I have been shopping at this online store for well over a decade now, and I've had a mix of experiences with my purchases. When I first started, I didn't really pay much attention to the quality of the items I was buying and had to send a few things back because they weren't up to scratch. However, as time has gone on, I've learned to do a bit more research before splashing the cash to make sure I get exactly what I want. The return charge has gone up a bit, which is a bit of a pain, but I do like that I have the option to keep the credit on my account instead of just taking it off my refund. I buy all sorts of stuff from this shop, from home goodies to women's gear, accessories, shoes, and even pressies for friends and family. I don't usually need help, but when I did have a problem recently, the customer service team really came through for me, thanking me for sticking with them and making sure they sorted everything out. All in all, I've had a good time with this store and will definitely keep coming back for all my style needs.
Multiple product orders
I shop quite a lot on Rue La La and have bought loads of stuff from them. But I'm a bit miffed that there aren't many reviews for the products on their website. How can I be sure that what I'm buying is top-notch if there are no opinions from other shoppers? Some things have been brilliant and met my expectations, but there have been times when the quality was rubbish and the items didn't match what was described on the website. It's annoying to splash out on something only for it to be a letdown. Rue La La really needs to step up their game and be more open about customer reviews.
Gold bracelet purchase
I bought a gold bracelet from this website not too long ago, but I was really let down when I realised it was actually just plastic. The quality was nowhere near what they had promised, and I was surprised by how little effort they put into checking their suppliers. Nevertheless, I have to give credit to Rue La La for being quick to sort out my return and making sure I wasn't left with a product that didn't live up to what I expected.
Dress purchase
The whole thing went quite well. I bought a dress about a week ago and then started fretting when I saw some dodgy reviews on the internet. But today the dress turned up, and lo and behold, it was spot on - the Adriane Pappelle dress in the correct size, no blemishes. It fitted nicely and I was rather taken with it. The one downside was the postage costs, which nearly made me stick with the dress even if I wasn't keen on it.
Purchased a new outfit
I got this really cool outfit online and I was buzzing to wear it to my mate's birthday bash. But you know what? It took absolute ages to arrive! I was checking the delivery status every day and it didn't budge. So frustrating!
Seat covers and blanket
In the last year, I've bought seat covers and a blanket from this company, and I've been really let down by the quality. The seat covers, which were £25 each, fell to bits after hardly any use, and the blanket I got fell apart after just one wash. To top it off, it costs £12 to return items, so it's not even worth the bother of sending back these pricey, poor-quality products. I definitely wouldn't advise buying anything from this company - it's just throwing money away.

I got these really cute bell-bottom jeans from Rue La La and I was absolutely buzzing to get them. Ordering them was a breeze and I managed to snag them at a decent price. The customer service was top-notch, they responded quickly to my query about sizing. The price I paid was totally worth it for the quality of the jeans I ended up with. The delivery was swift too, I had my jeans in my hands just a few days after ordering them.
Glasses and Earrings Purchase
I've just had a really disappointing experience with this online retailer. The stuff I got wasn't what was described on the website - the earrings were smaller than I thought and the frames were really rubbish. When I tried to get in touch with customer service to talk about it, I was met with unhelpful people who said they were supervisors but couldn't sort anything out. It's obvious that this company doesn't really care about their customers. On top of that, the shipping and return fees were way too expensive, which just made everything even more annoying. Overall, I wouldn't recommend shopping here because of the low-quality products, lack of support, and high fees.
Necklace and pendant purchase
I recently bought a necklace and pendant from Rue La La but sadly, the pendant was missing when the package arrived. I got in touch with customer service, and they said they'd send me a new pendant. However, the replacement didn't fit the necklace properly. When I wanted to return them, I found out that the return period had already ended, which was annoying. I've faced similar issues with Rue La La before, and I have to admit, it's been really disappointing. It's a shame that what looked like a good deal has ended up causing more hassle than it's worth.
Small-sized item
I got my order, but it turned out to be too small. I've been trying to send it back for weeks now, but I keep running into problems. The system doesn't seem to be working properly, so I had to ring up and chat with someone from customer service to get my return label. Even after sending the item back, I haven't heard anything more about it. It's been a real letdown and I won't be buying from here again, or suggesting it to anyone.

I bought this Portable Water Flosser Cordless Rechargeable recently and I was really let down by the quality. I followed the charging instructions for more than 4 hours, but the product just wouldn't charge. When I got in touch with customer service, all they did was say sorry without actually solving the problem. It's frustrating that a product on final sale turned out to be faulty.
Samual B ring purchase
I bought a ring from an online shop recently, but I was a bit let down with what I got. The ring was all bent out of shape, really thin, and seemed like it wasn't made from real stuff. It wasn't up to scratch with what I was hoping for. On top of that, the shop said they'd give me a label to send it back for free, but I still haven't got it. So now I'm feeling a bit unsure about how to sort it all out.
3 pairs of plastic shoes
I ordered 3 pairs of shoes that were supposed to be leather, but when they arrived, the manufacturer stickers on the soles said “woven upper” or “vegan leather”. It seems like they're trying to trick consumers into thinking they're buying leather shoes when they're actually plastic. It's misleading and definitely false advertising.
Fragrance purchase
Oh, no way! I bought this perfume online and when I tried it out, there was literally no smell at all. Can you believe it? What's the deal with selling perfumes if they don't even smell like anything? It's like getting a chocolate bar with no chocolate inside, totally pointless and let down. Thankfully, they did take it back, but the whole thing just left me feeling tricked and annoyed.
Presents ordered in December
I ordered a lot of gifts back in December, but they still haven't shown up! They supposedly got stuck in Customs over in the Netherlands, but when I got in touch with them, they said they had no clue about my package. The only connection I have is through Asendia, but they're not replying at all. I shelled out more than 1k USD on these things and now I'm starting to wonder if it's all just a con. It's been ages and I'm at a loss, might have to involve the police. What a headache!
Large value order, received incorrect items
What a letdown! I ordered a load of stuff and not only did I get the wrong thing, but two bits were missing entirely. Trying to get a refund has been an absolute nightmare.
