    Oh my goodness, if you're relocating to Germany, you need to check out GetSafe - it's absolutely fantastic!     Dog Surgery Insurance purchase

    I had an absolutely awful experience when my dog's surgery insurance got switched to this company. Out of nowhere, they hiked up the premium by five times without even giving me a heads up or explaining why. It honestly felt like a massive breach of trust and I just felt completely ripped off. The way they lack transparency and don't bother to communicate properly is just disgraceful. I urge you to stay well clear of them, trust me.

Despite that, I still noticed the money being taken out of my bank account. I also got 10 wrong emails, with constant apologies but no actual action being taken. I've had enough, so it's goodbye from me!

    Home insurance disaster

    This home insurance company is a complete nightmare. Last weekend, I had a sewage flood and was really in need of help. But you know what? There was no one to assist me. My things got ruined, and the smell is just disgusting. It's so annoying to pay for insurance and then not get the help you require when things go wrong. I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company.

    Cat health insurance

    An unauthorized debit - very unprofessional!!! I switched my cat's health insurance from Coya to Luko to Getsafe. Many others here are in the same boat - my original insurance was cancelled on 31st May and they offered me a new one from 1st June with much higher premiums and worse coverage. I raised my concerns about the tariff change and the new contract within the given timeframe. An employee called "Julia" from Getsafe sent me an email on 27th May confirming that my contract would not be renewed from 1st June. Despite this, since then, I've been bombarded with emails asking me to add a payment method because they couldn't debit the premium. They said they would now do so via direct debit, even though I didn't authorise this for the non-existent contract. Today, on 6th June, Getsafe actually took money from my account without asking. I've blocked the transaction. I haven't seen such a mess of a company in a long time. I strongly recommend against entering into a contract with them. Let's wait and see what happens next.

    I'm really annoyed with this pet insurance company. They took over my previous one, Luko, which was great. The customer service at first seemed fine, but then they tripled my monthly payment without warning! I cancelled it through the app and confirmed it by email, yet they still tried to take the money from my account. When I complained, they apologised but still took the payment. I couldn't get through to anyone on the phone or app, so now I think I'll have to escalate this to their higher-ups to sort it out. Unbelievable!

    I must say, my experience with this insurance company has been absolutely awful. I needed to submit a liability claim, and they not only took forever to respond, but they also rejected my claim for reasons that seemed completely irrelevant. Now, I have no option but to take legal action against them because the way they dealt with my claim was totally unethical.

    I've had a bit of a rough ride with this insurance company. They were pretty quick at sorting out small claims, but their customer service really lets them down. I've had a hard time getting hold of anyone on the phone, and when I finally did, all I got was unhelpful standard responses to my emails. It seems like the only time they bother getting in touch is to try and push more insurance on me. To top it off, they raised my premium from 25€ to 53€ without any proper explanation.

    When I tried to dispute it through the app, the button didn't even work, so I couldn't raise my concerns. I had to resort to cancelling through the chatbot, and I still haven't received confirmation, even though they've already taken the higher fee out of my account. Now I've had to contact my bank to reverse the charges. The lack of communication, poor service, and inability to look after customer accounts properly means this insurance company is definitely one to steer clear of.

    So, over the past few weeks, I've had some pretty terrible experiences. Recent experiences took a bunch of money from my account without even letting me know, can you believe it? Turns out they forgot to collect one of my premiums since last October and then decided to take it all at once. Not cool at all! On top of that, they doubled the price of my dog's health insurance, which is just so unfair. And to make matters worse, a lawyer got in touch about an issue I had already sorted out ages ago. It was all really confusing and frustrating. I still don't understand what I'm actually paying for and why they haven't been processing my claims. I don't have much faith that they'll actually be there to help me when I need them. Definitely time to look for a new provider.
