    LED ceiling lights ( remote control)

    I’m pleased with Lights supplied but!
    I’m pleased with Lights supplied , but I have had issues when one was supplied without a remote control? Because the electrician was booked it was fitted anyway. The company sent out a complete light unit NOT JUST A REMOTE. Luckily the remote synced with the light already fitted, so didn’t need to call the electrician back in. Fantastic!
    But because of the pandemic it’s been troublesome returning light and they are now charging me £2 for reminders they send and won’t discount the light . I have requested just a remote and I’ll pay the invoice I’ll make use of it in the garage? Watch this space

    Awful. Light failed within 6weeks. Return was a total nightmare customs forms to attach and takes over two weeks to return to Germany and then wait to get refund which was REDUCED by £15.00 +vat for postage. Terrible company. Avoid like the plague.

    Do not buy! Awful service, ordered a light from here and took two and a half weeks for them to even take the payment it was pending on my account for that long it was returned to me they then took the payment again without permission on a Saturday when you cannot contact them as they are closed. when contacted as soon as they opened on the Monday to cancel the order as it’s taken 3 weeks for them to even take payment let alone dispatch I’m told sorry you can’t cancel the order you have to wait until you receive it and then follow the returns policy even though they still have not dispatched it. Over all orders take way too long, communication is poor and customer service is even worse.

    DO NOT BUY ... worse company every their delivery partners are worse then any thing the costumer service is not worth the hassle... Took the money now refusing to give back any money believing DPD over our words. Was told that it would be delivered on Friday was told no one was at home when i was working from home when called was told that delivery companies skips some deliver due to timings but had said that they tried to deliver.
    i rather spend more and get good costumer service there have also been times where they have just put the phone down and no one higher to talk to ... Rubbish company be very careful. i would not trust them at all.

    2 outside lights + 3 inside wall lights

    Order two outside lamps. The delivery was late, and I wasn't there when they finally attempted it. I was told to use the DPD app to re-schedule, but it wasn't working and the lights were sent back to them. Since then, I have been unable to get my money back. I phoned the so-called "customer service" several time, and all they say, quite aggressively, is that they have sent a mail to their accounting service and that I need to wait (the company is based in Germany, which may explain why UK customers are not their priority).
    To add insult to injury, I tried to re-order, although the product is indicated as "in stock" in my basket, when I click on it, I get a missing link message. There again, the "customer service" has been very unhelpful, and unable to tell me if they actually have the product, so I am going to look elsewhere, while they are sitting on my money and my renovation project is thrown off-rail...

    3 Djori wall lights

    Steer clear – of the most consistently incompetent company I have ever come across in my 70 years on this planet. Why did I give them one star? Because I couldn’t give them MINUS 71 – the number of emails to and from them to complete the transaction. Or MINUS 71 – the number of days from my initial order to the confirmation of the refund. Or MINUS 40+ - the number of phone calls to lights.co.uk sorting out the order, wrong items, damaged items and refund - and the calls to DPD to sort out them being given the wrong address. Or just MINUS 2 – the number of time they lied directly to me.
    Hopeless!!!
    I ordered three external lights on 9th July 21. When DPD turned up a couple of days later – he only had one small box. Had I bought three lights for a dolls house? No. When I opened the outer box, there was only one light – and it was the WRONG one – so first call to lights.co.uk. Did get an email saying not to bother sending the wrong one back.
    They did send out three of the correct lights – but they put an extra space in the postcode. It didn’t arrive on the due date, or the next few days and the tracking info showed the parcel was bouncing between the Hull hub and the Chelmsford depot more than once – so called and emailed lights.co.uk, but got no help – so called DPD. They confirmed my postcode and said it should have gone to the Springfield depot as they now do my area. One of the managers drove the parcel to Springfield and it arrived a day later
    The outer box was damaged. There were three lights, and the correct ones, but one of the boxes was damaged and it rattled with loose parts inside.
    So called lights.co.uk again who agreed to send out a replacement. Despite highlighting the address issue causing problems at DPD – they again addressed it with the extra space in the postcode which had the same effect at DPD. Called lights .co.uk to ask them to sort it out. They told me they aren’t allowed to call DPD, so it was down to me to chase them again. SO I called DPD – who asked why I was calling them rather than the retailer. I told then what I had been told that they aren’t allowed to call DPD – and they said “They are lying – they are our customer and should be sorting this out for you”
    Again it took a manager driving the parcel to the Springfield depot – which took a couple of days this time – but the light eventually reached us intact. Lights.co.uk had sent out a return form for the damaged light, but later sent an email saying not to bother sending it back.
    After all this trouble we decided we’d had enough and asked to return all three lights for a refund. Labels and custom forms were emailed to us and we bundled them up into a parcel, popped on the labels ad took it to the Post Office. The return form and the customs forms clearly showed there were three lights in the parcel
    After a few days – more than the 3 to 5 working days they quote for receiving you refund, nothing had hit the account, so called and emailed several times to be repeatedly told there had been an internal issue and it would be passed to complaints and would be processed. This was 30th July.
    Waited and waited … and waited. Still nothing so more calls and emails and hey! A refund reached the account on 1st September. For ONLY ONE of the three lights!
    So more calls and emails and more long waits and more passing to complaints and it will be processed. I was told they couldn’t just do a bank transfer as it has to be refunded “some other way”. On 16th September I received an email saying they had refunded my PayPal account. I paid by card, and checking my PayPal account the balance was ZERO. SoI called again – by now getting quite angry and extremely frustrated. They could see it was being processed but couldn’t see it had been paid. So I told them if I didn’t see the refund for the other two in my account the next morning I would initiate a Section 75 claim with the credit card who would then be on their back as well as me.
    Lo and behold the next morning (17th September) my account was showing the balance of the refund full processed and deposited on 15th September – which was followed by an apologetic email about the delay in replying to my 14th September email, with a screen dump of their system showing it had been refunded by bank transfer (rather than “some other way”) on the 15th!!!! The payment they couldn’t see the day before – a day after the payment!!
    Finally!!
    But would we have accepted them anyway? The picture online looks good quality items, but reality was very different. Cheap materials, poor quality manufacture, just a huge disappointment. I then looked for some reviews. So wish I’d done that before I ordered them. Yes a good number of 5 star reviews, but way too many one star reviews all quoting issues with delivery, refunds and quality – with the advice to avoid like the plague.
    Wish I had!

    All they would offer is a 20% discount from my next order. I explained I'm not rewarding poor service with more custom and cancelled.

    Will not use again.

    Designer Table Lamps

    worst experience of customer service against all the companies I have used during lock down. Ordered two premium table lamps, both took 3 weeks to deliver and were damaged, these things happen. Return process whilst simple, took a further 3 weeks and they would not ship replacements until damaged returns received, not helpful. Another 2 weeks waiting for the replacements, so we're at 8 weeks now, and one lamp was ok, the other had a damaged shade. Was a I prepared to wait a further 8 weeks to complete the return and replace process, NO! So, I requested a refund on the damaged shade to enable me to buy elsewhere. This took a further 10 days to get a response, and then when the said it will take 3-5 working days to receive the refund, I'm still waiting 10 days later. This business is just a web site in the UK with products shipped from Germany. How they survive with such poor customer service is beyond me and I urge to to think careful when buying as the process, if any thing goes wrong, could take several months. The response to email was dreadfully slow, taking a week or more in all cases and having to chase chase chase. When you call the UK number, all they do is say sorry and pass it on to the service team in Germany, so no help whatsoever. Shamble of a business and NO customer care.
