Holiday Tour
I highly recommend Virgin Holidays to anyone looking forward to an adventure. Virgin Holidays ensured that our hotel accommodations were excellent. Every room was comfortable and quiet, which was really helpful after a full day of site seeing and walking. Every person that we dealt with at Virgin Holidays was professional, polite and helpful. I recommended their services to my family and friends. I am definitely going to do this again with Virgin Holidays but this time with my family. I highly recommend Virgin Holidays to anyone looking for a great time. Disney holiday booking
This was my fifth time booking a holiday through this company and, once again, they really did a great job. They make sure to focus on every little thing, making the experience stress-free for customers. The staff ask all the right questions to really get what you're after in your holiday and they work really hard to make it all come together at a good price. I'd like to give a special shoutout to Melanie for her amazing patience and help in finding us the perfect dates for our January trip. She also sorted out our reward points and got our seats booked on the flights, making the whole thing super easy.
Family holiday to Florida
I've booked a family holiday to Orlando for April 2024, which includes park tickets and car hire. We managed to get a good deal during a sale. I was kept well informed throughout the booking process with regular updates and emails. The check-in process and flights were both excellent, with really good seats and more legroom than we're used to. The food and service onboard were top-notch. I had a small query during the trip and used the local representatives who quickly resolved it. Overall, I can't fault the company, it was a very positive experience and we had a great holiday.
Recent Trip to Holiday Store
I popped into this holiday store and honestly, the staff are absolutely lovely. The manager, Lara, is just so friendly and always willing to lend a hand. But my absolute fave has to be Dani - she's a real gem. Dani really takes the time to listen to what I'm looking for and manages to find me the perfect holiday every time. She's really knowledgeable and makes me feel like a VIP. She always goes the extra mile to assist me. If you're after a fantastic holiday, definitely check this place out. Big thanks to all the staff for being so amazing!

Orlando holiday booking
I recently booked a holiday to Orlando and had a bit of a rough time with the booking process. When I first made the booking, they told me I'd get a $600 credit for food and drink at Disney, which really swayed my decision to book. However, when I got in touch to claim this credit, they told me there had been a 'system error' and the credit wasn't applied. It was pretty disappointing as it was a big reason I chose to book with them.
When I asked what they could do about it, the only options they gave me were to cancel the holiday or push it to the next year, which might end up costing more. I wasn't happy with these options, especially since the mistake wasn't my fault. I ended up asking for extra perks like lounge access and better seats, but all I got was lounge access on the flight from Orlando to Manchester, which they said was worth about $50. I was overall pretty unhappy with the service and felt like the solutions offered weren't good enough considering the situation. And to top it off, I didn't even get an apology for the hassle.
Compared to other companies, I found the staff here to be lacking in friendliness and didn't seem very enthusiastic. They were more focused on giving out info rather than connecting with customers on a more personal level.Disney holiday booking
I recently booked a Disney holiday through this company and I had the pleasure of being helped by Andrew. He was really useful when it came to looking at all the different options and pricing for the trip. What I really liked was that Andrew had his own experience with Disney, so he could give advice based on that. He was patient with me and answered all my questions with a smile. I would definitely recommend Andrew and the company to anyone thinking of booking a holiday, especially to Disney.
Florida holiday
My family and I popped down to the shop and met this lovely lady named Holly who really helped us out with finding a holiday to Florida. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about holidays! We even got to sip on some prosecco and munch on snacks while browsing through different options, which was really cool. Holly made the whole process really easy for us and we had a blast planning our family holiday together. Big thanks to Holly, you're amazing! 😊😊
Large group booking for flights and accommodation
I made a big group booking for flights and places to stay, and I gotta say, the customer service was top-notch. Gemma Buckley really went out of her way to make sure everything was spot on. From the start right through to the end, she was on the ball, making sure everyone in the group was happy with their plans. She kept me in the loop the whole time with great communication. I can't thank her enough for all her hard work and professionalism.
Holiday booking experience
I popped into a travel agency the other day to check out some holiday options, and I ended up actually booking with them. The lady who helped me out was amazing - so helpful and attentive! Right from the start, she made sure I had all the info I needed to make a good choice. If you're thinking of booking a holiday, definitely go to the Manchester Arndale shop and ask for her. She's really great and a real credit to the company.
They advertised holidays but then rejected my payment
I tried to book a really great holiday, but when I went to pay, they refused and that's just not fair. I entered all my bank details and gave my approval on the app, but all they did was take a deposit and told me I had to wait 5 days for a refund. How ridiculous is that for a holiday booking? And then they had the nerve to try and upsell me a more expensive holiday! Come on, seriously?!

My holiday booking with them was an absolute nightmare. I strongly advise against booking with them, as they are a complete waste of money. Initially, they may appear great, but once they have your money, you're in trouble. Avoid using them for booking your holiday at all costs!
Vegas and LA holiday package
I just bought a holiday package to Vegas and LA, and I have to say the staff at the Fosse Park location were absolutely fantastic. They were so helpful in finding me the best deals and giving me tips on what to see. I definitely recommend Alicia as your tour operator if you're thinking of going on a trip.
Data privacy and mailing list issue
I've been having a right nightmare with this company who just won't take me off their mailing list. Every time I ask, they still keep bombarding me with stuff I don't want. It's a total breach of my privacy rights. They're trying to blame it all on ABTA, but I reckon that's just a load of rubbish. Honestly, I'm proper gutted at their lack of accountability.
Family holiday villa booking
I recently booked a family holiday villa with this company, but unfortunately, when we arrived, we found some cleanliness issues. There was pubic hair in the kids' bedrooms and the whole place was dirty. The customer service reps didn't really seem bothered and weren't helpful at all. They just kept reading from a script and didn't listen to my specific concerns. It was especially disappointing because my kids have autism, and I was hoping for a more understanding response from them. Even when I tried to sort things out after we got home, the company didn't really care. This whole experience has made me lose trust in them and made me question their values and standards.

Fly drive holiday
Sarah at the store was absolutely lovely and really helpful! She gave us some drinks, listened to what we were looking for, and managed to find us an even better holiday option. The whole process was quick and simple, and she even gave gift bags to the kids. We are all so thrilled with our experience!
