The kettle is faulty: the electric cord does not line up with the space for it on the plate. I could not get through on the phone. emails not answered. Written letter not answered. I phoned this morning and was told "24th in line" I have not the time to wait that long. Am I paying for this call? This inefficiency?
I will not be using this firm again.

I bought a lawnmower in June and only got to use it in August due to having a heart bypass operation in May. The battery would not charge and they had to send me a replacement which worked. On using the lawnmower for the first time the drive from the motor failed halfway though cutting my lawn and just left me with a whirling motor. The grass was short as it was only 4 days ago by a gardener so it was not under any strain. The item is now destined for the ... tip as I no longer have the packaging and the quality of the item leaves a lot to be desired.

Ordered with no problem on the Internet- didn't see a delivery date then; receipt of order gave it as 3 months - do they actually have any stock? Told them we would be away for 2 weeks in July, with the dates and was told no problem, it would arrive the following week. Second day of holiday had email from courier saying it had been delivered, so it sat on our doorstep for 2 weeks - great! When unpacked and all the jobs done, opened it and tried it. The trimmer worked OK so thought I would try the other attachment, but it was impossible to remove the blade to change it! Rang customer service and explained and was told someone would call back within 5 days - that was a week ago so rang again. Started to explain then realised I was talking to myself - the girl had just disappeared....... wouldn't touch them again with a bargepole. Funny though, they can send out catalogues every week!
Never even arrived
I ordered an item from this dreadful company on 18/4/21. Since that time this company has moved the delivery date forward three times! On the last occasion I said I wanted to cancel the order and have a refund.
Scotts of Stow have steadfastly refused to give me a refund.
Their last email said I couldn't have my money back (7/6/21) because the item would arrive on 11/6/21. It is now 24/6/21, no product arrived and a continued refusal to refund my money.
I now face having to report this as a fraud against me through my credit card company. I'm 74 years of age.
What a truly truly dreadful company.
I wonder if their CEO Mr Swaby ever reads customers reviews because he must surely be ashamed of the company he heads.
On arrival 2 of the 6 plants were dead and had no sign of growth.
The team are totally useless and appear not to care about customers On April 1st I got in touch with the resolver team to sort the problem out which they seem totally unable to even give me a sensible reply, even referring me to JD Sports!!
Appalling service. Item arrived damaged, they never replied to my emails. Finally sent a a return label but never refunded the parcel.

I have never dealt with a company as incompetent as this.
I placed my order in February and am still waiting for it to arrive. I have mailed them several times requesting to cancel my order, as it is impossible to contact them by phone .Hwever I have had no response regarding this. The only response I get is that they tell me my order is yet again delayed. I have now in fact resorted to telling them I am going to take legal action if I don't get my money refunded.
This purchase was for my elderly father who is partially deaf. He asked me to purchase it for him.
Utterly appalled at the way this company treats it's customers .please note I have only rated this company this company with 1 star, as there is not a minus option.

My best advice... Avoid this company! Ordered a clothes rail weeks ago and have been palmed off with three emails, each stating.a.delivery delay. I have requested a refund via emails, which were ignored. I have tried phoning, waste of time.as.no one answered and I was subsequently cut off. I will report this to trading standards although don't hold out much hope of a refund. BUYERS BEWARE!

Ordered on 18 Jan and charged in full including £5.95 delivery.
Still not arrived, just a stream of e mails promising it will be receive soon, latest delivery date yesterday, guess what, no parcel. No one answers phone, wait on line 15 minutes then cut off. This is a truly disgusting customer experience. I have asked for my money back, totally ignored. Criminal!! If I could give no stars I would.
Tried to place order, but total price plus carriage was more than expected. It transpired that the price quoted in their most recent catalogue was 5 pounds less than the price they would charge me. On querying this there was no explanation other than that the price
coming up on the computer was greater than that printed in the catalogue. I did not place the order and will not deal with this company again. It is not the first time that I have had problems with Scotts of Stow.
