    electric kettle

    The kettle is faulty: the electric cord does not line up with the space for it on the plate. I could not get through on the phone. emails not answered. Written letter not answered. I phoned this morning and was told "24th in line" I have not the time to wait that long. Am I paying for this call? This inefficiency?
    I will not be using this firm again.

    Still waiting for part of my order.

    3 items arrived no problem. I am still waiting for a fitted sheet. Tried to contact today and was 34 in queue on First call and then 38 in the queue on a second call spent ages without getting through . Customer service is appalling. Covid cannot continue to be an excuse! Contact difficult to impossible!
    Was given date of dispatch and delivery but no sign and no contact from This company. Never again. There are many more reliable retailers out there!

    I know what you mean. Had forgotten how bad service could be. Couple of years ago I ordered what was clearly a Christmas gift and it arrived the following April. Damaged furniture item was not replaced as now out of stock but implication was it was my fault. Am now trying to get response about item returned. I ordered 3 "covid" items on 30th January. Masks arrived in reasonable timescale. boxes to store them a while later and on 8th February doorbell rang and courier said I should check contents (visor sanitizing spray) as box was sodden. It tore open when I picked it up and contents were damaged. He recommended I reject the parcel which would be returned for replacement. I emailed immediately to advise Scotts. No acknowledgement, no replacement, nobody answering the phone except a recorded message with a littany of reasons why they are behind. I have ordered from lots of companies during this pandemic and expected a few delays but this is beyond belief.

    Same story, order from 2.11.2020 still outstanding and company very unhelpful, stock email which tells you nothing.

    I know that these times are difficult for all retailers, but I have never had such a negative experience as with Scotts. In spite of their pre-recorded claim that they are “coping with orders”, I write this to alert others thinking of purchasing with them, that they are clearly not.
    When/if you get through to someone (their lines are usually closed, even within the stated opening hours) staff are perfectly nice but they always need to pass on the issue to someone else and that is the last you hear from them. Sadly, it was the mention of wanting a refund that did eventually get some movement with delivery, but then they delivered to the billing address in spite of it being emphasised that the delivery address was different. So people: they’re not coping with orders. Wait till Covid is over and then give them about a year to deal with the back log.

    numerous items for Christmas

    Some items arrived on time the problems began with one item a purse was supposed to have been dispatched and never arrived, one defective item and a long delay on another item. What makes it worse is that I cant track the order as the tracking system on their web site says no order found. I have emailed and had no response even past the 10 days they say it takes them to reply. I cant get a reply from customer services or they are closed even just after 4pm when all stationary states 5.30 pm. I realise COVID makes it difficult but they are impossible to contact and these items cost me over £100. Quick to take payment not so quick to respond and supply. Would not use them again. I have used other online suppliers and actually had very little problem even over delays and returns.

    Im still waiting for the boots to be delivered . Getting no communication from Scotts at all , they re not reply to my enquiries nor answering the phone . The wellies were for my dad so thinking probably best to buy elsewhere and then if and when the boots eventually arrive I might get a refund and send them back .

    Ordered on 5th October, delivery promised by 3rd November. Still no sign of goods on 7th December. No communication from the company. Impossible to contact by phone and no reply to emails. Appalling service. Will not purchase from them again

    After 14 weeks, I rang up Scotts, and eventually spoke to a helpful staff member. (In October). He said there had ben a delay, and chair would not be delivered until January 2021. The chair is needed to help with a spinal condition, so I protested at the time, and total lack of communuication from the company. I asked for cancellation and a refund. I was advised this was fine. A few days later, having heard nothing, I endured the long wait and rang them again. This time it was a different staff member, and said she would sort it out. Nothing happened. After a while I spoke to the company again, and was told the order I had made to the manufacturer could not be cancelled. I pointed out that I had not made the order with the company, my contract was with them to supply the chair. Reluctantly, this was accepted. Eventually after a series of e mails, phone calls etc, I received a refund. The overall impression I have is that the company policy is to resist making refunds, and to make life for customers who want one as difficult as possible. I only made progress when I threatened small claims procedure in the County Court.

    I have also had a similar experience. Order a rug on 5th October, delivery promised by 3rd November. Still no sign of the rug despite trying to contact them by phone (which is impossible) and by email. I would not recommend purchasing any item from this company.

    Long delivery, faulty. No replacement available. Arranged refund. Still waiting after sending faulty unit back over 3 weeks ago. Near impossible to contact by phone. Even worse by email. They don't deserve to be in business. They continue to advertise in their catologues items that are not available.

    useless windscreen cover

    Last year I bought your magnetic windscreen cover. The two magnets were far too few and the cover blew up in any wind. It was suggested I trap the other corners in my car doors. This is impossible as the doors then won't shut. I see you have advertised this screen again, the photo also shows something attaching it to the centre of the car roof, what is that supposed to be? I can't fix anything to my car roof . A huge disappointment, I had to buy a screen cover elsewhere.
    Does no one check the items before selling ? I was thinking of buying dining room furniture from Scotts. now I really have serious doubts about the quality

    I ordered a poppy and bluebell
    Lap tray on the 5th October this year. After the third change of delivery date I have asked for a refund. It takes 10 days to get a reply to my email I also ordered a small armchair table. I waited from April to August to receive it. More fool me for ordering more items from them
