Though it was costly for me at least,but my dear friends, this was wow experience. I will go for Silverstone track again and wouldn't mind expenses because after one or two decades I can remember my this adventure.
Rest people of Virgin is very friendly.

Same old same old , they take your money quick enough . My daughter bought me an helicopter flight , can’t use it , trying for months to get hold of them and now the voucher has expired , this is fraud And they get away with it , the next opportunity I get with the media. I will expose them for what they really are

Stay clear people . You can send emails , you can ask for a call back , nobody ring emails or calls , it says. Click the stars , I would not click any. But that’s not an option

The only reason these vouchers and virgin experience keeps going is because it's hard to say to someone who has just bought you a birthday present "You idiot. Why not just send my birthday money to poor Richard Branson". Everything virgin offer is available direct, for cash, cheaper and on the time and date you want. Next time I get one, I am going to say " You idiot! "

We were told that balloon flight vouchers cannot be changed for any other experience. We will have to waste over £200 gift and will NEVER deal with this firm again
Hi it’s a fraud. This virginmediaexperience . Same here , I have had a voucher that expired and can not use it now through the lockdowns. But this is not taken into consideration , just be careful and stay clear

AVOID BUYING A VOUCHER WITH VIRGIN EXPERIENCE !!
I bought this voucher for my parents in Dec 2017 as a special treat due to my father having the all clear from Cancer. Unfortunately this returned and so not to loose the voucher, my parents renewed this Dec 18. They booked the Spa valley in May 2019, which on numerous occasions had to be cancelled due to lack of staff and advised to go back to Virgin Experience to get a full refund as this could be like this for sometime. In July 2019 my father had to under go major surgery for the cancer and since has undergone a further 2 surgeries. Then Covid19 hit. I have been trying since June 2020 to get a full refund explaining i didnt want a refund on a gift card as 1) we dont know how long the Covid19 is going to be around & 2) Whether my father would be well enough anytime soon to do this trip.
My first impression of the service was from Joley was really frustrating and unhelpful. Just kept repeating the same thing over and over again, explaining see our terms and conditions. We cant give you a refund because the voucher had been used to book the experience. Yet it was the experience people who said go back to Virgin Experience to get the money back. After constant going back and forth with no way forward, i asked him to refer me to someone more senior than him to get involved.
Dealt with the team lead Sarah, who saw the amount of emails back and forth and apologised for the inconvenience caused and offered a full refund and an extra £20 for the inconvenience. I explained my fathers situation again and explained that i didnt want the money on a gift card and said no problem, i'll arrange this for you. Great! Finally spoke to someone who could see where i was coming from. Then about a week later i had an email from her saying that this refund was to be put onto a gift card and not my payment card. Here we go again. I dont want the money refunded onto a gift card, i wanted it to my bank Card.
I then get another email ... they cant refund due to GDPR. This has nothing to do with a refund of money back onto someones card. They say it would have to have been the original card i paid on, which if you bought the voucher in say Dec and a month later it expired, then you wouldnt be able to have your money paid back because that wasnt the original card. Ridiculous.
I went back again, complaining saying this was a ridiculous excuse, they are keeping my money for a service that from hasnt been delivered.
A few days later, received another email saying she couldnt authorise a payment onto the bank card, it could only be onto the giftcard with added extra £20 compensation. By this time i'm fuming with the useless responses, and i askedher, WHO do i need to speak too, to get this authorised if she cant do it.
The next day she responds to say, i have some good news, because this is extremely extenuating circumstances the she can get this refund on this occasion only. A refund of £88.50. no compensation amount added to it, will be refunded to my bank card! Oh so they are doing me a favour hmmm, not.
I've had stress from all of this since June 2020 and to be honest with you, unless your prepared to keep hassling or you are dying... you will NOT get your money back.
I'm glad i've finally got this money back but it shouldnt have been so hard. The icing on the cake was the fact they sent me a questionnaire about their support. Lets just say its not a good one.
I'm never, ever going to book a Virgin Experience voucher again and will strongly advise all my family and friends against this too. Go elsewhere.

AVOID THIS COMPANY If I could give this company a zero rating or less, I would. This is my first time using Virgin Experience and it will be my last. I would not even recommend others using them because they’re untrustworthy and lack any resemblance of customer service.
I had my Virgin Experiences Booked over a 2 day period and a fortnight ago, they cancelled my experience days, despite no government request pertaining to Covid-19, despite all businesses still operating, and despite me still excited to attend. I understand that these are extenuating circumstances, and that they chose to cancel experience days. I get that.
But what I don’t accept is the fact that they’re refusing to issue me a full refund for a service they’ve failed to supply me. Yes cancel the experience days for customers (bearing in mind they did so weeks before the government ordered companies to close), however refusing to issue customers with a full refund and keeping my money, despite not providing me with a service is downright dishonest, unethical and illegal.
If customers pay for a service and you can no longer provide such service, then you REFUND THEM ALL THEIR MONEY, that’s what you’re insured for....not pocket my money for yourselves! I dread to think how many more people you’re treating like this, pocketing customers money after you have cancelled their trips, then refusing to refund customers....shameful
Ditto !!!!! Cannot tell you how angry I am. No response from the hotel or .... Absolutely disgusted and in my eyes feels like theft as no way of getting the money put back into my ... account to allow us to book something else

Really bad experience - Italian afternoon tea was nothing like description and food was horrible - restaurant not interested and Virgin Experience customer services no use at all.
Description of experience completely incorrect and deceptive.
A 65th birthday experience that should have been a lovely event was a disaster made worse by the way that Virgin have handled the problem......BEWARE when booking!
One night stay in the Cotswolds with dinner
I ordered a gift experience for a hotel with dining option for my newlyweds friends.
I haven’t been told in advance that the experience was ONLY available Mon-Thurd ( even if it was - which I really doubt, it must have been hidden somewhere in tiny print). My poor friends had to take a day off - which of course was NOT what I wished to give them as a gift. When they got to the Dumbleton hotel (in the Cotswolds ) they were given a small room ( Not the luxury/superior room that was promised) and the decor was apparently run down, with a really below the average bathroom. You advertise this experience as being worth of many star, you talk about being an ‘impressive’ and a beautiful wedding venue, but it was sad, uncared for and with uncaring stuff. Apparently the average age of the diners in the restaurant (dinner was included in the ‘experience’) was over 70, this should also be made clear on your website - the target audience. Say the truth. Don’t mislead your customers. Make sure that you are able to deliver what you promise. As of now, I won’t be buying from you ever again, and will make sure that my voice, as a respectable paying customer, will be heard by others which don’t deserve to be let down, or even worse let down their loved friends.
Cruise on the Thames
Unfortunately I couldn't give 0 star.
Probably the worst "experience" provider ever.
I bought a cruise on the Thames, only to realise that you pay in advance for a voucher, with no dates confirmed.
And to my delight, I discovered there weren't any dates suitable to my schedule.
I tried and tried to see if I could find one, but no luck.
When I gave up and asked for a refund, I was told that I was out of the 14 days refund policy.
If you want to spend your money without the possibility to get a refund and a very appalling customer service, this is the company to go for.
It really look like a scam.
They get your money first, that's the most important thing.
Then if you can get what you purchased, great.
If you don't, they simply don't care.
Same here awful experience with Virgin Experience Days. I too booked for the Thames Cruise with Lunch and despite several tries no dates available with my rota for work (I’m a key worker who can’t take leave easily), I finally a managed to get dates suitable for both my experience days, one of which is the Thames cruise, to then be emailed a fortnight ago that they’re cancelling my trip. I’ve tried relentlessly to get a refund and told that despite having my date confirmed and Virgin cancelling my both experiences that I too conveniently I’m out of their 14 day refund window. Virgin Experience Days are keeping my money and refusing to issue me with a refund for a service they cancelled and failed to supply. Keeping customers money for no service is illegal and immoral I too advise people to AVOID THIS DODGY COMPANY

I had two Virgin Experience Days vouchers. One was for the climb the O2 the other was for a cocktail experience. Neither are now suitable, as my wife is pregnant.
I contacted Virgin Experience Twitter team and asked about exchanging the vouchers. I was told this was possible, and that the expiry date of the new voucher would be the same as the date the original voucher (10 Nov). I received the voucher in the post yesterday, and the expiry date was the 10 October.
I went back to double check my messages only to find that .... the message that the virgin experience team sent Via twitter, stating the expiry was 10th November, was deleted !
I have screenshot to prove this was sent to me.
It is clear to me that the agent clearly noticed their error when reissuing the voucher and decided to delete the message .... rather than just admit they were wrong.
Either that or they are trying to get me to pay an additional £20 to pay for an extend the expiry date.
I would have no issue if I felt that this was a genuine mistake ... However, I find it absolutely disgraceful that my conversation history has been doctored, and is a clear failure on Virgin end !
This is not what I would expect by way of service. This is also the thoughts of the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) who have indicated they will investigate should I not reach a satisfactory outcome with Virgin (At this minute in time - this is very unlikely)
Virgin claim that the message shows on their end - but will not share evidence to that effect or will they comment on the evidence that I have provided.
I have asked for this to be escalated to a manager on two separate occasions, this has yet to happen.
Virgin are not taking this serious ! I have lost all faith in their service and I would advice others to consider other providers before placing an order.
Make up their own rules
Tried to exchange my voucher prior to expiry. Wouldn’t let me online so contacted them. Took so long to reply that it expired so they told me to pay to extend so I could exchange which I did (even though was their fault!). Now they refuse to exchange because my company bought the voucher for me. Even though the original voucher clearly states “this face value voucher is exchangeable”!
