Genetics test kit
I was dead chuffed when I got this fancy DNA test kit to have a go with. The box itself looked proper posh and official, like something you'd see in a spy film. Inside, there were loads of tiny bottles and tubes, proper felt like I was in a science lab! Only snag was the instructions were proper muddled, especially about using the needle. I had to ask my mum for a hand, and even she was a bit unsure at first. But once we sussed it, it was a right laugh collecting my DNA sample and sending it off for testing. Can't wait to get my results back and learn all about my family tree and that!
Test purchase
I bought a genetic testing kit for one of my family members and was really impressed by the results - they were informative and detailed, and came back super quick. I was so chuffed with it that I decided to get another one. However, I was let down by the customer service when I asked about a family discount I'd seen on their website. The employee I spoke to, Usman, wasn't very helpful and kind of just ended the conversation without giving me a proper answer. Because of this, I don't think I'll be getting any more tests from them.

I must say, I was really panicking when I noticed I had lost my paperwork for the Ultimate Couples Test. DNA Testing
I was so excited to finally get my DNA test results, but I was getting a bit worried when they didn't arrive after a few days. I even thought they might have ended up in my spam folder! Luckily, I decided to reach out to the live chat support, and Angel was an absolute lifesaver. She was really helpful and didn't waste any time in getting back to me. I passed on my order number, and in no time at all, I had my results in hand. The customer service was just fantastic and really improved my overall experience.
Lateral flow test
I bought a lateral flow test, but it turned out to be a waste of money. It arrived quite fast, but when I did everything as instructed, the test showed up as invalid. I was a bit let down that there wasn't another opportunity to try again. It's odd that they don't include an extra lateral flow cartridge in the box, given that they give duplicates of everything else. I wouldn't suggest taking a chance with this test and spending your money on it.

I needed an ovarian cancer blood test because of my family history, but my local surgery wasn't very helpful. They said I'd already had my 75-year blood test when I'm only 69, so I decided to buy a test from your company instead. It was quick and easy, like getting a Covid test. I really liked how convenient and efficient your service was, and I'll definitely use it again in the future. It's disappointing to feel like the NHS has forgotten about older people like me.

Nutritional Therapist Consultation
I was a bit gutted with my test results originally, as they didn't show any allergies or intolerances that I was convinced I had. But, after having a chat with Maria M. Griffiths, the nutritional therapist, I came to understand about this thing called gut memory and why the test didn't pick up on those problems. Apparently, it was because I hadn't eaten those foods for more than 4 months, which messed with the results.
Home testing kit
The instructions for that home testing kit were terrible. How can they expect normal folk to measure out 80 micro litres precisely? It's just not realistic! And that 'capillary tube' they gave was useless, with no line to show the right amount. So, the test was a total flop and I wasted my money on something that didn't do the job. It's really annoying when you're trying to look after your health and you get disappointed by such rubbish and inadequate guidance.
