personal beauty. I have attended modeling school and have written for cosmetic/beauty websites for years, but I am a bit surprised at just how much information has been crammed into three classes! The extra materials made available are enormously helpful. I am happier than I thought I would be and greatly look forward to the rest of my classes!
Actually is a very good platform. I just have one problem with it, and it's that just to give you a reminder that you have class it fires you a bunch of notifications from the app, to the email, through SMS, and the last time I even received a phone call to remind me that I had a class which I was already in, but in the perspective of the content of the class and the platform it's really great.

I was curious about how 4 weeks classes would make a different in my career so I gave it a try. After the first class I was impressed how organise and efficient it was from content delivery, solving questions instantly using the side bar Morpheus to digital reminder. I am enjoying the lessons so far. I think it would arm me with the knowledge I need to excel as a great photographer. I love landscape photography and I hope to finish the lesson.
Really enjoying the courses, Leadership &Management, Cryptocurrency and Project Management so far in progress. All the lesson recordings and materials are really helpful.
What is less enjoyable is the sheer number of emails that Shaw send - its overkill!
Email reminders ahead of the lessons are really helpful, however the commercial plug emails are really too much as are the pop ups on the portal. Less is more please!
Other than that, really enjoying learning again, its been a while since I took lecture notes etc!Its amazing
Way that you Teach Every oneI have been taking the project management course as a refresher course for myself as I am entering a job market in a new place. I was initially a bit skeptical about this course because it is not focused on my subject matter, but honestly I realized that the way it is taught is based on concepts and key words in a way which can be easily be applied in one's own field. Further, I missed a class today and I got a call, email and sms reminder to reschedule! It's honestly really nice - really feels like Shaw Academy peeps have my back :) thank you so much for this opportunity, if it was not for free I would never have been able to do this course. I highly recommend Shaw Academy's Project Management course to anyone who is interested in organizing their work and learning the ropes of how projects can be managed and the different components in their own sector!

I am just starting the courses, but after my first class i have learned about how to become a better graphic designer. I would recommend people try the thirty day free trial then go from there. So far it has been a great experience

Since I started to begin with Shaw academy, they had encouraged every step of the way. I enjoy learning the Excel diploma course as it is something quite similar I want to do for future. Much better than going to uni and spending year's not liking the course.

My family has had this DSLR camera for the longest time, but no one knows how to use it, which is why I looked into taking this course. I have only had 1 class so far, but it looks like it's well organized and I'm excited to learn the more technical parts of using a camera.
I’ve just finished lesson two in Social Media Marketing and I’m really enjoying it...exciting content, great lecturer and visual aids and great real time support, and super flexible, which I need right now with all kids off school! I can’t wait to continue my course. Already thinking of enrolling in advanced course!
Excellent academy and great course
This course is my first experience with Shaw online. They are on time, very thorough, speak in language anyone can understand and give incredible support information in the tool kit. Love them!
So far the course I am taking is going very well, the only issue I have had is that the video is not running well in Safari, apart of that everything is going well.
I am delighted with the course and program. The style of teaching is simple and easy to understand.

Classes are OK but I found them sometimes a bit boring, I get distracted very easily and sometimes I fell the course I'm taking doesn't really catch me. Also the gigantic amount of emails and messages you get becomes somewhat annoying.
It was a good introductory course for online marketing. It was a good way to acquaint myself with some basic marketing terms. However, it is a lot of material to be introduced to right off the bat. Also, I would have appreciated some advice for people on a very low (or non-existent) marketing budget.

Shaw academy is helping me learn new skills during this Covid 19 world wide pandemic. I always wanted to learn how to be a day trader and I am learning all about how to market my teaching by being in the social media classes also. They are informative and I am learning quickly. I cannot express how happy I am that I found them.

The Shaw academy makes it easy to obtain useful skills and knowledge. Much of the courses are surface level skills, but you still find some good nuggets of information. I get why they have you schedule specific times for class, but it would be nice to simply have a deadline and do the course in your own time.
