    I've used Camptoo a few times now and I have to say, my experience has been mostly good. The website is really easy to use and helps you find the camper van you want and a pick-up spot that works for you. However, I've had a few problems with the actual hirers letting me down. But the good thing is, Camptoo has always sorted things out and made sure I wasn't left out of pocket, which I'm grateful for. It's nice to know they've got your back if anything goes wrong.

    What a dreadful time I had with Camptoo! I hired a caravan in August/September 2022, and let me tell you, it was a complete nightmare. No matter how many times I tried to get in touch with Camptoo by phone or email, there was just nothing. And the same story with the rental owners - communication was seriously lacking. It took more than 4 weeks to get my deposit back, which was just so frustrating and really unprofessional.

    The owner rushed through the handover, leaving us with a dirty van full of old food and grime. We couldn't even use the facilities because they were so unclean. When we returned it, we got hit with a huge bill for damages we didn't do - felt like a total rip-off!

    I rented a camper van through Camptoo for the first time recently, and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. The person who rented it hasn't even paid me the deposit, and on top of that, they haven't reimbursed me for the extra miles they drove. I've tried contacting them several times, but I haven't had any luck getting a response. It's impossible to get in touch with anyone from Denmark or find a support number. The customer service has been absolutely awful, and I wouldn't recommend putting your vehicle on a platform where customers don't get their money. I'd stay far away from it.

    Disappointing experience with Camptoo

    My experience with Camptoo was really disappointing. I was a victim of their fraudulent actions, which caused me to suffer a big financial loss from camper damage and not getting paid for the full rental time. It's so frustrating and disheartening to see a company acting so dishonestly, putting customers like me in a tough spot. I really hope they take more action to fix these problems and stop them from affecting others in the future.

    Camping holiday nightmare

    My camping trip turned into a bit of a nightmare when I rented a caravan through Camptoo. The trouble started when I got charged for damage to the water pipe, which was actually due to a problem with the heating system of the caravan. I tried to explain the situation to Camptoo, but they still made me pay for the damage. Even the excess cover I had didn't help, as they said it was just normal wear and tear. To top it off, they took down my honest and polite review from their site, which pointed out the behaviour of the caravan owner. It seems like they care more about the owner than their customers.

    I'd heard some pretty bad things about this company, but I thought I'd give them a chance for my last booking. Turns out, my experience was just as bad as others - not getting paid and having trouble getting my security deposit back. They never responded to my emails, and not having a phone number to call just made it even more annoying. It's pretty obvious that this company can't be relied on and isn't trustworthy at all.

    I've had a really disappointing time with the platform for renting. Even though I contacted customer service lots of times about my worries, they didn't manage to sort things out properly. I'm thinking about trying out different rental options because my problems haven't been fixed.
