Science kits for homeschooling
The science kits I bought from this company for homeschooling were absolutely brilliant. They were not only top-notch quality, but also really easy to follow and enjoyable for both me and my kids. I absolutely adore these science kits! A while ago my mum got them for me and my two siblings, and we had such a blast doing all the experiments together. We thought the science experiments the company provided were brilliant for our son, who's a big science fan. The kits were straightforward to use, with easy-to-follow instructions that made it easy for us to help him learn at home. It was a relief not having to think about what to buy or where to buy it since everything we needed was in the kits. Plus, the experiments were ideal for when his friends came over, as all the kids were really into the activities. In general, it was a fantastic experience for us.
Homeschool science kit
As a customer who used science kits in our homeschooling, I found them really interesting and helpful. They had all the things we needed and the instructions were easy to understand, which made our experiments go smoothly. There were a few small problems like a broken part and a bottle that leaked, but overall, it was good. However, after a while, we stopped using the kits as my daughter lost interest. Now we have a bunch of unused kits that will keep us going for a while.

I received a science experiment kit as a gift three months ago, but then they charged my gift-giver's card again and sent more sets without our knowledge! We had to send back one set to get a refund. They did apologise, but it was still a bit disappointing.

The science kits are amazing, my son absolutely loves them and he can do them all by himself without needing much help from me. I really like that there are various different boxes to pick from, and the customer service has been brilliant. In general, I think this is a fantastic idea and I would definitely recommend Mel Science for children. After finishing his first box, my son was eager to start on another one straight away!
STEM kits for families
The STEM kits from this company have really added to our family's learning at home. They've really got my kids interested in science and provided hands-on learning opportunities. I like that each kit has a range of experiments and clear instructions. But I suggest parents give a hand in understanding some of the trickier explanations, as they might be tough for young ones to get on their own.
Prepaid gift subscription issue
My experience with the prepaid gift subscription from this service provider was a total nightmare. I initially bought the subscription as a gift, but to my surprise, they started charging my card every month without asking me. This sneaky billing is not on and has left me feeling annoyed and short of money. And to top it off, my nephew has 14 boxes he hasn't even opened because he thinks they're boring. It's been a waste of money and a bad experience all round. I recommend steering clear of this service if you want to keep your hard-earned cash safe and avoid unnecessary hassle.
Chemistry and physics subscription for children
We decided to sign up for a chemistry subscription for my son and a physics subscription for my daughter. At first, the chemistry subscription was really interesting and educational. But, over time, the quality got worse as the boxes didn't match up with the live lessons, some were repetitive, and others just weren't very good. So, we were let down and decided to cancel the subscription because it wasn't as educational as we had hoped.<br><br>On the other hand, the physics subscription for my daughter started off well with fun and engaging boxes. However, things went downhill when they started sending chemistry kits instead of physics kits. We gave them feedback, but the company tried to justify it, which wasn't what we wanted and didn't keep our kids interested. In the end, the lack of sticking to the original subscription offerings made us cancel both subscriptions.<br><br>It's a shame because we had wanted to keep both subscriptions going, but we were disappointed by the drop in quality and the fact that they didn't consider what we wanted.
Fun kits, need more variety
The kits were so enjoyable, but my little brother managed to finish them in no time. It would be amazing if there were some harder tasks to keep us busy. All in all, we had a great time working on them together during a dull period.
STEM kit disappointment
I bought this science kit thinking it would be awesome, but honestly, it was a bit of a disappointment. The instructions were a bit meh, and the AR feature wasn't all that helpful either. To top it off, it broke the very first time we gave it a go, and it looks like others had the same issue too. I reached out to customer service about a month ago, but still haven't heard anything back from them.
Kits easy to build, free trial box
These kits are great, they're really easy to put together. There have been a few hiccups, but the customer service team always helps to sort things out. The content is so much fun and educational, my kids absolutely love it!

I bought a really cool science kit, but when I tried to cancel it, they made it so difficult! They claimed the website was faulty, but it seems like they just want to keep charging me. It's not fair at all - I simply want to cancel my subscription!
Chemistry kit for kids
I got this really neat chemistry set for the kids, but when it came, I had to fork out extra cash for each parcel! I felt well and truly ripped off, but luckily George saved the day and got everything sorted. Now I can relax knowing I won't be stung with those annoying extra costs. Cheers, George!
Chemistry set for 9-year-old
We bought a chemistry set for our 9-year-old son and we were really disappointed with it. The experiments were too short and didn't seem very educational for the expensive price. We were particularly disappointed with the lack of proper scientific learning. They said there would be VR lessons but we couldn't access them on our Android devices, and they didn't tell us that before we bought it. The email they sent saying sorry and promising an Android app in the future wasn't good enough for us. I asked for some of our money back as we couldn't fully use what we paid for, but they didn't reply. In the end, we've decided to cancel our subscription because the whole experience was below par and not worth our time or money.
Science experiment kit
The science experiment kit I bought was such a letdown. One of the bits was broken when it arrived, so it was really annoying to put it all together. And even when I managed to assemble it, it just kept falling apart. Plus, the launcher was too high to even properly launch the ball. It was a real disappointment all in all, especially because I paid so much for it, only for it to feel like it was made from cheap materials that didn't even fit together properly. I definitely won't be buying from this company again.
