Music PR campaign
The team over at Music Gateway were absolutely brilliant to work with, to be honest. Lee, Leila, Leon, and Sophie were all incredibly helpful and their communication was spot on. I really appreciated their enthusiasm and support throughout the whole process. They were really good at explaining things clearly and made me feel like they genuinely cared about my success.
However, there were a few times where I felt like I could have been kept better in the loop about certain parts of the campaign. Like, for instance, I had to ask for updates on when to expect Business Manager access requests and when my pre-save campaign was going live. It would have been nice if they had been more on top of giving me these updates without me having to chase them up.
When I mentioned this concern, they were really apologetic and handled it in a really professional way. Sophie, especially, was super helpful and understanding. Despite this hiccup, I still think that the team at Music Gateway are really hardworking, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping artists do well. Even though the services they offered weren't exactly what I needed, and I only decided to go ahead with 2 out of the 3 campaigns, I would honestly recommend them to other emerging artists looking for support with their campaigns.Album release support
I've recently made the decision to launch my album next month and I reached out to this platform for some help. At first, I was a bit annoyed because it took them 3 days to get back to me, but once they got back to me, they were really helpful and provided detailed responses which was a relief. I really appreciate the support they've given me, especially in dealing with the splits for my music. I'd rather pay $200 and get good customer service, than take a chance with a cheap service that might not be there for me and could cause problems like songs randomly being taken down. The layout on the site is easy to use, but I did come across a few bugs. Some of their extra services seemed a bit too expensive, like the playlist pitching for 2 grand to get a minimum of 40,000 streams. In my opinion, it might be better to invest in ads. It's important to remember not to rely solely on one platform for promoting your music. In the end, I think it's worth paying more for good service and keeping all your royalties in today's music market, where responsive support can really make a difference.

Radio campaign results
The team was pretty helpful overall, but we were a bit let down by the results and communication during the campaign. We understand that radio campaigns can be a bit unpredictable, but we felt like most of the results were down to our own hard work rather than the team's efforts. Also, the colleague in charge of our campaign didn't seem too enthusiastic, which didn't help our experience. We think there are other ways to get a better ROI.
A&R meeting
The platform is great, but that A&R meeting was a bit of a disaster. They couldn't help us and then they cancelled the meeting twice without giving much of an explanation. They really need to work on their communication!
Music transfer from DistroKid
I've been trying to move my music over from DistroKid to this platform for about three weeks now. Unfortunately, not all of my songs are coming through in the transfer. I've tried getting in touch with the distribution team a few times by email, but haven't heard anything back. This means my music is still stuck in review, and I can't reach out to the support team for help. It's really frustrating how there's been no communication and the whole music transfer process is taking so long. I wanted to use this platform for its publishing and syncing tools, but with things like this, it's just not possible. I was considering upgrading to a pro account, but I'm worried about doing so when my emails about the music transfer aren't even getting a response.
