    Long-term rental experience

    My 28-day rental was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. I went to the Birmingham branch and was welcomed by a receptionist who was not just nice, but very professional too. The service I got was fantastic and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The prices were also really competitive, which made it a much better option compared to other rental companies. If I ever need to rent a car again, I will definitely come back in the future. Big shoutout to the receptionist for their outstanding work ethic!

    good experiences car rental

    Had some bad experiences with another car rental company, so for my last trip I tried another one - Hertz. Much, much better. The car that I got was in perfect shape and really clean. Service was professional and everything worked out all right in the end.
    I would definitely rent here again

    Van hire problems

    Well, I had this bright idea of renting a van for the day, thinking I was being clever. Turns out, it was a complete disaster. Their app wouldn't even function properly, so I wasted so much time just trying to unlock the van. And when it came to returning it, guess what? Yep, the app was still playing up! I made sure to take loads of photos just in case they try any funny business with the fees. They even attempted to change my rental time at the last minute because they were so disorganised. I swear, I'll never make that mistake again, never ever using them in the future.

    Unexpected electric car rental

    When I got to the rental place, they told me that they only had electric cars left, even though I had booked a non-electric one ages ago. I ended up taking the electric car, but it caused me a lot of problems during my holiday in Skye, Scotland. There weren't many charging points in remote areas, which made things really difficult. I even had to pay more for charging the car. Switching to an electric car at the last minute messed up my travel plans and it really affected my whole experience.

    I booked a van, turned up early, but had a bit of bother getting the van going. Tried phoning them, but couldn't get through to anyone. Ended up returning the van using the app and only managed to contact them via email. They took a deposit from me, and when I asked for a refund, they ended up charging me more. It was a rubbish experience all round.

    The rental company's service was absolutely terrible. I booked a van using the app and had issues from the get-go. I couldn't upload photos when starting the hire, even though there was clear damage to the van. I had to begin the rental without the necessary documentation. When I returned the vehicle, the photo upload problem caused my rental time to go over, resulting in unfair extra charges, despite returning the van early. I couldn't report that there was no fuel card in the van either, as there wasn't one in the vehicle. When I contacted customer service by email, I got a delayed response a month later saying they couldn't find any emails from me. It's strange how my invoice was fine but my valid concerns were ignored. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this rental service.

    Rental Experience

    I wasn't happy with my car rental experience. When I got there, they told me they wouldn't take a debit card for the insurance waiver, so I had to pay a huge fee for insurance on top of the rental cost. On top of that, I was charged extra to cross into Ireland, which I wasn't told about in advance. The lack of transparency and all these hidden charges really didn't sit well with me.

    Electric car rental

    I really wouldn't recommend dealing with this company at all. They seem to charge you for every little thing, like a tiny change in energy use, and even slap you with big admin fees for fines that might not even be your fault. It's just not fair, to be honest. So, my advice would be to steer clear and find a different company to deal with.

    Rental for PHV

    I wouldn't recommend renting from this company if your car is being used for PHV purposes. They don't offer weekend support if your vehicle breaks down, which could leave you in a tricky situation without any help. Plus, the breakdown number they give you doesn't even work, so you'd be on your own in an emergency. It's probably best to steer clear of this company and save yourself the hassle and money.

    Car rental experience

    I just wanted to share that my recent car rental experience was a total letdown. I was looking forward to a weekend getaway with a rented vehicle, but things went south pretty quickly. When I got to the pick-up spot, I was surprised to find out that the car I had booked wasn't even there. The staff seemed clueless about my reservation, which caused a long wait and a lot of wasted time. Eventually, they gave me a different car, but the whole process was far from smooth or efficient.

    On top of that, the replacement car was not in the greatest shape. It was obvious that it hadn't been cleaned or looked after properly, with a number of noticeable problems. This lack of care and maintenance was really disappointing and not a good look for the rental company.

    All in all, my experience with the car rental service was pretty shoddy, with unprofessionalism and inefficiency all over the place. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I can't just brush it off.

    Car rental experience at airport

    I had a really bad time with the car rental company at the airport. I hired a car and when I returned it, there was some damage which I had already taken photos of. Even though the damage was on the inspection report, they still charged me over £500 for two new tires. Customer service didn't help when I asked for a refund, so I had to get my credit card company involved to sort it out.

    Canceled booking issues

    I, like, tried to rent a van, but the app wouldn't work on my iPhone or my friend's Samsung phone. I had a whole crew waiting for materials, but we couldn't get into the van and had to send them home. I tried calling customer service, but it was a 3-hour waste of time. Stay away from this place, it's a total waste. What about my money though?
