Blood test kit
I sent off my finger blood test kit last Thursday, the 4th, and was hoping to get my results back quickly. The kit made it to the lab the very next day, and the lab managed to analyse the results by Monday, the 8th, which I thought was pretty impressive. However, I was a bit let down when I found out that the results weren't looked at by a doctor and uploaded to the dashboard until the 11th of April. This meant I had to wait an extra 4 days just to see what the results were, which was quite frustrating. It would have been much better if they were uploaded sooner so that a doctor could have a look as soon as possible. On a positive note, all my male hormone levels came back and proved to be very useful.
Blood test sampling issue
The service was really quick and efficient, and I was relieved when my results came back as "normal". However, I had a bit of a problem during the blood sampling. They said the vial had to be filled up to the "600" line, but the lancets they gave me didn't get enough blood out. I had to think on my feet and use a scalpel blade and some mole grips to get the job done, which was a bit messy. But I eventually managed to fill up the vial before the blood started to clot. Now that my scars are healing, I can at least feel good knowing that my liver and kidneys are doing fine.
Health test kit purchase
This was my first time buying a health test kit from Forth, and I have to say, I was really impressed with the service I received. When I contacted them with a question, their customer service team got back to me quickly and were very helpful. What I liked was that I could choose from a range of affordable add-ons to create my own personalised test, which suited my needs perfectly. The ability to customise my test is what made me choose Forth over the lab I had been using for years.

Software purchase for online Dashboard.
I followed all the criteria they gave me, but for some reason, the results just wouldn't show up on my Dashboard. It was really frustrating that there was no phone support available to help me out - I could only communicate through email, which made things even more challenging. They kept saying the results were there to look at, but when I tried to explain that I couldn't see anything, it felt like I was going in circles. Not being able to actually talk to someone about the problems I was facing just added to the frustration.
Testosterone test purchase
I paid for a testosterone test and was really let down by the service I got. The app said I could discuss my results with a doctor, but they disappeared without giving me any feedback. When I reached out to customer service, they told me that my blood cell analysis failed because some of them burst - possibly because I squeezed my finger too hard during the test. I reluctantly paid £10 for another test pack, but even when I followed the instructions carefully and didn't squeeze my fingers at all, they said my blood cells burst again and couldn't give me any results.
In the end, I found a competitor online who not only charges less for their tests but also doesn't make you pay for a second sample pack. I definitely won't be using Forth again for my testing needs.Cortisol Test
I bought a cortisol test not long ago and I must say, it was a massive let down. This test needed a lot of blood which should really be taken by a nurse, not by me at home. Even though they knew it probably wouldn't work because burst blood cells are a common problem, the company still sent it to me.

Although we had some trouble with the blood sample at first, the customer service team were really helpful and offered some good suggestions. They also sent us a replacement test for free. The results came back quickly and gave us some really useful information.

Self-test kit purchase
I bought a self-test kit recently and I was really disappointed with it. It was supposed to be easy to use, but I just couldn't get enough blood for the test. It was really frustrating and I think the advertising was misleading. I had to order a different test in the end, but I didn't get any discount or refund for the first kit that was useless. The only way this kit works is if someone else helps you draw the blood. The report and results were good, but the whole experience at the start was just a waste of time and money.
Quick response but unhelpful results
I contacted Forth to get some specific information, but all they said was that everything was normal for my age. I mean, what's the point of that? I want detailed information, not just a general response. It's been a week and I still haven't received a proper answer. It's okay if you only need basic information, but you can easily get that from your doctor for free! Definitely not worth the cost.
