    Floral maxi dress

    Shoes from the online retailer.

    I recently bought a pair of shoes online, but I had to send them back because they didn't fit. When I asked for a return label, they told me I had to pay almost $19 for the return shipping, even though they say returns are supposed to be free. It was really annoying and disappointing that they weren't clear about it and their return policy seemed inconsistent.

    I also tried to talk to customer service over email, but they didn't give me any solution or even follow up on my worries, which made me feel like they were ignoring me and I wasn't happy with the service at all.

    All in all, my experience with this company was bad, so I would tell others to be careful when shopping here.

    Three items ordered

    I had a terrible experience with Shopbop! I ordered three items, had to return them, and getting a refund has been a nightmare. The manager said I'd get my money back in 5 days, but it's been over a month and still nothing. I've had to complain to the FTC and tell my lawyer. Shopbop's customer service is terrible and they have no issue lying to customers. Don't use this company!

    As someone who shops at Shopbop, I really like the quality of the products they have. However, I'm a bit disappointed with the high import fees I have to pay when I order to Canada. Unlike brands like Marc Jacobs and Skims, where I don't have to pay any extra fees, the import fees from Shopbop can really add up. It's frustrating to see that sometimes these fees can be more than 25% of the total cost of what I'm buying. For example, paying $70 in import fees for an order that's just under $400 is quite off-putting and makes me think twice about shopping there.

    Cult Gaia bag

    I found out recently that a Cult Gaia bag I bought from Shopbop 7 years ago is actually a fake. I always thought Shopbop sold genuine items, but when I checked with the brand, they confirmed it was a fake. I contacted customer service to try and sort it out, but so far, I haven't got a satisfactory solution. I've been a loyal customer, so I'm pretty gutted about this and I reckon I deserve a refund for what I paid for the bag.

    Counterfeit Designer Bag

    I bought something from Shopbop recently and boy was it a nightmare! I splashed out a lot of cash on what was meant to be a fancy designer handbag, but all I got was a shoddy fake. The leather was ripped, there were glue stains everywhere, and it was obvious that this bag wasn't the real deal. I was so let down and felt like Shopbop had totally tricked me. Selling fake stuff is just not on, especially for a company known for being high-class. I'd advise anyone thinking about getting luxury items from Shopbop to think really carefully and be on their guard.

    I bought a piece of clothing from the sale section on Shopbop not long ago and was happy with the choices and descriptions of the items. But, as a customer ordering from the US to Europe, I was let down to find out there were extra charges that weren't mentioned initially. Even though I found a good bargain on the item, I ended up shelling out more money because of these surprise fees. It would have been handy if Shopbop had given clearer information about these possible charges in advance, especially for customers like me overseas. The idea of maybe having to send the item back and facing even more charges is quite worrying.

    Gift purchase for friend

    I had a really annoying experience with an online shop recently and I want to talk about it. So, I found the perfect birthday present for my friend on this website and I placed my order in good time, looking forward to an easy buying process. But it all went downhill from there. Days passed without any shipping info, so I logged in only to find out my account had been deactivated with no warning. When I contacted Customer Service, they told me my order had been cancelled for no reason. Even after checking with my bank and finding no problems, Shopbop kept blaming external issues. Their lack of communication just made me more frustrated, as I had no clue about what was going on with my order. Making a new account didn't help either, as the same problems kept happening and Shopbop couldn't sort it out. Their ridiculous excuses for the cancellations and unhelpful responses from customer service made me really fed up with the whole shopping experience.

    I recently bought a pair of shoes from this online shop and it was a total disaster. After I placed my order, I had loads of problems with their customer service. They randomly deactivated my account but kept sending me loads of promotional emails, which just confused me even more. When I tried to contact their customer service team to sort things out, they were really unhelpful and just sent me to different departments that didn't explain anything. In the end, they told me I couldn't buy anything from them anymore, which left me feeling upset and unhappy with the whole shopping experience. It's clear this company has some major issues with their customer service, as loads of bad reviews show similar problems.

    Split-hem denim trousers

    Let me tell you, the customer service at this place is terrible. I was on hold for nearly an hour, only to get disconnected multiple times, and then I finally spoke to someone who was incredibly rude. I won't stand for it. I can't believe I spent my money on a company that treats people so poorly. I won't be making that mistake again, that's for sure.
