Additional credit purchase
I bought some extra credits on this platform so I could sign up for a particular class. But when I got there, turns out the class was already fully booked. Still, they went ahead and charged me for the credits anyway. I contacted customer service and they told me there are no refunds for the credits. It's really frustrating that they have this policy, customers shouldn't be charged unless they can actually get a spot in the class.
Frustrating credit system
The credit system really gets on my nerves! If you're someone who's always on the go like me and you have extra credits left, it's too bad. They won't allow you to hold on to those points if you decide to cancel your membership. It's a cunning tactic for them to hang on to your cash that you worked hard for, especially when unexpected things come up in life.
Deceptive billing practices
I just can't believe how cheeky this company is! I decided to take a few classes with ClassPass, only to find out later on that they've been sneakily charging me a monthly fee for a subscription I never signed up for. And to top it off, their customer support was no help at all - just sending me unhelpful, standard messages that didn't solve my problem. It's obvious that all they care about is making money, not actually providing good service to their customers.
Frustrating cancellation chaos
The idea is good, but I've found that wellness businesses tend to cancel appointments far too often, causing a lot of hassle for me. I ended up losing a whole month's worth of credits because of all these cancellations. On one occasion, a massage place cancelled on me only 10 minutes before my appointment. Then another time, I got to a place only for them to say they'd given my slot away to someone else without even saying sorry. What's even worse is that Classpass then asked me to buy a new membership just to use the credits I'd already lost.
Monthly subscription issue
I had a problem recently where my monthly subscription payment didn't go through, even though my card details were the same. Despite having credits left, they cancelled my subscription and blocked my credits. The customer service I got was terrible, they didn't even help when I had a class starting soon. It's disappointing to see such a lack of empathy for customers, especially when there are other choices out there.
Top-up issue
I recently added money to my account on this platform, but I can't seem to book any classes. It's really frustrating. On top of that, I can't even see the schedules for gyms in London. When I tried reaching out to customer service, they were no help whatsoever. It's so disappointing and annoying.
Wasted credits
Oh mate, trust me, don't bother with this fitness app. It's a right rubbish one! It's like chucking your money down the drain! The app is a complete nightmare - full of bugs, dead slow, and just plain confusing. And the most annoying thing is that your hard-earned money just disappears without a trace. It's like some dodgy magic show, but definitely not the good kind. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this app.
Membership issues
I left a review on May 8 expressing my frustrations, and was told to get in touch with customer service. Unfortunately, I never received a response after reaching out. Since then, more issues have come up, and I've been charged again with no solution in sight. I really wouldn't recommend signing up for a membership with this company. Even though it might seem like a great offer at first, the hidden fees and poor customer service will end up making you spend more in the long term. It seems like Classpass just takes your money without admitting to their errors.
Frustrating credit system
The credit system can be an absolute nightmare, especially if you've had your fair share of injuries. Having to go through the hassle of explaining your personal health issues to customer service just to use your credits is absolutely ridiculous. The lack of flexibility and understanding is really disappointing and just makes the whole experience a real pain. It's really disheartening that even after two years, the system is still just as inflexible and unchanged.
New member experience
I'm a new member and I had a really frustrating problem with my account getting shut down and losing all my free credits because the system thought I was committing fraud. Even though I gave them loads of info about how I signed up and my account, customer service was no help at all in fixing things. They just kept saying I had to pay if I wanted to use the service without actually sorting out what went wrong. It made me feel let down and put off as a new customer.
First Class Cancelled
I was really looking forward to trying out this new fitness class on the platform. But, just an hour before it was due to start, I got the news that it had been cancelled. It was such a letdown and honestly, it left me feeling pretty annoyed. I had actually made time in my busy schedule for it, so the lack of communication or other options really left a bad taste in my mouth.
