Vatican Tour
The Vatican tour was absolutely fantastic! Our guide Raffa was amazing, she told us all about the history and showed us the best parts. We saw the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Vatican Museums. It felt like we were walking through history!
Skip the line tickets for historical sightseeing
We found that the skip the line tickets for historical sightseeing were a great choice for us. It was really nice to explore the Acropolis and other historical sites at our own pace without being in a big tour group. The Acropolis was absolutely incredible, and the other sights were really interesting too. Although having a guide could have helped by giving us more background information, we preferred to go at our own speed. After sightseeing, we went to Plaka for dinner and to buy some souvenirs, although it was a bit too touristy for our liking.
Colosseum tour package
The meeting point shown on the map for the Colosseum tour was way off. Even though I got there early like they said, I couldn't find the right spot in time and ended up missing out on the tickets. It's been a week since I got in touch with the company about it, but I still haven't heard back. And to top it off, I had a similar issue with the Tuscany package - they were supposed to provide tickets for Vienna Cathedral, but the guide said they didn't have any. And once again, no help from the company. All in all, I wouldn't recommend using their services based on my experiences.
Tour guide experience
I recently went on a tour and had the pleasure of being guided by a lovely lady called Natasha. She was really knowledgeable and kept us all engaged with her sense of humour. Despite me and my partner being the only Brits on the tour, we felt really involved and had a great time. If all tours were like this one with Natasha as the guide, I'd definitely book more in the future.
