    I purchased some tickets and later discovered that they were being sold at a lower price elsewhere. Turns out, the other company was actually based in the UK, not the US as I was initially informed. Ultimately, they just advised me to cancel my purchase and forfeit my insurance payment.     Travel experience with English-speaking group in Texas

    Despite having a good start with the company, I was really let down by the group leaders on the Texas trip. Even though I made it clear that I wasn't great at speaking English, they didn't make any effort to help me out. I didn't get any written information about the trip, even though I can read English fine. And when my phone broke, they didn't do anything to assist me, apart from a friendly bus driver. On top of that, I got left alone in a square in Dallas with no way of getting in touch with the group leaders or finding my own way back. When I made it back to the hotel by myself, nobody talked to me about what happened. It's really important for the company to be more prepared for situations like this and communicate better to stop it from happening again. If they had just talked to me properly, everything could have been sorted out easily.
