    3D Printing with M5

    I started my 3D printing journey with the M5 model about 7 months ago, and overall, I'm glad I did. The AnkerSlicer software is still a work in progress and can be a bit tricky, plus there have been some hardware issues and spare parts availability problems. Despite all that, I've managed to create some really nice things with good quality, and the machine has been pretty forgiving of my beginner mistakes. The support team has been helpful in solving any problems that come up, even offering creative solutions with spare parts. The website could use some improvements for easier navigation, but overall, keep it up, and you'll definitely earn five stars from me.

    In general, I had a good experience at this shop. The website was simple to use, and I discovered some lovely clothes and accessories to buy. However, I did have a problem with the "Contact us" link on the order confirmation page. It was annoying not being able to easily get in touch with customer service when I needed help. Also, I noticed that the link to this survey for customers who shop from the European store wasn't working properly either. This made me doubt the website's technical features and customer support.

    I really like the new printer and how easy it is to print with it. I tried using a different slicer and so far it's been good. The filament smells nice too, but I'm still checking some details. The website could use some improvements, especially when trying to accept cookies before placing an order. I also noticed that the "Leave a review" link takes me to a 404 error page on Trustpilot. It's weird that the company profile is unclaimed and they're asking for reviews.

    I've just bought some educational materials and I'm really looking forward to checking them out. I'm always trying to find new resources to make my teaching more interesting and successful, so I'm hopeful that these materials will be useful.     The M5 printer I bought has been a brilliant addition to my workspace. I've been using it for the last 7 months and it's been working really well, producing high-quality prints every time. When I look at my old Vyper printer now, it just seems outdated and not as efficient as the M5.

    Purchase of custom-branded merchandise

    I was really disappointed with the custom-branded merchandise from Ankermake. The quality of the print was so bad, nothing like what I expected. The colours were faded, and the design looked all pixelated and blurry. I was planning to use these items for promotion, but they just looked unprofessional.

    I even compared them to products I bought from another company for way less money, and the quality difference was obvious. To top it off, Ankermake wouldn't take the stuff back or give me a refund. I was left feeling really unhappy with their poor print quality and lack of customer service.

    Faulty printer purchase

    The printer I bought from this place was faulty when it arrived. The customer service took forever to figure out what was wrong, even though I gave them the fault logs on the very first day. I had to send the logs again on day 2 and day 3 before they actually admitted there was a problem. By then, I'd lost faith in the company and asked for my money back. The whole thing was a complete disaster, with the company being slow to reply and messing up the courier arrangements. It's been more than three weeks now, and I still haven't got my refund of over £600.

    Ankermake M5C

    Oh my gosh, I bought this Ankermake thing and it was awful. It kept causing issues, so I had it replaced. But the new one was just as bad. I contacted customer service and we agreed I could return it for a refund. I sent it back quickly on 26th February 2024, but I'm still waiting for my money back. They said they've sorted it out twice already, at the beginning of week 9 and the beginning of week 10, but nothing has happened. Even Amazon says it's not their concern. Now, I have to resort to the legal system, which is really annoying. 🙁

    M5 All Metal Hotend Set

    My experience with the M5 All Metal Hotend Set from AnkerMake has been quite disappointing. I placed my order and paid for it back in September, but it didn't arrive until November, and that was only after I had to send them an email to chase it up. When it eventually turned up, there was no documentation or instructions included, so I had to figure out how to install it on my own. I had to reach out to their support team for help, and they only sent me a link to the assembly instructions after I had already installed the part. To make matters worse, Anker had managed to damage the screws during installation, and all they could suggest was for me to send them pictures so they could send me replacement screw data as they didn't have any in stock.

    They claimed that the hotend could reach temperatures up to 300°C, but I found that I couldn't set it any higher than 260°C, which meant I couldn't use my expensive Carbon filament as I had hoped. The autoleveling feature caused errors twice, and the support team was not very helpful in resolving these issues. The iOS app interface is poorly designed, and the tools included in the set are of low quality and can easily damage the parts. The AI monitoring system was both time-consuming and unreliable, and the slicer software is still in its beta stage.

    Overall, it seems that AnkerMake is more focused on making sales rather than improving their products. I regret buying the M5 All Metal Hotend Set, and I certainly wouldn't purchase it again.

    Pay in 3 messed up refund

    I was really looking forward to ordering from this shop as I had heard they had amazing items. I decided to use pay in 3 to split the payment for my purchase into instalments. Unfortunately, when I had to cancel my order, they made a mistake with my refund. I was really let down because I had heard such good reviews about this shop and was excited to receive my order. Now they're not responding to my emails, so I've had to escalate the issue with my bank to get my money back. It's such a hassle and I'm feeling quite upset about how things have turned out.
