My experience with North East Tackle Supplies was really disappointing. At first, I thought their website had a great range of fishing gear and good prices. But then, when my order didn't turn up even though it was meant to be in stock, I got frustrated. I paid extra for quick delivery, so I expected my stuff to arrive soon, but it didn't. Their responses to my emails asking about my order were not helpful at all, which made me even more disappointed. It seemed like their customer service team didn't really care about my concerns or that I had paid for things I never got. Even when I cancelled my order, it took ages for me to get a refund. Overall, my first impression of this shop was really bad because they were not professional and didn't seem to care about keeping customers happy. I would recommend looking somewhere else for your fishing gear.
Fishing gear
The customer service at North East Tackle Supplies is really great! I sent them an email with a query about my order and got a response in just 2 hours. They told me one of the things I wanted was out of stock, but they let me know straight away and I could change my order without any bother. The really good thing is they do next day delivery, even to Northern Ireland! Don't let any negative reviews put you off, I'll definitely be back for more fishing gear in the future.
Savage gear power game rod 50g 100g
I bought the Savage gear power game rod in the 50g to 100g range from North East Tackle Supplies recently, and I have to say I'm really impressed with both the rod and the service I received from the company. They delivered the rod quickly and in perfect condition, all set for my next fishing trip. I love fishing, so I'm excited to try out this new rod and see if I can catch some big pike with it. I want to thank North East Tackle Supplies for their great service and high-quality products.
Fishing gear purchase
I have to admit, I made the mistake of giving this company another chance after a really bad experience in the past. However, this time around, I was actually quite pleasantly surprised! The service I received was top-notch, the delivery arrived in a reasonably quick time, and the pricing was honestly the best I could find out there for what I purchased. I feel it's only fair to update my previous review now.
Vass hoodie purchase
I recently bought a Vass hoodie online from North East Tackle Supplies. The website said it was in stock, and I got an order confirmation and payment deduction. After waiting 10 days with no hoodie, I got in touch with customer service. They told me it was out of stock and they weren't sure when they'd get more. I had to ask for a refund and wait for that to go through. I was pretty let down by the lack of info about stock levels and the slow communication about the item's availability.
Gloves
I ordered a pair of gloves ages ago, but they still haven't shown up. I've tried ringing and everything, but it's been weeks now and I'm still gloveless. What a complete waste of time!
Fishing tackle purchase
I recently bought some fishing gear from this shop, and I have to say, it was a bit of a letdown. The ordering process was fine, but the service I got wasn't great. Braided line spools
I wanted to order 3 spools of braided fishing line, but they only had 2 in stock. I decided to take the last two, but after a week of waiting for updates, I had to email them myself. The reply I got was that the spools were not in stock and I would have to wait. They apologized, but after my second email, they ignored me completely and didn't give me any information on when the item would be available or how their ordering process actually works. It was a complete waste of time and very unprofessional!

If I get my money back quickly, I might change my negative review. Come on, sort it out, guys!

I bought some fishing gear from a shop not long ago and it didn't go very well, I'm afraid. I paid extra for first-class delivery, but after waiting a whole week and still not getting my stuff, I had to get in touch with customer service. The person I spoke to wasn't much help and just gave me a tracking link, which showed that my order was actually sent 2nd class. It goes without saying, I was pretty let down by the service I got.
Fishing rod purchase
I bought a fishing rod from this company recently, and I have to say, I'm really disappointed with the quality of their products and customer service. When I used the rod for the second time, I noticed that the first three rings were missing, which happened within the first month of me buying it. When I contacted the company for help, they didn't reply or didn't want to deal with the issue. They either ignored my messages completely or took weeks to get back to me, only to say that their insurance doesn't cover the damage. I asked for a full refund, but they kept ignoring my requests. In my view, this company isn't reliable and should be avoided at all costs.
Fishing Rod
I purchased a fishing rod from North East Tackle Supplies on the 3rd of January. I received an email from them on the 5th stating that it had been dispatched, however, the courier never even had it in their possession. I attempted to inquire about it on the 11th and 12th, but they only responded on the 12th and informed me that it was out of stock and no longer available. Their service was dreadful, I would advise against buying from them!
Fishing tackle purchase
I've been fishing for quite some time now, and I've bought a fair bit of gear from North East Tackle Supplies. Every time, I've been really impressed with how efficient and professional they are. Whether it's high-quality rods, general tackle, reels, or luggage, NETS always gives me a great experience.
One time, I put in an order on a Friday morning at around 11 am. I was shocked when, within just 5 minutes, they confirmed my order and sent it out. I thought I'd have to wait until Monday for it to arrive, but it actually came on Saturday morning. The delivery was fully tracked with a specific time slot, and the packaging was really solid. My Century rod made it to me safe and sound.
I like the fact that they pack everything into fewer boxes, cutting down on waste. Sometimes, my cautious side made me wonder if they'd missed something, but NETS always makes sure to include everything I've ordered. All in all, I have total confidence in North East Tackle Supplies and I'd definitely recommend them to any other anglers out there.Fishing gear purchase
I had a disappointing experience with North East Tackle Supplies. I ordered some fishing gear online, only to realise that the items were not available. I tried to get in touch with them via email twice to check on my order, but I got no reply. The only good thing was that I paid using Paypal and managed to open a dispute to get my money back, although not the entire amount. They did call me at first to suggest different stock, but after that, they stopped communicating completely.
fishing line
brought some fishing line of these guys, the line they sent out had a broken spool so when opened all the line just fell and tangled off, emailed them to no reply, only fishing line i get it but and email back would of been nice
Various lures etc…….
Positives great prices but obviously a reason for this. Extremely poor service and delivery, or lack of delivery now 2 weeks later and still waiting. Called the number and response not what I wanted to hear. Would I order again depends if I get my current order!
Come on guys what happened to customer service?Thermo suit
I ordered a large oceanic thermo suit after getting a good price online for it. Arrived within 2 days of purchase but was too large for me. After speaking to one of their helpful customer assistants at the hartlepool store, explained my issue he was more than happy to exchange the product for me to a medium. After sending the product back within 2 days I recieved my new thermo suit. Delivery, staff, price and quality of product was all 5 star. I will be purchasing from your website in the future
Vass waders
Ordered a pair of waders a month ago and still no sign of them.Paid for fast delivery too.Said the item was in stock when I was ordering,I wouldn't mind if I was told they weren't in stock and you'd have to wait awhile,but no,take your money and leave you waiting.Avoid

Ordered gut 2 weeks ago and still waiting, when rung after a week was told its on the way. Still not here. Awful service
