Long-term survey completion
I've been using GFK for a long time, doing surveys for a number of years. I really enjoyed the surveys and liked giving feedback on different products and services. I even won some money in prize draws a few times, and they always paid out quickly.
But things changed when I tried to log into my account after not using it for a while. No matter how many times I tried to get in touch with customer service, I was told my account had been deleted for breaking their rules. I never got a proper explanation or details about what rules I broke, which was pretty disappointing and frustrating after being a loyal member for so long.Mystery shopping gigs
I've been mystery shopping with them for three years now and it's been really good. The jobs are different every time and the pay is fair. The tasks are usually simple and clear, with just a few questions to ask, but they always handle it well. I've had some exciting special assignments too. They always pay on time and never try to trick you. I would definitely recommend them.
Hacked Microsoft Account
I signed up with this company not long ago and then someone tried to hack into my Microsoft account. I was really shocked and upset about the security breach. I want to warn others to be careful about sharing their personal information with this company.
Phone survey completion
I keep getting disqualified on this platform, it's really annoying. But this last time was the worst. I finally got through a phone survey, did everything properly, and got to the "Thank you for completing survey" page. And then, bam! Redirected and told I didn't qualify. It feels like they just wasted my time and effort.
Purchased gift cards through points redemption
I've been a customer at GFK for years and for the most part, I've had good experiences redeeming my points for gift cards. But, recently I ran into a problem. I earned 1700 points and swapped 1500 for a voucher, but I never got the email code. Also, I'm no longer getting the daily reminders and when I reached out to the help desk, I didn't get a reply. Now, when I try to log in with the right details, it tells me the information is incorrect. It's really frustrating to have these issues after being a loyal customer for so long.
Bad experience with a survey
I had a really terrible experience with this survey that was meant to be about listening to radios and stuff. Normally, the people who conduct these surveys are pretty decent, but this time was just a complete disaster. I spent a whole week listening to the radio, and then when I went to complete the final part of the survey, they wouldn't let me! It was so unfair and such a waste of my time!

What a letdown! I joined this survey site thinking I could make some extra money, but out of the blue, my account got deleted with no heads up. I lost all the rewards I'd racked up, and it's really irritating. Feels like a proper scam to me.

The survey site I used wasn't great, mainly because the points I earned could only be used for 'Prize Draws,' not for cash. Also, they didn't give me any credit for watching AppleTV+, so I missed out on earning points on those days. Plus, random surveys would just pop up without telling me how long they would take or how many points I'd get. Personally, I think YLive! gives better rewards for doing surveys than this site.
Lottery points redemption
I had a bit of a rough time with the recent changes to the GFK system. I've been a loyal customer for years and managed to rack up 200,000 points in their weekly lottery. However, I was only given less than 2 weeks to spend these points before they vanished into thin air. The messages they sent out about the changes were all over the place, with loads of spam emails repeating the same stuff and no clear guidance on how to get to grips with the new setup. To add insult to injury, when I tried to claim a £1 voucher, I was told a verification code had been sent, but I never got it through email or phone. And then, to top it off, when I tried to reach out to their support centre for help, turns out they were closed for the day. It was a real headache and took up so much of my time, making me feel like they didn't value me as a customer. I reckon GFK has the potential to improve their systems and the way they communicate, but until they sort themselves out, I'll be giving them a miss and recommending others do the same.
Phone call inquiry
When I called this company, I just wanted to give you all a heads up - I'd be a bit careful. The automated message on the phone made me a bit wary, you know? It just kept playing the same recording and didn't give me a chance to speak to a real person. That kind of thing makes me doubt how reliable and trustworthy they are.
Points needed for exchange
When I managed to collect enough points to swap, they just went and took them away from me. And now, they're not even getting back to my emails, or if they do, it's only after ages. Definitely steer clear of these scammers, whatever you do.
Doing surveys for years
I've been doing these surveys for ages now and I was really looking forward to finally cash in my points. But when I tried to log into my account, it kept saying my password was incorrect! It's just not right! I attempted to reset it, but no luck. I also reached out to customer service multiple times, but never heard back from them. It's all so frustrating, just a complete waste of time! I recommend steering clear of this place at all costs!
False Promises
I can't believe the way this company works! They tempt you with promises of rewards for doing tasks, but it's all a con. I spent ages doing what they wanted, only to get nothing back. GFK is a total rip-off and I won't be fooled by them again.
