Bus trip with Bertie the Driver
My family and I really enjoyed our bus trip. We found a promo code and were able to ride on both routes. Our driver, Bertie, was fantastic and made my nephew's birthday even more special. Big thanks to Bertie! The buses were simple to use and we received assistance at some stops, which was great. The only downside was that we weren't sure when the routes ended, so we ended up waiting a long time for the blue route. Eventually, we had to come up with another way to get back, but we still had a great time overall. I would definitely recommend them for a fun day out!
Hop-on, hop-off bus tour
The hop-on, hop-off bus tour was pretty good, all in all. I liked the idea of being able to wander around the city at my own speed, and the bus driver, Adrian, was really nice and polite. If anyone had questions, he was ready with helpful answers and made sure everyone was relaxed during the ride. Although, one thing that wasn't so great was the commentary about the landmarks - it sounded a bit outdated, like talking about the Queen as if she's still around.
City bus tour
Tootbus was absolutely fantastic for our city bus tour. Having the 3-day pass meant we could jump on and off the buses whenever we wanted, giving us the freedom to discover the city at our own speed. The buses were always on time, making it easy for us to get around and take in all the sights. We loved being able to use the earphones for a guided tour, it really enhanced our experience by providing interesting information along the way.
Family-friendly tour with engaging guide
I took my two young kids, a 4-year-old and a nine-month-old, on a bus tour. It all kicked off on time, and our guide, who I'll refer to as "Mark," was absolutely top-notch. He managed to keep both the little ones and the grown-ups engaged with loads of fun facts and jokes the whole way through. I picked up a ton of new info and had a brilliant time. Big thanks, Mark!
48-hour Tootbus experience including London Eye and Thames River cruise
My experience with the 48-hour Tootbus ticket, which included a ride on the London Eye and a Thames River cruise, was mostly positive. However, there were a few issues that affected my overall enjoyment of the trip. The wait for a bus at the Westminster Abbey stop was quite frustrating, although all other waits were short and manageable. I felt that the commentary provided during the tour could be improved. It would be better if they focused on giving more informative content such as stop numbers, detailed descriptions of attractions, and in-depth historical and cultural information.
The constant disruptions during the trip were the most significant downside. Waiting for over 15 minutes for a new driver on the first day, switching buses and routes mid-trip on the second day, and then an early end to our journey all added unnecessary stress and inconvenience to the experience. Consequently, we ended up taking the Tube back to our hotel to save time. If I ever visit London again, I would choose a different hop-on-hop-off company for a smoother and more reliable experience.Friendly and helpful staff, great bus and tour options
I had a fantastic time with the team at this bus company. Lebert Thomas and Ovye were really friendly and helpful the whole time I was there. The bus was comfy and they had a great selection of tours to choose from. I would absolutely suggest this company to anyone wanting a nice and fun way to get around.
Sightseeing bus tour
What an absolute disaster! The whole experience with this sightseeing bus tour was a complete shambles from start to finish. Firstly, the bus didn't even stop where it was supposed to, leaving us waiting in the wrong place. We had to rush to catch up at a different stop. To make matters worse, we weren't even given headphones for the commentary, which turned out to be just music playing without much information until later on. The route was all over the place, with strange stops and diversions that didn't make any sense. At one point, we were told to switch to another bus. The lack of organization was unbelievable. And don't even get me started on the commentary; it was either non-existent or very delayed. We even had to ask the driver for directions to a major landmark because the bus didn't seem to be following a logical route. In the end, we lost faith in the whole operation and left the tour early. It was a really disappointing and frustrating experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Blue line bus
I was waiting for the Blue line bus for ages but it never turned up! And when the Yellow bus finally arrived, the audio was so awful, nothing was right. Such a disappointment and a complete waste of my precious holiday time!
Sightseeing bus tour tickets
My experience on the sightseeing bus tour was really disappointing. The driving was so aggressive, it made me feel unsafe and dizzy, completely ruining the whole thing for me. On top of that, there were huge delays with buses not showing up and leaving us waiting in the cold for ages. The app was no help either, giving us wrong bus locations and causing a lot of frustration. And to top it off, there were even fewer buses than they said there would be, making the wait times even longer. I had my family with me, including young children, and this whole experience was just a big letdown. I wouldn't recommend this sightseeing bus tour to anyone, there are much better bus companies out there with more reliable services.
Bus tour experience in Paris
I went on a bus tour in Paris not long ago and honestly, I was really let down by the audio commentary. It was all over the place, often cutting off or not matching up with the sights we were seeing. Plus, the actual information given was pretty poor, there was no history or interesting facts about the city or the landmarks. And to top it off, there were jokes and stuff that definitely weren't suitable for kids.
Brussels tour
I recently went on a sightseeing tour in Brussels and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. They boasted about using 100% electric buses, but they forgot about one important thing - heating! Can you believe it? In the middle of winter, we were freezing as the temperatures outside were less than 5°C. To top it off, the upstairs windscreen was all fogged up and made it impossible to see anything clearly. It was a real shame as it took away from the whole experience.
City bus tour disappointment
The city bus tour really let us down. We got left stranded at 4 in the afternoon because that's when the buses stopped running. They didn't tell us when we bought tickets, so we and a lot of other tourists were left waiting. We bought the tickets at lunchtime and were told they were good all day, but no one mentioned the service ending. We tried emailing customer service about it, but got no reply. Such a waste of money and time, total disappointment.
Unreliable bus service
I wanted to share my recent experience with your bus tour service in London. I have to be honest, I was really let down by the level of service. The bus schedule was all over the place and didn't match what was promised. Some buses didn't even turn up at all, and the app was constantly giving me wrong info, changing the times and distances to bus stops. I wouldn't suggest your service to others based on this. I tried a different bus tour company before, and they were way more dependable.
Awful tour experience
The tour I went on was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I wasted a whole afternoon and a significant amount of money on a tour that provided next to no value. The audioguide was completely useless, offering no insightful information about the places we visited. It felt like a child was narrating their own uninteresting daily activities rather than providing historical or cultural context. To make matters worse, one of the buses had vomit on it, and the other had an open roof when it was raining, soaking everyone on board. Additionally, the audio guide on the bus was not functioning properly, further diminishing the experience. The overall lack of professionalism and regard for customer satisfaction left me so upset that I actually cried. I would strongly advise against booking this tour.
Paris bus tour
To be honest, our experience on that bus tour was awful. The service was really poor - our bus broke down and we were left waiting for an hour for the next one, with no clear information from the staff. They kept saying the app wasn't working and that a new bus would be here in 10 minutes, but that never happened. We had bought tickets for two days, but after that situation, we decided to explore Paris using different types of transport. I would recommend choosing a different company for your bus tour, like Big Bus, as we saw lots of their buses going past and their route seemed to cover more areas. All in all, a disappointing experience that put a dampener on our trip to Paris.
