Good work
Basically they are into beautification work of furniture's and sofas,
Not recently, first month of last year Plumbs make me surprised when I reach to them through their site for said works. When it's finished I couldn't believe,these are same items..Just fantastic work
Cost doesn't matter when you feel happiness within you. I thanks these people .sofa covers and curtains
I was very nervous about the purchase but the rep, Amanda Skerritt, put me at ease and was fabulous. She made lots of helpful suggestions and helped me reach a decision. The covers were fitted this week and are beautiful and a great fit. I was given lots of additional tips for the room and caring for the items. Thank you, Amanda.
6 Dining chair seats recovered
Andrew Sheldon your local consultant arrived on time for both his visits. He was very helpful to my making a selection of suitable covers.

Covers are lovely but just over 12 month later had to return all seat covers as they had bobbled/bruised. Concerned that will repeat in another 12 months! Paid a LOT of money so not convinced these are good value despite the sales pitch.
2 sets of curtains
If I could give PLUMBS zero stars, I would.
I ordered curtains with corded tracks for two windows in the spring of 2023. When delivered the cords were so coarse that, when pulled, they were cutting my hand. So they had to go back and new uncorded tracks were ordered. When delivered one of the tracks was too short so it had to go back. When the new track was delivered it was still too short. Then a “clever” customer advisor, instead of asking for a new track to be supplied, put a raw plug into the wall, and pinned the end of the curtain to the raw plug. That looked awful so I AGAIN complained to PLUMBS Headquarters and again a new track was ordered. When that was fitted the curtains were getting “stuck” in the middle of the track so that had to be sorted. And then, the track on the second window snapped in the middle. I am still waiting for this to be sorted.
And I paid £ 2400 for the two sets of curtains, that is £ 1200 for one window. All I can say is, steer clear of PLUMBS. The customer consultants are freelancers, the track fitters are contractors and the curtains are probably made in China, although I cannot be sure of that. Communications between consultants, Plumbs HQ and track fitters are non effective, left hand does not know what the right is doing and the customer suffers.Sofa covers

Absolutely 1st class service. Andrew Sheldon, of Plumbs, could not have been more helpful. Re-upholstery was faster than expected, especially so close to the Christmas holiday.

Plumbs rep was very friendly, and helpful. The covers were delivered earlier than promised, and are a perfect fit. We were so pleased we have ordered covers for two other sofas we have. Thoroughly recommend Plumbs.
Recover electric recliner chair
I thought I would use a national company to ensure a good job was done and I wouldn't end up regretting having my leather electric recliner recovered in fabric. At no time during the initial visit after I had selected the fabric was I told that there would be problems with the nap. The fabric took ages to arrive and then a local upholsterers collected it and took 4 weeks to return it. I was so disappointed as the side panel on the back of the seat was a totally different colour to the rest and really stuck out. It was reluctantly taken away again after I complained with Plumbs saying "it was just the nap" .2 more weeks until it came back with just the same problem. I accept it was the nap but my argument is why didn't someone use a bit of common sense to stop work and tell me this fabric won't work (and then for them to do it again !) Also, if I had realised Plumbs just outsource the work to local upholsterers, I could have saved myself a £1000 if I had employed them directly! Great shame and a very expensive lesson learnt! Not good enough even with the 'goodwill gesture' of a £250 reduction in the cost! Never regretted anything more in my entire life as having used Plumbs and that is even after 2 marriages!
Sofa armchairs Tailored covers
Took 5 weeks instead of the 2-3. Unfortunately really let down. Furniture didn’t look like I expected or was promised, and ill fitting, plus still haven’t got the cushions I ordered or arm covers that was promised as way of compensation which I wasn’t happy with. Unable to get contact with manager.
Haven’t paid for it yet. But so very disappointed. Wished I hadn’t had furniture touched.Sofa Cover
I took up Plumb's half price for 21 days offer. The fabric chosen was on the half price list. When the home consultant finished measuring he quoted the price as £900.00. I asked him if this was half price and he assured me it was.
After he left I started to think that the full price of £1,798.00 was excessive so I went online and read a review of the same fabric for a similar sized sofa. The reviewer said she paid the full price of £900.00 with no discount.
I contacted Plumb's who were insistent that the price charged to me was half price even though I told them about the online review.
I am happy with the cover but at 77 years old I feel disgracefully ripped off by this company and will never buy from them again.Recovering a 2 seater and 3 seater settee, plus large blinds
I am pleased with the covering of my settees, curtains and blinds, although there was a circular mark at the bottom of my curtains which had I noticed within the time specified time to make a claim. Fortunately it's not noticeable. I am now ordering bedroom blinds from Plumbs. Always found the Saleslady to be very helpful and friendly/efficient. I like the fact that the whole process is dealing with a lady. Plenty of colour choice too..
2 sofa loose covers
This company are an absolute joke!
We spent over £2000 for loose covers. They did them twice but still not like they advertise on video. I don't know how they are still in business.

Complete disaster from beginning to end. Catalogue of problems,
- tears in new fabric
-oil stains on new fabric
-part of order missing
-mechanism not cleaned
Customer service diabolical, it was down to me to negotiate with them to resolve the issues and multiple emails and phone calls
My Mum was dying of cancer and we required the furniture for carers to sleep on but couldn’t do this as Plumbs has mismanaged the timing of its return and then on return to find the problems with it.
I would never ever recommend this company to anyone-complete sham from the beginning. My parents were let down. Plumbs were only initially prepared to halve the bill but I pushed and settled the balance at a75% reduction .

Would not recommend this company. Was expecting a lot more from the overpriced curtains I had fitted. Next time will be going to Dunhelm Mill
2 sofa covers and armchairs
The initial visit was satisfactory. There was a long delay before delivery of covers which was partly due to long Christmas holiday break.
The covers are a linen look and when fitted I thought the creases would fall out but they have not. They do not absolutely fit and there are many loose threads which I have tied off. I feel the covers were very expensive and I would not use Plumbs againI agree! Very expensive and quality is not all its cracked up to be.
Loose covers £650
I will NEVER desk with this company again and I will NEVER recommend them. 12 covers were ordered the deliver was delayed by several weeks. When the did arrive ever cover had been made one one too big. They were returned and after more weeks chasing and waiting when they finally arrived they were 1 inch too small. Disappointed at the way the company treat customers. They refuse to refund my £200 until they have the covers back. A horrible experience.
