Spotted something odd on the Santorini bag — the gallery tag said 'vegan leather' but the product blurb later states '100% grain leather'. Bit annoying and misleading. Glad I checked the description before buying, otherwise I'd have ended up with real leather. Other shops are clearer, so I appreciated saving myself that hassle. Not ideal. But relieved.
A mate's nudge and quick replies
I spotted the bag on Instagram because a mate sent it to me and I was curious but wary about pre-ordering something I hadn't seen. I emailed about a sold-out colour and expected a slow reply or a vague auto-reply, but they got back straight away and told me when it’d be back and that I could pre-order directly. That clear help eased my doubts, so I went ahead. Still can’t vouch for the finish yet, but service was ace.
Looks nice, doesn't last
Sat on my dressing table, the crown looked sweet but felt flimsy — bits started flaking off before I'd even worn it properly. I sent it back and got an exchange, same story, so a bit annoying. Earrings also lost their clip after one wear. Feels like they skimp on materials. If you want something that lasts, I'd ask for sturdier photos or steer clear.
Mostly happy, small snag
Honestly, I'm quite taken with the bag, even though the name tag annoyed me. The leather feels soft and the tan is a grown-up shade — classy. It's big enough for my laptop, water bottle and the usual day-to-day stuff. I had my full first name personalised on the tag but the J sits oddly, shallower than the other letters, almost like a lower-case or mispressed mark, so I'll probably take the tag off — it will bug me. Apart from that, lovely bag.
Not worth the hassle
Not happy with this one — I'd avoid buying personalised items here. I bought a Santorini Maxi Tan luxe vegan leather and canvas oversized tote with a small personalised tag, mainly for my daily commute and quick shopping runs; the bag felt cheap so I tried to return it. There was no clear warning about no-returns on personalised pieces, and the tag was tiny, probably only about £15. I sent it back, but two months on they've neither refunded nor returned the bag. Pretty frustrating.
Long wait, mixed feelings
the tag said 'vegan leather' but the product page mentioned grain leather, so I messaged support (short, clear reply) and it turned out the model I picked is indeed vegan. The bag itself is solid, neat stitching, and reasonably priced, and I’ve been using it every day for three weeks without any scuffs. Still annoyed by the confusing labelling, but overall fairly pleased — could be clearer though.
Credit finally showed up
I bought a bag that started coming apart in under a year, and at first I thought, here we go again — another brand that doesn't last. I contacted support, they ghosted me for a bit, website even promised repair or replacement. Then JLR offered store credit, which I didn't love because everything's pricier now, but I logged in and the credit wasn't visible so I stayed sceptical. The turning point came when the credit actually appeared and someone confirmed how to use it; that was the moment I felt they'd sorted it. Not perfect, took time, but issue resolved — I’ll update if anything changes.
Late but eventually sorted
the team fixed it eventually and delivery of the replacement (yes, I reordered) was fine. Not flawless, but I’m back to being pleased rather than annoyed. Still, I'd order from them again, cautiously.
Second thoughts, then a surprise fix
I almost didn’t buy another one — prices had crept up and I kept reading the same moans about stitching and handles. But the design won me over (again), so I gave it one more shot. Predictably, after about five months the handle started to fray and a seam came loose — sigh, there I go being annoyed. I emailed and messaged on Instagram and, to my surprise, they did reply this time. It wasn’t instant fairy-tale service, but they offered a repair and a small credit which honestly calmed me down. So yes, I was sceptical beforehand and half-expecting to rant here, but the repair fixed the worst bits and it’s actually back in regular use. Would I warn people about quality? Sure — be careful and maybe expect to need a fix. But if you love the look and don’t mind a little back-and-forth, it’s not the end of the world.
Odd start, sorted later
I ordered two bags about six weeks ago and only started using one a couple of days after delivery, so I had a proper look straight away. The delivery itself was slow — tracked parcel showed delays and the contact number on the site never answered, which made me worried. When I asked for a refund after deciding to return them I got a string of automated replies and then silence, despite having proof of posting. That part was frustrating and I was ready to escalate. On the upside, once I finally got a human, Elle handled it properly, apologised and processed the refund without fuss. So the customer service ended up being good, even if it took time to get there. Price felt reasonable for what the bags are, but the communications around delivery and returns need work. All in all I'm relieved and pleased it was resolved, though I wouldn't recommend buying without patience. Thanks to Elle for sorting it calmly.
Vegan leather bag purchase
I was really let down by the vegan leather bag I bought from this store. It just looked so cheap and plastic-like, not like I thought it would at all. Also, the keyring on the bag had my initials on it so I couldn't return it because of the store's policy. I definitely wouldn't suggest buying this bag.
Beautiful item
Recently, I bought something lovely from this place. But, there was a problem with the delivery because the address had the wrong postcode. Because of this, I didn't get my parcel on time. Luckily, I reached out to the customer service team via WhatsApp and they were very helpful. They quickly sorted things out with Royal Mail for me, which was a relief because Royal Mail wasn't very helpful when I contacted them myself. Even though there was a hiccup at the start, I eventually got my parcel and I have to say, the item is absolutely stunning. I'm really impressed with the quality of the product and I would definitely shop here again.
A+++++ for Customer Service
I recently placed an order and made a small mistake. I contacted Customer Services and they quickly and efficiently answered my query. I highly recommend them!
Personalised bag
I messed up when I ordered my personalised bag without initials, but luckily the customer service team sorted it out quickly for me. I sent an email explaining my mistake, and they got back to me right away, saying they could add the initials to my order. They sent out the bag the next day, which was great because I needed it for a special event. Overall, I was really impressed with how well the team at this store communicated and how efficient they were.
Bag falling apart
I bought a bag from this store and it started falling apart after just a few months of using it. The quality is really poor, with the edges coming off in only 3 months and the handle snapping off after 18 months. When I got in touch with customer services, I was really let down by their response. They only offered me a £10 voucher for an £85 bag that isn't even 2 years old! I think they should have taken the bag back to check the faults and given me a full refund. I chose not to accept the voucher and will be getting rid of the bag now.
First leather bag with personalization
I've just bought my first leather bag with personalisation, and I've got to say, I'm really impressed with the quality and service. I placed the order on Pre-Order and it arrived swiftly, only 7 days after the release date. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with 2 extra straps, giving the bag even more options, which I didn't even know about. The leather is so soft and luxurious, and the personalisation is spot on. I'm really pleased with my purchase and I'll definitely be coming back for more in the future.
Vegan leather bag purchase
I absolutely love the vegan leather bag I bought from this brand - it's so beautiful! The quality is really impressive, and the style is so unique. I'm a big fan of supporting London-based brands, and Johnny Loves Rosie has quickly become one of my favourites. However, my first delivery experience wasn't the greatest. The courier actually lost my package, but when I got in touch with customer service, they were really quick to sort everything out. They sent a replacement to my work address, and I finally got it this morning. Despite the little hiccup with the delivery, I'm a really happy customer and will definitely be shopping with them again. Huge thanks for the fantastic customer service!
Three high-quality bags
I absolutely love the bags from this company. The quality is top-notch and the designs are so versatile, perfect for all different tastes. I've bought three bags from them now and they've become my favourite brand for this kind of accessory. I really like that you can personalise the bags or add a little tag to make them extra special. Plus, I got a cute bow bag charm for free with my orders, which was a lovely bonus. Their customer service is amazing too, they always respond quickly to any questions or worries. I definitely suggest this brand to anyone who wants stylish, good-quality bags.
Handbags purchase
I'm really chuffed with the quality of the handbags I bought from this company. The craftsmanship is spot on, each bag feels lush and well-made. The customer service was top-notch too, with the staff being really clued up and friendly, making me feel like a valued customer. I'm now a regular shopper here and I keep wanting to add more bags to my collection. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top-notch handbags.
Carrie bag, accessories, powder blue, free bow, personalisation, excellent customer service
I recently bought my first item from this brand, and I have to say I am absolutely impressed. I decided on the Carrie bag and accessories set in a gorgeous powder blue colour, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. The quality of the products is amazing, and I was so thrilled to receive a free bow as an unexpected bonus with my order. The option for complimentary personalisation really made my purchase feel special, adding a unique and personal touch. The whole set is just so lovely and definitely worth the price.
