New Years Eve booking
I wanted to share my experience of booking a New Year's Eve river cruise with a popular company. It was all set for a fun night, but then two weeks before, I got an email saying the cruise got cancelled because of a broken gearbox that couldn't be fixed in time. This not only messed up my plans for the big night but also meant I was stuck with a £690 hotel booking that I couldn't get rid of. They did offer a refund for the cruise, but I was still left feeling pretty upset and out of pocket.

As someone who's been holding onto a Merlin pass for a long time, I was absolutely taken aback and let down by the recent changes made to the disabled access system. My son has autism, meaning he needs some extra help when it comes to waiting in long lines. Before, the ride access pass card allowed us to skip the regular queues, making our trips much easier to handle. But on our last visit, we found out about the new rule where we had to book the ride access pass in advance, a rule that we hadn't been properly told about. This lack of info meant we were denied the help we really needed, just like other families in the same boat. The way the management dealt with it was just awful. Instead of being understanding and kind to families with special needs, they seemed fine with sending us away, even though we'd come from far away. The lack of flexibility and empathy shown to disabled people was just really disappointing and went against the family-friendly image the park tries to keep up. All in all, a really sad experience that's made me see the park in a different light.

I recently ordered a Logitech Mouse from ComputersDeal and I have to say, it was a pretty disappointing experience. I got my confirmation email and thought everything would be smooth sailing from there, but boy was I wrong. Weeks went by and I didn't hear a peep about my order - no updates, no notifications, nothing. I tried emailing and calling customer service but I was met with radio silence, which just left me feeling frustrated and worried about whether my purchase was even legitimate. In the end, I had to turn to Paypal to sort everything out, which really shouldn't have been necessary for a simple online buy. Great holiday experience
I really enjoyed the holiday in general. The driver was great and the hotel staff were really friendly. The food was delicious and the hotel was nice and clean. However, it would have been even better if they had chosen a ferry with a lift for disabled people or if they had let the main group go ahead to avoid waiting around unnecessarily. I would have also liked to have more time at Osborne House instead of going to Cowes, as it would have made for a better schedule. But all in all, it was still a lovely holiday experience.

When I was in London recently, I stayed in a long-term apartment managed by this company and I have to say, I was really impressed with the service. I think in general the courses have been good and informative and have had a good overview of the different things. I liked that the courses have been not extensively long but to the most part just communicated the most essential things. Sometimes, I would have liked more ‘real-life’ examples as sometimes things were slightly vague. The only real negative feedback I can give is that I am receiving between 1 and 6 emails a day which is starting to become slightly annoying. I would consider doing more condensed information and fewer emails.
