Shoes and clothing
I'm feeling really let down by the recent purchase I made at this shop. I've been waiting for my order for 9 days and haven't heard anything from them about where it is. I've tried to get in touch by email and live chat but haven't received any replies. It's really disappointing to experience this lack of communication and poor customer service.
Monthly subscription box
My experience with the monthly subscription box has been pretty disappointing. I had to wait 10 days for my first box to arrive, and that was only because I had to keep checking on it. The items in the box were okay, but not really worth the hassle of waiting so long. I recently found out that the renewal date depends on when you place your order, so the delay in sending out the items means I have less time to enjoy them each month. I'm going to take the advice of other customers and make sure to send back my items promptly to cancel on time. The responses from customer service weren't helpful at all and just left me confused. Overall, the whole experience has been weird and unsatisfying. I wouldn't recommend this service and I'm counting down the days until I can cancel my subscription.
Clothing items
I recently ordered some clothes from this company and I have to say, the experience wasn't great. At first, everything seemed fine with the order going through smoothly. But then, I waited for three weeks with no updates on my order. When I eventually got in touch with them, they said a machine had broken down and they were waiting for an engineer to come and fix it. After a few more days of waiting, the problem was still there, so I asked for a refund.
Rental clothes
I had a really bad time with this company. It took more than a week for them to even send out my order, and they didn't bother to explain or apologise for the delay. When my parcel was finally on its way, it got cancelled by the delivery company for some unknown reason and sent back to the sender. And to top it off, the clothes from the parcel were missing, but The Devout still tried to charge me for them, even though they were stolen during delivery. Dealing with their customer service was a nightmare - unhelpful and slow at getting back to me, which made everything even more frustrating. I've asked multiple times for them to close and delete my account, but they just haven't bothered. Overall, it was a really awful experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Subscription box not received
I've been waiting for my subscription box from this company for months. But my account still shows no items on loan. It's as if they're taking money from me without giving me the service I paid for. Completely unacceptable.

I really like The Devout and how it offers value to customers. The range of clothes is great, and I enjoy the excitement of getting something new each month. But I have had some problems with the website being a bit glitchy and the format overlapping, which can be annoying when trying to find things.
oversized clothing, slow delivery
The customer service at this company is absolutely terrible. It took them ages to reply to my questions about my order, and when they did, they didn't give me any clear answers. From what I've seen in other people's reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one dealing with this problem. It's been a whole week since I placed my order, and my clothes still haven't arrived. But they had no trouble taking my money right away. I got an email saying my items would be sent out "tomorrow", but now it's been 2 days and they're still not here. The communication is really poor and not at all helpful, with my emails often being ignored. I'm starting to wonder what I'm actually paying for here. Their service is so unreliable, it's almost like a scam, and on top of all that, the clothes are way too big for their sizes.
Wardrobe reset with styling services
The idea of The Devout sounded good at first, and I was really keen to give their styling services a go. I decided to go for their biggest box, which was originally priced at £99, but they had a special offer where it was half price for the first 3 months. The first two boxes I got were great, I even bought a few things I liked. But then things went downhill with the third box. I was told to pack up my second one and wait for the next, but weeks went by with nothing happening. The website didn't change, my February box was sitting by my door, and I had no idea what was going on. When I finally asked for an explanation, all I got were vague responses and excuses about delays. They said I'd only get a 50% refund for the box I never received because they didn't collect it on time. It was a mess of poor communication and frustration, which made me doubt the company and their so-called 'styling services'.
10 garment plan subscription
I signed up for the 10 item plan for both me and my husband, excited to try out the idea of having a rotating wardrobe. Although there weren't many sizes available for men, I liked the concept and looked forward to getting our deliveries every month. Unfortunately, my happiness was ruined by the poor service I received. I tried to get in touch via email to discuss some problems as it was more convenient for me than making phone calls, but my request was denied. I faced issues like late deliveries, missing clothes, and confusion about billing and delivery dates. It was really annoying to deal with such inconsistency and poor communication from the customer service team, particularly because I wanted to resolve these problems to make my experience better. Even when I decided to cancel, the process was difficult and there wasn't enough time to return items. Overall, I think this service has potential, but they really need to work on their customer service and responsiveness to fix the many issues I had during my subscription.

To me, it is really a big relief which encourages spending less in buying fashions but offering opportunity to wear more for less. Also, I don't know about many companies offering these kind of services and even if they are, doing it at very professional level like The Devout does may be in doubt. I'm totally pleased with what I'm getting from The Devout and I can't hesitate to recommend them to others.
