Turns out, the other company was actually based in the UK, not the US as I was initially informed. Ultimately, they just advised me to cancel my purchase and forfeit my insurance payment. I'd much rather support a business that is true to their word.

I bought a pair of designer shoes on sale from this shop thinking I'd get a bargain on a luxury brand. I bought some dining furniture from Fabb Furniture not long ago, but sadly, I haven't been too happy with how things turned out. The people in the store were nice, and the delivery guys did their job quickly, but overall, I've been let down. I ordered some dining chairs in January and was hoping they would be with me by the end of March. However, they didn't arrive until May, and when they did, two of the four chairs were damaged. One chair had only three legs, so I couldn't even use it. I had to send all four chairs back so they could be replaced.

Travel experience with English-speaking group in Texas
Despite having a good start with the company, I was really let down by the group leaders on the Texas trip. Even though I made it clear that I wasn't great at speaking English, they didn't make any effort to help me out. I didn't get any written information about the trip, even though I can read English fine. And when my phone broke, they didn't do anything to assist me, apart from a friendly bus driver. On top of that, I got left alone in a square in Dallas with no way of getting in touch with the group leaders or finding my own way back. When I made it back to the hotel by myself, nobody talked to me about what happened. It's really important for the company to be more prepared for situations like this and communicate better to stop it from happening again. If they had just talked to me properly, everything could have been sorted out easily.
