    Costa Rica trip feedback

    Our trip to Costa Rica was amazing, it was even better than we thought it would be. The locals were so friendly, getting to our accommodations and checking in was easy, and the places we visited and activities we did were absolutely gorgeous. At first, I was a bit unsure, but I soon relaxed and had a great time in La Fortuna and Tamarindo. The only downside was that the transfers took longer than we anticipated, but that was just because of the traffic, not the driver's fault. All in all, it was a fantastic holiday in Costa Rica.

    The car pick-up and delivery service was an absolute nightmare. I told them exactly where my car was parked, but when I got there, they couldn't find it and I was left waiting for ages. I was sent to different floors in the car park multiple times before they finally located it. It was so frustrating and a huge waste of my time.

    When I got back to London, the customer service was just as bad. The person I spoke to on the phone was really rude and not helpful at all, which just made everything worse after the stressful car collection experience. And to top it all off, when I got home, I realised that some valuable items had been stolen from my car, like coins and camping equipment. It's completely unacceptable how unsecure and unprofessional they were, so I strongly recommend avoiding this service.

    I recently bought a chest of drawers from the furniture warehouse and I have to say, the service I got was top-notch all the way through.     Airport transfer service

    I've used this company's airport transfer service a few times. The first time was fine, but the other times weren't great. The second time, the driver seemed tired and was driving dangerously, so I reported it. The third time, the service was okay, but the Meet and Greet didn't work properly. My most recent experience was awful. I had booked a pick-up at Gatwick airport for 11.30pm, but my flight was delayed and I landed at 1.15am. I tried to contact the driver by text and phone, but got no response. As a solo female traveller, I was stranded in the middle of the night. When I called the main number, the operator couldn't reach the driver and just got me an Uber instead. The next morning, when I called to complain, the person I spoke to didn't show any concern or apologise. Despite asking to speak to a manager, I was refused. I complained formally, but only got a small refund and vague promises of improvement. This company lacks trustworthiness and reliability, which are essential for taxi firms. Their careless attitude is unacceptable.

    It's just shocking how Enjoy Travel works with such dishonest partners like SixT. Disappointed, I decided to reach out to the brand directly for help. Their PR company, 3 Monkeys Zeno, was really helpful and offered to replace the affected bottle and even gave me some extras. While I appreciate the quick response, the customer service from The Drink Shop has made me hesitant to buy from them again. I will still enjoy the product itself, though.

    Cut from trying on a jacket

    I was unfortunate enough to get a cut on my neck while trying on a jacket in the shop. I was quite shocked when it drew blood.     Leaking toilet repair

    I'm gutted to say this is the third time the engineer has been over to fix my leaky toilet. Every time I flush, there's a leak and I figured it must be the pipe going into the toilet or the flange it's sitting on causing the problem. Each time, including the last visit, the engineer just put the pipe back in place and said it shouldn't happen again. I'm not feeling too reassured anymore though, seeing as the same problem has popped up twice now.

    The service from the repair company and the engineer has been great, they've always been quick to respond and came to check things out on the same day. Everyone has been polite, so I'm really hoping the issue is sorted now.

    Oh my word, you wouldn't believe the dreadful time I had at that place. Honestly, I just wanted some help for my poor, unwell pet and all I received was impolite treatment and judgement from the staff. I understand accidents can happen, but if you're a vet, you should be able to prevent them. And let's not even start discussing the CEO, they really need to face reality! A bit of kindness and understanding is all we're asking for. We're not all after handouts, some of us genuinely contribute when we can. The least they can do is treat us respectfully.     I had a bit of a letdown with the garden department from this company recently. I ordered some plants and clematis online, hoping to get some nice, healthy ones. When they arrived, though, three of the plants were dead, covered in mould, and all dried up. The two clematis that did survive were puny and not worth the money. I wasn't happy with the quality of the stuff they sent me and started to doubt if I should keep buying from their supplier.

    I complained to the company and they gave me a refund. But I was disappointed that they didn't say sorry and just gave me a generic response saying they couldn't fulfil my order. Overall, my experience with the garden department was pretty bad and now I'm not sure if I want to buy anything else from them in the future.

    The price I paid for sending my parcel overseas was really good, and the service was fast and dependable.     The curtain making course at Create Academy was really great - I learned so much. I already had a bit of knowledge with blinds and cafe/counter curtains, but this course really helped me to expand my skills. Gemma, the instructor, was excellent at explaining things clearly and showing us the different stitch types. Having visual references throughout the course was a big help too. I'm excited about the idea of Gemma creating more courses, especially one on interlined curtains and London blinds. I've already signed up and I'm working through all the content eagerly.

    My experience with Just Go Holidays was a bit of a mixed bag. The driver we had for our day trip was really knowledgeable and made the journey fun by sharing interesting insights and facts about the places we went to. Firstly, I've had to keep chasing up claims because they seem to be taking forever to process. Then there have been times when doctors haven't been paid for legitimate claims, and that's caused some tension with my healthcare providers. The staff have also been pretty unhelpful and rude whenever I've had to deal with them, making the whole situation even more frustrating. And let's not even get started on how long it takes for the company to reply to any correspondence - if they bother to reply at all! Overall, my experience with this health insurance provider has been super stressful and now I really wish I'd gone with a different company for my insurance.
