    TV and wall mount purchase

    I recently bought a TV and wall mount from Best Buy for my home entertainment system. I went into the store and found what I needed, along with a few other things I was thinking about. The staff were really helpful in answering my questions and helping me decide. But my whole experience was dampened by a supervisor who accused me of something, just like someone else mentioned in a review. It was a bit of a shock and it left me feeling pretty bad about the whole situation.

    Big TV for my family

    A massive thank you to Best Buy for hooking us up with the perfect big TV for my family. We snagged an 85” TV and it's absolutely amazing, the kids are over the moon! The store was really well organised and I got loads of inspiration for sprucing up our outdated gear. Thanks a bunch Best Buy!

    My time at Best Buy was a letdown, to be honest. I bought a washer and dryer this month, but it turned into a real hassle. I kept getting calls every day during the decision making process, and after I bought them and they were delivered, the salesperson didn't bother to return my calls about some important stuff. Plus, the promises made by another sales rep didn't pan out either. In the end, I had to bug Geek Squad a few times before I finally got a physical copy of the Protection Plan on May 25th, 2024.

    Big screen TV and sound bar

    I recently bought a big screen TV and sound bar from Best Buy in Florence, Kentucky. Picking out and buying the items was easy and went well. But, when it came to the delivery and installation, it was a total disaster. They missed the original delivery date and didn't even let me know. When I called customer service to find out what was going on, I got different stories from different people. Eventually, they told me the TV was on its way to the store and they'd reschedule the delivery. Now, the new delivery date is almost a week later, and the delivery company's phone number is in Florida. It's been really frustrating and disappointing, especially considering how much I paid for the delivery and installation service.

    I haven't been to this shop for years because of my past bad experiences with prices and service. However, someone gave me a gift card so I thought I'd give it another go. I ordered two VTech baby gifts, but the first delivery was missing one of the items. The second item showed up damaged in a flimsy envelope, so it wasn't fit to give as a baby present. Even after spending hours chatting with their customer service reps and making several trips to the UPS store, I still haven't got a refund or replacement. The whole thing has been a total nightmare and a complete waste of my time.

    HomePod mini purchase

    I was really disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at Best Buy. I used to be a loyal customer and enjoyed shopping there, but all that has changed now. My local store closed a few years ago, so I became an occasional customer. Last Christmas, I bought an Apple Watch as a gift, but when I tried to exchange it for a different color band after the holidays, I was told I'd have to pay more due to the sale being over. This left me feeling unsatisfied and put off.<br>Deciding to give Best Buy another chance recently, I went to buy a HomePod mini on sale, only to find out they had none in stock in any color at any store in Detroit. This inconsistency in product availability has made me decide not to shop at Best Buy anymore. Their new subscription sales model, where they charge extra for services that used to be free, has also added to my disappointment. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on, even if it means paying more. My recent experiences there have been really disappointing and I'll be shopping somewhere else in the future.

    Refurbished digital camera for a trip

    I recently bought a refurbished digital camera from a shop for an upcoming trip where I needed something small and efficient. The camera looked fine when it arrived a week ago, but when I took a closer look, I found that the batteries weren't fitting properly in the compartment. The lid wouldn't shut with the batteries in, so the camera wasn't usable. I called the third-party seller on their 1-800 number, but they weren't very helpful. They suggested I take a photo of the problem and send it to them, which seemed pointless to me. Feeling frustrated, I went to the Best Buy store on June 1st and talked to the manager. I was surprised when the manager told me they couldn't help with issues from third-party sellers, even though I bought the camera from Best Buy. They didn't respond to my attempts to return the faulty camera, so I left it with the manager hoping for a solution.

    Online order issue

    I had a terrible experience with Best Buy. I ordered three items online, all said to be in stock. However, an hour later I got an email saying one item was out of stock. When I went to the store to pick up the other two items, I asked if I could get the third item in a different colour. The staff said no and told me to buy it and wait 7 days for a refund on the out-of-stock item. The manager, Paul, was really rude and gave me excuses for their bad inventory management. He wouldn't cancel the item they didn't have, saying his system wouldn't allow it. It felt like a dodgy practice to me. I ended up cancelling the two available items and had to dispute the charge for the unavailable item on my credit card. I used to like Best Buy, but now I see they're not trustworthy. I recommend buying from Amazon or another reputable seller instead.

    The customer service at Best Buy was really disappointing. The staff didn't seem bothered and weren't helpful at all. When I asked for help finding a particular camera, they just sort of gestured vaguely without actually giving me any real guidance. It was obvious they'd rather be doing something else than helping customers. On top of that, the ordering process was so slow and not very good. I placed my order online, but it took ages for them to even start processing it. The lack of communication and transparency was really annoying. Based on my experience, I wouldn't suggest shopping at that store.

    Television with faulty panel

    I bought a TV from Best Buy and the panel broke after just 14 months. Even though it was supposed to be covered by a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer, the Best Buy staff didn't know about it and didn't help at all. Instead of assisting with the warranty, they just tried to sell me a new TV. I had to go to Costco and RC Wiley to figure out how to deal with the warranty. I'm really let down by the lack of knowledge and support from Best Buy. I would suggest avoiding Best Buy if you're looking to buy a TV.

    Recent laptop purchase

    I recently bought two laptops from Best Buy, but it was a bit of a letdown. The laptops were stuck in S mode and even after I got help from the Geek Squad, the problem wasn't fixed. They suggested I return the laptops because they thought they were faulty. Sorting out a replacement turned into a bit of a nightmare with lots of wrong info and several calls to customer service. When the replacement laptop was sent, the pickup got cancelled without telling me. And getting a refund was slow and confusing, with a wait time of up to 2 weeks. All in all, dealing with Best Buy has been really annoying and has made me doubt the quality of their products and customer service.
