    Regular use of taxi service in Dublin, Ireland

    I've been using the taxi service in Dublin, Ireland every other week since the start of the year and I haven't had any problems at all. The app works really well, and the taxis always arrive on time, usually within 3-4 minutes of booking or when I pre-book. It's great that I get a full VAT invoice for each trip sent to me via email. The service has always been top-notch, and I've never been overcharged. The platform fee of €1 per trip is fair compared to other taxi apps in London, so it's really good value for money. I just wish they had this service available in London too.

    Pre-booked taxi no-show

    I pre-booked a taxi for the next day, but when the time came for pick-up, I was left stranded. I got a notification saying there were no drivers available, which made me feel really frustrated and let down. It's important as a customer to be able to trust a service, but unfortunately, that trust was broken this time.

    Overcharged, poor customer service

    I had a really frustrating experience with the service. I only took one trip, but somehow got charged twice for it. The charges showed up on my bank statements, but didn't show in the app. I tried contacting the customer care team twice, but got no response. It was really disappointing, especially seeing others with similar issues on social media. I'm not giving up until I get my refund.

    Difficulty with driver registration

    After trying numerous times to sign up as a driver and not getting any responses to my emails, I've decided to call it quits! Best of luck to you on trying to make your company better! Seems like there's quite a bit of incompetence among your team! And based on your overall rating, it seems to be a true reflection of your company!

    My first experience with this service was a let-down. I booked a ride with 90 minutes to spare before my pick-up time, but then got a message saying there weren't any drivers available. It was really annoying and inconvenient, making me reconsider using this service again.

    Taxi booking disappointment

    I had a bit of a nightmare with my taxi booking the other day. I had made a booking the day before and when the time came for my ride, I got a message saying there were no free taxis available. I complained through the app but was told to send the complaint from my registered email address on the app, which was a bit of a mess up. And to top it all off, they still charged my Amex for the ride without sorting out the problem.

    Scamming taxi driver

    The taxi driver totally ripped off my mate from abroad by choosing the longest way to the airport and then hitting them with a crazy high fare. They're skint and don't know their way around here. Doing stuff like that is just plain wrong and heartless. I won't be using that service ever again.

    Cab booking with disappointing customer service

    I had a really bad time trying to book a cab using this service recently. Me and my girlfriend booked it twice, but both times the drivers cancelled on us. When I called customer service to ask for a refund, they basically said no and just gave me a useless voucher instead. The way they handled the situation was just not right - no accountability or professionalism at all. It was really disappointing.

    Taxi booking experience

    I recently booked a taxi for a trip from one place to another. When I saw the amount charged to my card was much higher than the price shown in the taxi, I was surprised. I thought I would get a refund, but instead, I was charged even more. This left me feeling disappointed with the whole experience. I've complained formally and am now waiting for a response from the company. It's better to be careful when booking with this service.

    Pre-booked taxi, road closures, cancellation fee issue

    I was really let down by their pre-booking service. I had booked a taxi for a certain time, but because of road closures, the driver couldn't get to me. When I asked him to cancel the ride, he wouldn't do it. I had to cancel it myself and ended up getting charged a cancellation fee. It was an extra cost I could have done without, especially since the road closures were already causing me enough stress.

    Last-minute taxi booking

    I'm really let down with the service I got from this company. They said you could book a taxi "up to 4 days in advance," but when I needed one just 10 minutes before I wanted to be picked up, I was left high and dry. I waited for ages for them to assign a taxi to me, only to get a message saying there weren't any available. It put me in a right pickle, having to scramble to find another way to get where I needed to go and costing me extra money. When I'm a customer, I reckon the service should be dependable and quick, especially when it's an emergency like mine. But sadly, this company didn't come through, so I won't be using them again.

    Late cancellation of ride

    I had booked my ride with Free Now seven hours earlier, but they cancelled it just 2 minutes before it was due to arrive, saying they couldn't find a driver. What's the point of letting me book ahead if they can't guarantee it? And why limit me to cancelling only up to 60 minutes before the ride when they're only trying to find a driver 5 minutes before? It's frustrating when you need a reliable service, and Free Now let me down when it mattered most. Luckily, Uber came to the rescue.
