    Meet and Greet Parking

    I recently tried out the Meet and Greet parking service at East Midlands Airport for the first time. I have to say, it was really easy and straightforward. I was a bit unsure at first, so I made sure I checked my mileage before and after, but there were no issues at all. I liked the fact that they scanned and took photos of my car when I drove in, as it gave me extra peace of mind against potential false damage claims. The only small downside was that the entry was a bit tight, and there was a big curb, so I had to be careful when parking. But overall, it was a really good experience.

    I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team at East Midlands Airport for the amazing service they provided during our last visit. When we got back from our holiday, we had a bit of trouble with our car doors because of the rain. The Meet and Greet team were really swift in coming to help us out and managed to unlock the doors in no time. Their help was so appreciated, and they dealt with everything so professionally and quickly. It was such a relief to have them there supporting us in a moment of stress.

    My experience at East Midlands Airport

    I went to East Midlands Airport and you know what? It was amazing! There were loads of things to do and see. The people there were really friendly and helpful, especially this woman who showed me around. She was so kind and made my time at the airport really enjoyable. I had a great time exploring all the shops and restaurants. I'm looking forward to going back again soon!

    Flight back from holiday

    Oh my god, I've just got back from my holiday this evening and I just had to give a shoutout to the fantastic Ambi lift team at the airport! They were incredibly helpful, especially Shaun and Sian. They really went out of their way to make sure we were able to catch our flight. Shaun was such a lovely guy, so thoughtful. A huge thank you from Michael and Diana!

    Pick-up at East Midlands Airport

    I've just had a bad experience picking someone up from East Midlands Airport. Even though we stopped at the right spot, we got hit with a £100 fine for just a quick pick up. It's really put me off using this airport again. I think they need to rethink how they handle fines and punishments for small things like this.

    Queuing with a walking stick

    East Midlands Airport was actually a pretty good experience, but honestly, it was a bit annoying having to wait in line for so long with my walking stick. Usually, other airports have special lines for disabled people, but not this one. Going through the x-ray check and passport control took forever and was a total hassle, to be honest.

    Drop off experience

    I must say, EMA is probably the worst airport I've ever been to for dropping off passengers. The so-called "rapid drop off" was anything but rapid - it took me ages to get out of there because of the slow barriers. Why don't they do it like LHR, where you can pay online afterwards? And to top it off, there were pot holes everywhere and a distinct lack of staff on hand to help. Just a nightmare, really.

    Gridlock at East Midlands Airport

    I recently went to East Midlands Airport and honestly, it was a total nightmare! The barriers there were causing a huge traffic jam, making it nearly impossible for any cars to move. People were getting really angry and I even witnessed a few shouting matches. I mean, why do they put so much effort into making the airport look good if they can't even get the pick-up and drop-off area right? This has been going on for ages and they seriously need to sort it out as soon as possible!

    I've just paid for parking, fast track, and premium lounge access at East Midlands Airport. I got the barcode for fast track with no problems, but had trouble getting the entry barcode for the premium lounge. It was a bit annoying since I'd paid extra for these services.

    Lost Luggage Fiasco

    I recently arrived at East Midlands Airport as a customer, and I have to say my experience was a total nightmare. Upon returning to the UK from another airport, we discovered that all of our luggage was missing. It was like something out of a horror movie - no one seemed to know where our belongings had gone. We were stuck for a good two hours before finally being reunited with our bags. By then, our taxi had already left, and we were left feeling abandoned and frustrated. The lack of communication from the airport staff just made the situation even more stressful and unbearable. Overall, it was a complete disaster, and I wouldn't want anyone to go through the same thing.

    Parking charge issue

    My time at East Midlands Airport was a complete disaster. The place was a mess, the service was poor, and everything just didn't work properly. And let's not forget about the never-ending queues for security and customs. To top it all off, I got a ridiculous Charge Notice for trying to enter a car park that just wouldn't let me in, resulting in a £100 fine for briefly stopping on a red line. Can you believe it?

    Customer experience at East Midlands Airport

    When I got to East Midlands Airport, I was really let down by the awful service they gave me. I had to wait forever on the plane for a shuttle bus, and when I finally got on it, I felt like I was being herded like cattle, all while sweltering in the heat as the drivers just chatted away. Then, in arrivals, I had to go through this confusing maze only to end up back where I started. The wait for my luggage was just ridiculous, and when I eventually made it to car park 2, it was shut with no signs telling me what to do. The staff were no help at all, more interested in having a smoke than helping out us customers. It was definitely the worst airport experience I've ever had.

    It's absolutely ridiculous that my flight was delayed first because there wasn't a fuel tanker and then again because of maintenance on the runway. The complete lack of planning and organisation is just appalling. It's been a massive inconvenience and has totally messed up my travel plans. It's just not acceptable at all.

    Airport experience

    I was really let down by my recent trip to East Midlands Airport. It honestly felt like a huge warehouse and didn't seem to be run very well. Not having enough shuttle buses for the car park was a real pain, I ended up standing around for almost an hour waiting for a lift. On the whole, I'd suggest giving this airport a miss if you can, the facilities and services just weren't up to scratch.

    Bad special assistance

    The special assistance at this airport is absolutely dreadful. When we were going through security, they completely disregarded my husband's lanyard explaining his brain injury and made him undergo a thorough pat-down search. It was incredibly stressful. And on our return journey, we encountered the same problems - not enough space on the ambulift and no support staff. Malaga Airport was a lot better, with kind and supportive assistance staff who were by our side throughout. East Midlands Airport really needs to improve their services!
